Awesome video! I’ve been wanting to get one of these myself… there’s not a lot of reptiles that you can keep in Australia, but we have some awesome geckos!
Awesome video Peter. I love velvet geckos. Such amazing and beautiful animals. Thank you for the info. I love when you put videos up. I wish you posted a lot more. I hope you're having a great day. This is Richard from Arkansas sending lots of love, support, and respect. Oh, I would really like to see how your monitors doing if you feel like making a video about them.
Just love these little ones 😍😊I am getting some knob tailed geckos shortly and I wondered if you heat the tanks and tubs on one side ?I live in Vic but have central heating for the winter so is it necessary to heat up one side of enclosure ?sorry this question is not related to the gorgeous little velvets ,I hope to one day ,be luck enough to adopt a velvet also 😊 looking forward to hearing from you all the best lovin' all of your informative videos so glad I came across your chanel I have also told my son about your Channel as he is thinking of getting a snake so thanks again 😉🤗☺
@@canadiantoast6505 Amazing Amazon has a bunch, they have the Marbled velvets which imo are more beautiful than the Northerns even without the morphs, I’m quite late but hope I helped
I'm interested in getting a knob-tail or a species similar soon and i see you like to use sand, and sooo many people don't agree with it.. Why in your opinion do you think its ok? Because I also have a pair of southern spiny tail geckos and they are on a paper towel flooring because i was worried about them eating the sand like people say, i did notice they like to dig at times i wasn't sure why but if this is fun for them i don't want to take that away.. i did find the 2 geckos at a beach in a pile of bricks where there was alot of sand, so i didn't think it would be that bad, i mean its natural where they live so.. your help would be greatly appreciated. We have to have native geckos here in Australia, its a bit of a pity cause i love the leopard geckos. thankyou, and love your work and how you help these little cuties to reproduce.
Adams World knob tailed geckos prefer sand and come from areas literally covered in sand, it’s fine for them and the fear about reptiles getting impacted on sand stems from bad health issues and not the sand itself. Spiny tailed geckos are arboreal so the likelihood of them even eating the substrate is very low.
@@CrittaCam ok thanks just wondering because I was wondering should I get one but I don’t want one that lost it’s tail I might just go for the knob tail
It's to show that they really require a vertical enclosure, this size is fine for a few hatchies but you can go as large as you like as long as they can still bask and hide ect.
Too cute! Do they tolerate any handling or are they the "leave me the hell alone" type of creature?
These guys can be handled with but they are quick and will jump
They are very cute little geckos and l have yet to have one myself.

They are cute
How could I go about purchasing one of these cuties? Can you give me some contacts please? Also what is your take on an arboreal setup for them?
Do they lose there tails ?
They can do

Can house them together?
Is this just symbolic?
It looks way to small for them.

So how can I get my hands on one of these.? I’m working skunk geckos, crested, and leopard gecko.
These are Australian gecko's
Are you sure that isn’t too small for them.
Hey mate how would I go about getting in contact with you?
