    Great vid. I was a Museum preparator for 30 years, did lots of that stuff. Amongst the best I've seen. The last big job I did was a 15m long rock wall for the Mowanjum community out of Derbyshire.

    Awesome build, sorry again about the loss of the original inhabitants. This gave me some inspiration for my upcoming Ackie Monitor and Leopard Gecko builds.

    Such a great enclosure, real unfortunate we won’t be able to fully appreciate the build without the animals in mind living in there.

    Omg this is so perfect, I was just thinking of getting some (different) velvet geckos and making a setup for them!!

    This is so cool. I love watching your new techniques for building rocks. I keep thinking about plants that would suit arid enclosures and I think dwarf nandinas would be awesome, iv cut my down with a whipper snipper and they grow back no worries

    Awesome video as always mate! Do you think the background would be ok to submerge in water? I'm looking at making a turtle paludarium and your background looked mint!

      I’m not 100% sure on that one. I know Shane Greenman has done a couple for aquariums. Might be best to talk to him about it. Thanks though!

    I love those rocks, great job. If you don’t go with velvets again maybe you could try some cave geckos.

    Hey man, loving your videos and the podcast. Sorry about the loss. One thing I was thinking was that ficus plants are toxic specially if ingested. Not sure if it played any part but something to consider.
    Keep up the good work 💪!

    • @BeachesScalyBeasts
      @BeachesScalyBeasts  2 года назад +1

      Thanks mate! I’ve certainly considered that but I don’t believe they would have eaten it. I’ve kept these plants with lots of animals. Not impossible though.

  • @geronimo1010

    What did you use to stick the pieces of foam together around 2:30 and 3:20 ?

  • @benng6521
    @benng6521 2 года назад +1

    just wondering… what brand of the acrylic paint did u use?

    • @BeachesScalyBeasts
      @BeachesScalyBeasts  2 года назад

      Usually just non toxic stuff from Bunnings or the cheap shops. I use it in all of my enclosures.
