Thank you, this was very informative. I love the indoor pit. We have our first Shingleback (3 yr) and she’s so friendly. Once she’s finished basking she scratches at her door to hang out with us, over and over.

RUclips recommended this channel in the "Creator on the Rise" section, and while I'm not a lizard owner myself, it looks like you are passionate about what you do and I hope you keep doing what you're doing. :)
We've got a blue tongue living under our house at the moment, so I guess there's some connection haha!

I have a Northern, I made him a bio-active enclosure which, he uses for his toilet and basking site. Otherwise, he has free run of our room, but mainly he sleeps under the pillows and blankets.... he is an urban lizard

I’ll never forget working west of Cobar last year after a light shower of rain. Probably saw over 1000 shingle backs per km drinking off the road. The variations in colours and patterns were amazing

astroturf is the best, and just like in your last video with the paper for the tubs, I have at least 2 pieces of astroturf cut of each enclosure, so when I need to clean one, I just put the other already clean one in, makes it all easier

I understand why they don't allow you to export animals, I do, but I really wish the government would allow you to sell CBB animals to customers in other countries. It's almost impossible to get your hands on a shingleback skink in the US. They are adorable though. I live in Texas, so I could probably house them outside most of the year too. I'd just have to bring them in for a few weeks in the winter when it gets too cold and wet. Thanks for the awesome video. Loved seeing the different skinks. ^_^

Out of the Tiliqua species shinglebacks are on the top of the list, but it is the WA goldfields local that I really like but they are a little beyond my budget. As for blue tongues my favourites are the centralian and the blotchies. Got to give you a shout out mate because your videos helped get my 3 youngest kids interested in keeping herps. I used to catch stuff and keep it for a while and then release them, but that was Qld way back when I was kid in the seventies. But after a looong absence from it, it is good to be back into it with my kids. You have been a wealth of knowledge without ever having met or talked to ya
