Feels so great to follow along the growth of your channel, being here from the start. You put tremendous effort into every project and the success so far is very much because of it. Hope to see more from you Ned :)
Neddy, ark still needs you. These videos are pure gold! Your indepth video about the ark story, is still on my playlist... idc that it's 2hours. You made some material ark players can use for the rest of Ark's life.
Just finished watching all the other ark guide videos and loved every single bit of all of them, its clear right from the start that you put massive amounts of work and love into your videos. In the future i plan to do a ARK marathon completing all the story arks in order and these videos give me a tremendous amount of motivation! Love this channel and i hope that you get the recognition that you deserve.

as someone who understands the algorythm set out by youtube, i have like, subscribed and pushed the bell, this comment is to add some algojuice, and i have also shared the content with myself, as i have no friends. Thankyou Neddy, keep up the work of a legend.
Thank you for these guides! I just recently got Ark for the first time after watching people play it for forever and there’s so much I didn’t know!!! Definitely earned my sub :)
Love these videos! Covers everything you need to know about a particular map, the differences from other maps most notably without going into too much detail and dragging on. And the little section bookmarks, whatever they are called, so appreciated! Thanks for the videos
Lovely video, I look forward to the Genesis guide too, once Part 2 is out or sometime after, anyway just keep it up with these videos, for I and many people enjoy them, but for now just take a break.
Amazing! Extinction was one of the DLCs I never played... now it feels like I'm a pro at it... definitely gonna be checking it out whenever I'm back in the game! Great Job
Somehow I'm already nostalgic about it, even though it's only been 2 years heh.. maybe its from the ark 2 announcement, but ARK is becoming strangely more and more memorable.
I know everything in extinction but i watch the video anyway it's really good video the music and the way you talk in the video makes the video really cool
Something other things to note about Enforcers is that their special attack (C key by default on PC) is a sort of force field pulse that does knock back in all directions (has about the same AoE coverage as snow owl dive bomb or griffin dive bomb). The pulse also slows all targets that it hits temporarily. Enforcers don't have an oxygen stat and can't swim. Rather while on an Enforcer underwater is just like dry land. Meaning they will run along the ocean floor at the same speed as they do on land. The only real difference is that they have a hard time clinging to many underwater surfaces (this can make getting back on land a little annoying and makes you realize how steep most parts of most coastlines are). But given how fast they move normally and their line of sight teleportation. A player can peace out into the water on most maps when under threat (provided they have Lazarus Chowder or SCUBA Tanks) and run/teleport around the circumference of the map about as fast as they could cross it's diameter with a ptera. The Enforcer's squishiness should not be underestimated. Learning to not get mobbed up on and to pulse/teleport away when it happens will help keep it alive. They also can only be force healed by Owls or Deadons. Even though they eat element dust you can't force feed them it to heal them. You also can't use the scout to heal them as you can with Meks. So if you get really messed up on one your only real option (especially as a bob) is to go hide somewhere with it and wait for it to recover naturally. However when a tamed enforcer does die it drops it's own blue print. Just like when you tamed it to begin with. Except that levels applied actually changed (raise) the requirements to craft it again on that blue print. Quality of blue prints can very a lot. But if you hard search for a good enforcer blue print you can get one that starts out with high end journeyman material requirements but has low end ascendant stats. This is really important if you have to craft it again later on. Because the requirements material wise for a high level enforcer can get unreasonably high. But a good enforcer can be excellent for OSD's and Ele veins. Definitely not solo. But it's really good at dealing with those smaller corrupted creatures that tend to slip through and attack the nodes or drops, without also damaging the nodes or drops. Another thing they are good for is gathering dust. They seem to gather insane amounts of dust from resources that give dust compared to anything else. However a mantis is still probably better on balance. Especially now that Mantis can be bred. Enforcers are really good for building. They can cling to virtually and surface, sit almost perfectly still as far as mounted view modes are concerned while not moving. Can make the most minor adjustments to their position. The versatility and precision in positioning with an enforcer can make them indispensable for the avid builder. They're also a living moveable vault. You can cling them to a wall or ceiling and treat them just like you would a vault. Except if you ever need that storage in a different place. You can offload their inventory and move them to where they need to be. They cannot be pin coded of course. But this is actually one of their best and highest uses. Because you can cling them to the most obscure surfaces "too high above ground" where they are out of anyone's normal render range, and where it would be damn near impossible to put a bury-able tame or vault. That's important on PvP servers. Because cheats like ESP can allow a player to see all buried tames. But even those pretty much only work within render range. So if you find a crevice in an overhang that's "too high above ground" building wise and far out of normal render range, you can hide a cache of fresh starts stuff for months provided you keep your enforcer fed.
Is there videos like this for all the map? Any plans on doing the explorer notes like you have done the Island? Loving the content keep up the hard work.
This was really well made...I enjoyed hearing all your thoughts about Extinction. I'm new to ARK, I've nearly finished my first year of playing and it's a shame I've come in at the end. Since I've been unable to collect all the explorer notes, I began watching your videos. Basically, I wanted to tell you how much I'm enjoying them but was also wondering in what order should I watch them after the Island and do you have any others that would help me understand the lore. Thank you again.
Thanks for the comment. Check out the survival stories for our reenactment of the story. We're working on Aberration now, but the island and scorched are out :) ruclips.net/p/PLbI9iPz34TRhSv3EK7bO_ktN1Szfza9MK
I cannot express the joy I had, when you said: “like a megalania” - I swear it’s always “like a deinonychus” or “like a Thylacoleo”, as if the world forgot The Island. 😂
One thing about defense units that might be worth mentioning: the real threat they pose is to your starter base and any passive tames in it; they will break right through your walls and just go ham inside your base. They will trash any and all crafting stations within striking distance. If you're in a starter base in Sanctuary, on the ground, you might want to log off before going for smoke or snack breaks... or else build somewhere they can't reach you.
Extinction is my favourite extinction and my two favourite flyers are the snow owl and the managarmr or however you say it also love the vid u just got urself a sub :D

I just wanted to say, I found your channel when trying to find lore on this game and I'm a fan! I'm about to enter Extinction for the first time today, after spending the past 5 months, breeding, catching, and fighting our way through All of the Island (Gamma - Alpha for everything), Ascentions, Scorthed Earth, and just finished Abberation yesterday! I am excited to die, breed, lose tames, gain allies, and put on the best live show I can after this! Wishing you the best! Your channel is awesome!
