In a nutshell: the more religious (regardless of specific religion) the country is, the more violent and unjust it gets.
Whether you come at this religiously it not, their hearts are file with hate. Just check out the Dems vs Republicans relationship, they seem to hate each other more than they ever did in their history. Where there's hate, there will always be evil and one of America's display of evil is mass shootings.
Mass shooting are a combination of all the suggested factors; guns, bad/no parenting, lack of morality and any other misnomer mentioned.
You know the US sounds like a bunch of alcoholics.

I never get used to how much America talks about Christianity publicly/in the media, in Australia it’s not about less of us are religious we just know to keep our personal beliefs away from legislation/the media/etc

Along with banning guns, you should also have a look at the criminology and how to prevent criminal mindset in young people.
It's a bit tough going if their closest thing for a father figure is Donald Trump.
Banning guns would be as great an idea as alcohol prohibition, with very similar results.

@Itchybell games , and yet numerous other countries have all these issues yet we don’t see these events there. I agree their needs to be better support for people but we need to do something about the weapons that allow these events to take place.
Everybody knows what's right and what's wrong, they just deny it, exactly when it comes to mind searching for reasons to justify it.

Its all in the quran, the quran is the true words of god. You do bad, you go to hell for eternity, you do good, you enter the heaven and its pleasure eternally. Who wants to trade this world which at max are 60-80 ish to most to get pain for eternity, or lose rewards that are for eternity? Nobody does, if only they believe and keep on remembering that the day of reckoning is there. Second, why dont god just reveal himself to us all right now? Because this world is a test, does anybody bother to open the quran and read it as a whole and finds out if its trully the word of god? You see, only humble people would do it, while the ignorance wont bother finding it out while they say “its not the word of god”, without reading the entire quran to the fullest or by ignoring parts of the quran.
