So glad I found your channel. You seriously have THE BEST CONTENT man, I don’t know how you don’t have a bigger following, but you definitely deserve all the subs. Love your editing style, energy, and the content is unmatched. Super dope channel bro, hope you keep it going!
@@reptiliandiaries anything and everything. My main focus is varanus gilleni as I’m obsessed with them in captivity. They are proving a lot harder than others have made it out to be. Like you, I do enjoy my geckos. So far I’ve gotten 13 species of reptiles. Centralian knobtail, smooth knobtail (levis), fat tailed gecko, pale headed gecko, a gehyra sp., liopholis margaretae, centralian bluey, western bluey, mulga snake, Stimsons python, shovel nosed snake, curl snake & 1000 long nosed dragons. Yet to turn up any alive monitors and seen so many dead herps on the roads. Last night tonight so hopefully I’ll get a couple more herps. I’ve been putting videos out on my channel if it interests you at all. Cheers!
@@BeachesScalyBeasts sounds like you aren’t doing too bad. Monitors were surprisingly scarce on our trip. We got to see the big stuff but missed the small stuff entirely except an ackie that was wedged into the rocks so we just got a glimpse. Good luck if you’re still at it! Cheers!
we need those Aussie taxonomist here all our stuff is getting lumped together it seems. 3:47 could feel the flies through the screen. hate 'em. Cool looking geckos, did you find all the ssp when you were there?
Not up on the laws in Melbourne, but I think you need to fill out some paperwork for a permit and then head to your local reptile show and see what’s available:)
I’m based in the USA. Reptiles from Australia have been in the world wide hobby since well before the ban on trade. Many people here in the states and also in other countries have various species of reptiles from Australia

Great video! I hope you have some more of these coming with some of the other species you found.
Thank you, and yes I do....can't travel at the moment, so I'll be putting together a few more of these in the coming weeks.
Love these little guys, how would I be able to be the lucky owner of one in Melbourne Aus?

which is the largest species of Oedura Gecko (as you mentioned from diff regions)
Hard to say….fimbria, cincta, filicipoda….a few get good sized!
Just out of curiosity, how many clutches per season do they normally produce for you or what is average?
I typically get two to four clutches from a female.
Are you based in Australia now? Or did you manage to somehow breed the WA lizards in the USA?
