- Day two of working with this chap and it's gone very well. He's still skittish with sudden movements, but he walked out of the vivarium on to my arm for a split second before freaking out and running off, and as shown in this video, he will now let me stroke him :)
Beautiful monitor and awesome species. I haven’t had the pleasure of working with them yet but it seems like he’s definitely starting to trust you definitely great work bud 🙌
Thanks, agree 100%. I'm astonished how quickly I'm winning him round - he's 3 years old and from sounds of it, has had very minimal handling/interaction until 48 hours ago.
