ARK: Evolution Guides - The Island

- Hey everyone!
After spending way too much time working on this video, with lots of server issue distractions along the way, I've finally finished it. From here on, these dedicated map videos will be known as "Evolution Guides!" In these videos I will try my best to explain and show relevant information pertaining to all of the 9 official maps in ARK.
The next Evolution Guide video will feature Scorched Earth. Keep in mind, this doesn't necessarily mean that will be my next video, just that it will be the next "map" video.
Lastly, I'd like to thank my friends on Vanilla Evolved for helping in certain sections of this video. They made some clips a whole lot easier, and without them certain shots would not have been possible. Thanks Nacho, Tyler, & Kaiden.

good video👍
Do you do any other reviews? I like to look at things to see if it's worth the play time and its definitely good.
I just watched a 20 minute tutorial for a game I already know how to play.
It was worth it.
Yea
Me too
same lmao
Same
Yup right there with you
Man this video is criminally underrated
all of his videos are!!
Exactly this should be arrested
This is super helpful

Facts bro, everyone of his are.
I’m starting on beating the whole game, from the island to genesis with my friend, so your gonna be a great help
Im going to be going in solo, island to genesis. Sadly im going to be avoiding scorched as there's no final boss meaning theres not really much point of me being their
@@man_like_forg1121 There’s a boss on SE tho, the Manticore. Even if you don’t intend on fighting it i‘d still go there just to get wyverns since thats the only map where you can (aside from crystal isles)
@@cherryrook8684 ragnarok exists so ill just go there. There aint no ascension so there aint much point tbh
@@man_like_forg1121 I would say to reconsider you at least got to collect the notes there to know the whole story and you can just pretend the manticore is the final if a boss is all you want
Just started doing this a few weeks ago myself with a buddy, good luck man
I’m a really old player but god I love these videos lol
The game is so different now it doesn't feel the same in a good and bad way.
Me to
Hey, I think I have some advice for the Redwood biome that is important for new players. If you’re on a flying mount, when you come to the Redwoods, I strongly suggest that you either fly around it or over the forest, not through it. Thylacoleo can climb really high and will knock you off your mount mid-flight.
(It happened to me twice and I was lucky enough to survive thanks to my Argentavis.)
Bonus note, if you are having trouble getting over it in one Stam bar, there a mountain clearing in the middle of the red woods that is easily accessible. Land on that mountain's peak, it's usually not super populated with dinos and is safe from thylas and the like. Also stamina is a must have if you are going into the center of the map from the south zones
I’m my opinion this video was well balanced and perfect. Ark was extremely difficult for me and the videos out here don’t do what you just did. Thank you for this
Great video, as always the editing is on point.
Thanks Lizard!
This is by far one of the best gaming videos I've ever seen. Informative, coherent, well edited. Well done.
Me watching this while only at level 25:
Guess I've still got a lot left to do...
Im lvl 9 and watching this
ARK Devs Should be really looking for this man to do lore-related things
He has done the survivor stories
You are the absolute best guide master. Your explanations are precise, concise and go to the point and your imagery is the best. It is evident you take a long time to edit and to present the info in an orderly way. Thanks so much for all your hard work! I really dont know why you dont have thousands more subs! You deserve it!
Awaiting anxiously for the Aberrant stories of the survivors!
3:16 what are the odds you're using the same tree and sap setup that I'm using on my own playthrough?! Wow!
Makes me want to go from start to finish now. Thank you.
This is definitely a great quality video. Impressive montage, lots of information, brutal music, I love it. You gained a sub
Imagine the megatherium getting a buff every time there is a bug in the game. Constant buff lol
I appreciate this video because there is a lot of information rather than listing everything you should be doing. I really enjoyed this, essentially just like reading the wiki but its extremely streamlined and only useful info, awesome!
I legit watched this 4 times it’s sooo good. Please do more maps like genesis I am excited to hear!
This tutorial is worth the time. It covers the most basic and important stuff, you got my like and comment for youtube algorithm.
I'm a new player and this video was the most informative I've seen....thank you so much.
This was a cool video man 👌 I've just started ark this month and I'm loving it!
this video provided me with all the information i needed, and some, this was amazing and i really appreciate the work put into this
Never felt more excitement from watching a tutorial, THIS WAS EPIC!!!
This is one of the best guides for an ark island I have ever seen, thanks for putting all the effort in :)
As someone who has never completed the island (or moved onto any other map) I think I can give this a shot.
Perhaps you could have added something else to the creatures section for those REALLY new to the game.
The creature can generally (there are exceptions) be lumped into three main categories based on their aggro.
1. Those that will never attack the player. These usually include most of the smaller creatures such as Dodos, Lystros, Archaeopteryx, Coelocanths, and such (one notable exception is the Microraptor however).
2. Those that attack when provoked. This mostly applies to larger herbivores such as trikes, stegos, brontos, doedicurus, titanosaurs, and other such creatures (however creatures like Gigantopithecus and Therizinosaurus will attack when you get too close).
3. Those that attack on sight. Usually including most of the carnivores such as dilos, raptors, carnos, rexes, gigas, sarcos, Kapros, Megalodon, the list goes on and on.
Very good point! I should have done that.
3:04 “recommended only experienced survivors” me as a beach bob who chose to live in the swamps for some reason 🤣🤣🤣
Your video's are amazing, easy to understand, very, very well made (you make the game look beautiful) 10/10 dude!
I feel like this video has brought me back to another life.
New favorite ark channel hands down.
This is the first video I've seen from you, but It's an instant Like + Sub from me. Great work man, super useful and well made
Haha finally found the video i was looking for....a break down of the island not a really long play through series. Thank you
Best! Walk through. Ever!!! Just started out again after not playing for a few years and after watching this I'm so excited to play again
doesn't waste my time, gets right into the video, and a great vid to boot. liked + subscribed
Much appreciated!
Honestly i always thought hidden lake was called the fountain of youth due to its spot
This is the best Ark video I have EVER watched!
Built my base on the west side of volcano. I have access to almost all of the content in the game lol. Plus the view is amazing, living next to a waterfall with a giant volcano in the backdrop.
Dude thank you so much I just playing Ark and I'm so lost on this island. I have tried to venture out only ending in my death due to evolution and inexperience. This video at least gives me an idea of where to go and not to go. Also I just play solo
Thank you, these evolution guides are the best map guides for ark
Good, vid. I have a lot of hours put into this game, and this is the best intro to the island I've seen. Congrats
Thanks Roehon :P
I'll second that.good job. Looking forward to future content.
Neddy: "Most beaches are *relatively* safe, save for south zone 2 and 3, east zone 2 and 3, all the north zones and some times west zone 3"
Me, rapidly running out of fingers to count on: *eyes widening, sweats profusely*
Great video! Do you have any setting recommendations for a 3 player world? Me and my friends are going to do our first play through together
Yeah, actually I have a video on how to make your own dedicated server if you're interested in that. As far as settings go, I have some hand-crafted settings that I've been building for a year or two, that I use on my servers. Also, please do consider subscribing if you find my stuff to be helpful!
Server Tutorial: ruclips.net/video/TCAbuTh6YJw/видео.html&t
Vanilla Evolved: ruclips.net/video/XfT3E27GhEE/видео.html
Alredy have subscribed and seen your dedicated server video! I’m actually planning on getting ark on steam when it goes on sale because the epic games version has been giving me lots of issues
I’ll also make sure to check out your server
Awesome. We look forward to having you.
You have proven every reason y I play ark truly amazing great editing
That's a really nice thing to say. Thanks tyler.
Np Ned
The biomes refer to the animals that will spawn in a given location, not necessarily the terrain. Weatertop, while looking like grassland, is actually jungle, and the northwestern peninsula south of the snow area is actually mountain, despite being on a beach.
Also, in terms of difficulty, it is: Herbivore Island, Beach, Jungle, Grassland, Mountain, Swamp, Redwood, Carnivore Island, Snow. The jungle lacks the rex and allosaurs of the grasslands, and it is consistently hot, rather than alternating between hot and cold. But, it is far worse than the beach.
This video has saved my friend so many times
Awesome guide vid, it really helped out.
I can't wait to watch more
This is so cool!
Thanks!! I'm glad you found it to be helpful in some way.
why doesnt this have like a million views? as a noob ive been scouring youtube trying to find a good info tutorial but all i get are poorly written and poorly edited videos, anyways you sir are a legend
THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was looking for a video just like this and kept finding trash videos of people showing me what Dino’s to tame.
Im engram level 44 and feel like ive progressed in no way since level 15. Thanks for this video i can already tell im going to end up with 1000 hours on this game
Listening to this is like having Jesse Eisenberg explain the basics of Ark. For reference, I'm not opposed to this. 😅
Nice work Ned
Thanks for watching!
This is really high quality well done man :)
Tip : if you are gonna build in a jungle in pvp I recommend painting your base forest green
10/10 best Island summary I've seen
Awesome video again !! I love all ur videos , thanks uuuuuu 😊👍👌🏆🏆🏆
Thumbs up the video y’all so our mans can benefit for this easy to follow and professional af video!!
Very informative. Definitely saving.
It feels live a movie if you watched without skipping till the end
that was an awesome guide dude! +subscriber
Far better than most of the videos I have seen!
I've found that killing Trilobite on the beaches or in shallow ocean is a relatively safe way to mine Oil and Silica Pearls with the occasionnal Black Pearl drop. (It's also a great way to mine Chitin for those who don't want to venture inland yet.)
Great video Hope you get more and more views. Please continue with these amazin videos
I moved from beach to the grass land by the south zone metal mountain on the lip connecting towards the 80ish longitude on south border it’s connected to a channel leading to the heart of the island through the swamp and leads through the red woods and around mountains going deep
I love how you can see abb and scorched during that finale cutscenes, man people missed out on the details
Tysm for this amazing video!!
WOW, you spelled Troodon correctly, kudos for that!
This was an awesome video!
you have done great work man👍
Ok but I have a question that i've been begging for an answer to! Do you have to beat the gamma beta AND alpha overseer to get all the extra levels or can you just do alpha and be done with it? And also do you have to beat all 3 versions of each boss to unlock all the TEK crafting recipes. I'm at the point where I can take them on I just want to know if I can skip the extra nonsense and just go straight for the hardest versions and get everything.
Not sure if this will be useful seeing as it's a month late gamma overseer will give you 5 extra levels beta 10 and alpha 15 and you can just do alpha for the full 15 I never do beta or gamma and as for tek yes certain tek items are unlocked behind the alpha version so I'd reccomend doing them if you can
@@valkyriesmilk6697 Great on that first part. But the second part I meant. Do you have to also do (For example) the gamma and beta brood mother or can I just do the alpha brood mother and unlock all the tek she offers. (I'm taking a break from ark so don't worry about it being a month later)
@@Guardian-of-Light137 ah gotcha and you can just do alpha for all the unlocks 19 rexes with roughly 30k hp 900 ish damage at least a 100 armor saddle a yuty for the courage and you're set for all three bosses with alpha dragon you may lose about 6 rexes normally this is assuming you play with official stats I'd highly advise using theris if possible as they take 30% less fire damage from dragon and are smaller so sometimes he won't even breathe on them also for tek cave they're easier to manage as a solo player
@@valkyriesmilk6697 Yeah im aware of the strats just needed to know if I could skip unnecessary parts thank you so much.
@@Guardian-of-Light137 no problem good luck survivor!
Ngl the best starting spot is East 1 (there can be Rexes, Carnos and Raptors), build a raft as soon as possible and go to Herbivore Island. There's a lot of metal and basically free tames. Oh and where you spawn there is a cave with crystal
Wish these have closed captions so I can take notes when i begin to play it
What the hell man this is underrated! Great video have a new sub and like!
Who the heck would dislike the greatest video ever
Underrated as hell
Wow great vid, subbed.
How to underwater:
Tame a breeding pair of icys.
Level them killing babies and lystro buff
Breed, and imprint babies.
First gen should imprint at 120% movement, level it to 200% movement, then dump into stamina, and maybe some health to be about 300hp.
Now anything that can threaten you, youll be out of render distance before they even finish their attack animation.
Abuse ur 200% movement speed icy to farm deep sea crates and hard sea cave crates with no challenge or threat
I got ark free with EPIC a while back. played it some.. decided to buy it on steam for mods and the DLC stuff...
it's downloading now.. Excited to take it seriously..
Wow this video is incredible
Dude you helped really well the thing that caught my eye was the point in southern shores it had metal nodes and crystal and many more is it in a cave or what? If its accesable i have to get on over there...
I first played ark on scorched earth👍
Is it a sign of good luck that I saw a unicorn on the other side of the mini Florida thing bay when I spawned in
probably
Great video!
This helped a lot! I’m new to the game and it’s hard to find someone to help me out
Astounding video
Superb guide
Alpha vid, man! Keep going=)
As a new player this is helpful
Just got into this game seriously like two months ago currently built up to take on the beta brood mother. I have enough artefacts built up to fight her four times so I can try all levels and one wipe run if needed. I want to stream it on twitch didn't know if this still has the appeal seems it does.
You deserve more subs.
Info: megapiranha is a real species but isn’t gigantic 3 foot long Titan, instead it’s 28 inches long, it’s also a real life piranha, which isn’t anywhere as hostile as the fantasy piranha… as in they could be chilled with without to many issues. Almost all creatures on the island are real with bosses being some of the only creatures that aren’t real, and also many creatures being oversized versions of the real thing.
All fake creatures include:
Defense unit
Attack drone
Megapithecus
Overseer
Dragon
Yeti
on mobile there is the royal griffin
Brood mother
Unicorn
Real animals & info about the real thing:
Read my 2 replies to myself, RUclips didn’t allow longer comments.
Achatina - they never got big but there is over 200 living species.
Allosaurus - much smaller at 28 feet instead of the possibility 30 to 40 foot long ones on the island.
Ammonite - there are over 10,000 species in this group.
Angler - anglerfish are far smaller but you probably already knew that.
Ankylosaurus - actually didn’t have heavy armor, and is a bit smaller.
Araneo - legit just spider, there are over 45,000 known living species btw.
Archaeopteryx - a far smaller 1 ft 8 inch avian dinosaur.
Argentavis - actually, other than the fact it looks more like a falcon or eagle than a condor or vulture it’s pretty accurate, slightly oversized and it can’t carry people, but close.
Arthroplura - a 5 foot long millipede, it eats plants and don’t spit acid, as far as we know.
Baryonyx - another somewhat accurate dinosaur, it is actually about the same size as the allosaurus in real life.
Basilosaurus - you probably forgot about this creature.
Beelzebufo - far smaller but still the largest known toad/frog like amphibian known.
Brontosaurus - they made it look like a brachiosaurus although it likely looked more like an apatosaurus or diplodocus.
Carbonemys - near accurate turtle.
Carnotaurus - it’s smaller than in game but is otherwise accurate, but it was faster than anything else, save for the ornithomimids like gallimimus.
Castoroides - giant beaver, 2.2 meters long.
Chalicotherium - 2.2 meters tall, so a bit smaller than in ark.
Cnidaria - this is has over 11,000 living species of aquatic animals found in both salt and freshwater, jellyfish don’t even make up the majority of them with only 200 living species known.
Coelacanth - there are actually 80 species of coelacanth, they are less of a living fossil as they have changed a lot, living fossils don’t actually exist btw as all animals have changed, what scientists mean when they say living fossils are creatures which have barely changed their appearance over long periods of time, there are 2 living species.
Compsognathus - they are actually accurate except it might be that real compys are 100% covered in feathers.
Daeodon - this is accurately sized, obviously it doesn’t have the magic ability to heal allies, it probably ate it’s allies actually.
Dilophosaurus - growing to 8 feet tall, 20 feet long, and not spitting venom or having a frill, the Jurassic Park rip-off we get in ark is actually very very inaccurate, it’s actually smaller than the Jurassic Park dilophosaurus making it even more inaccurate.
Dimetrodon - it actually stood more upright in life and likely had whiskers and was pretty fast and deadly.
Dimorphodon - this is one that’s pretty accurate.
Diplocaulus - did anyone know this thing was even in the game?
Diplodocus - they might have actually got this thing accurate, other than the fact it’s tail would mess you up worse than getting hit by 10 trucks in half the time.
Direbear - the short faced bear is a bit different in appearance but same deal.
Direwolf - was a dog actually and not a wolf.
Dodo - you already know these were real.
Doedicurus - this roid armadillo is real.
Dung beetle - there are over 5,000 living species of dung beetle.
Dunkleosteus - kinda inaccurate, but is accurate enough, it probably couldn’t break rocks in life but it sure could crush bone.
Electrophorus - there are 3 species of electric eel, of which all live in freshwater.
Equus - horses are real animals so you already knew this one.
Eurypterid - there are approximately 250 known species of sea scorpion all of which are extinct.
Gallimimus - this is a really fast probability very heavily feathered ornithomimid.
Giant bee - there are giant bees in real life, the largest being Magachile Pluto, also called Wallace’s giant bee, no where near as big but giant bee is in the name.
Giganotosaurus - it was probably pretty powerful in life but wasn’t god, it grew to around 45 feet long and was a heavy bleed dealer, causing victims to bleed to death rather than straight up killing them, like other allosaurs and carcharodontosaurs, because they hunted creatures that were immune to raw damage, being giant sauropods.
Gigantopithicus - it didn’t look like a bigfoot, it looked like a gorilla or orangutan (my money is on the orangutan appearance) think Louie from the live action The Jungle Book, he was a gigantopithicus.
Hesperornis - the flightless duck penguin is a real prehistoric extinct bird from the Cretaceous.
Hyaenodon - was not a hyena, but had similar teeth, hence the name hyena tooth/ hyaenodon (don meaning tooth).
Ichthyornis - yes, it was legit a seagull of the Cretaceous.
Ichthyosaurus - pretty accurate although in life was smaller and you couldn’t ride it.
Iguanodon - another pretty accurate dinosaur, although a bit smaller than in life.
Kairuku - these things were actually taller than shown in the game.
Kaprosuchus - the boar croc is real and would likely do the same as in game, pick you up and chomp you to death.
Kentrosaurus - bit exaggerated compared to the real thing.
Leech - you knew these were real, there are near 700 know species of leech, funny enough there saltwater, freshwater, and terrestrial leeches and a good number of them are actually herbivores and don’t drink blood, only a few drink human blood.
Leedsichthys - I forgot these were in the game as well, they are also likely not as hostile as in game.
Liopleurodon - actually pretty accurate other than what they like eating and then also teleporting out of existence afterward, this is another one of those creatures that make you go “that existed?”
Lystrosaurus - they are pretty accurate, but may have had fur in real life.
Mammoth - they are exaggerated and don’t have 4 tusks.
Manta - sting rays and mantarays are real, but not necessarily the hybrid of the two being mantas, there are 630 known living species.
Megalania - it’s now called varanus prisca, or Varanus instead of Megalania prisca or Magalania, so Varanus is your giant monitor lizard.
Megaloceros - funny thing, it’s not an elk but it’s called the Irish elk, also accurate animal.
Megalodon - it was originally called carcharodon Megalodon when it was compared to great whites, not related to great whites anymore, now it’s otodus Megalodon and it’s not thought to be as closely related to great whites as previously thought, you probably knew this fact.
Megalosaurus - likely didn’t have feathers and was slightly smaller than allosaurus.
Meganeura - eagle sized dragonfly, probably wouldn’t mess with a human in real life.
Megatherium - a nearly
accurate animal, it is a giant ground sloth.
Mesopithicus - another near accurate animal, it’s an extinct old world monkey and would have lived in high up trees, weirdly, ark didn’t put them in trees.
Microraptor - a bit smaller than what is shown in game.
Mosasaurus - it was actually 50 feet long instead of the 150 feet long showed in game.
Moschops - this is a weird reptile which is pretty accurate.
Onyc - this is one of the most primitive known bats, also it’s full name is onychonycteris finneyi.
Otter - there are 13 species of living otters, most are freshwater species.
Oviraptor - this is a pretty accurate animal, kinda.
Ovis - there are 7 species of ovis, also called sheep.
Pachy - this is a pretty accurate animal but it was a bit larger in real life.
Pachyrhinosaurus - pretty accurate save for the pheromones.
Paraceratherium - this is not a giraffe for the last time people, but it is accurate.
Parasaurolophus - this thing was actually about the same size as a tyrannosaurs in real life compared to the quarter size of the tyrannosaurs in game.
Pegomastax - this is a heterodontosaurus, and not it likely didn’t steal things in real life.
Pelagornis - they are actually pretty accurate, but you couldn’t ride them in real life, they might actually be smaller than in real life as well.
Phiomia - another near 100% accurate animal.
Megapiranha - extinct and not quite as big as in game but it was big.
Plesiosaur - there are currently 194 known genera of pleiosaurs, not all of these are long necked but the largest of long neck plesiosaurs was elasmosaurus, which was actually smaller than what is shown in game.
Procoptodon - the giant kangaroo is accurate.
Pteranodon - they are surprisingly accurate in game but there are some inaccuracies, the obvious being the crest and wings, as the crest didn’t have bit on top and was just a long stick like structure that tapered to a point behind the head, it’s wings are also inaccurate with the membrane not being as large as in life, last inaccuracy is how it takes off, it uses its wings instead of it’s feet to push off the ground unlike birds, however in ARK it lifts it’s wings like bird wings in order to flap off the ground although it would have launched itself with it’s wings pushing up with it’s feet then taking off.
Pulmonoscorpius - these giant scorpions owned the beeches and their ancestors owned the jungle, now scorpions own the desert and were forced out of the jungles by spiders.
Purlovia - this is a therapsid which existed before dinosaurs, it eats plants, unlike in game where it’s portrayed as carnivorous.
Quetzal - in real life this thing looked more like a giraffe with a beak that was longer than a human, when it was in the sky it looked like a Quetzalcoatlus, but it actually would have spent more time on the ground using flying to escape, and also it would have attacked anything it could swallow whole… humans are just on the upper size limit of what it could swallow so if these things were accurate in ark, first, they would be everywhere, and second, the game would be near unplayable because these would go around swallowing players by the dozens.
Raptor - the island raptor is a utahraptor, it is a bit taller, only a little, and lacks feathering, but is otherwise accurate enough.
Rex - this thing could 1 shot a giga, and it could 1 shot itself, and it could 1 shot a quetz, and it could 1 shot anything actually… as long as it hit the neck, because there wouldn’t be a neck, this thing could crush an anky with it’s bite force with little resistance from the armor.
Sabertooth - there are many sabertooth cat species, but the smilodon is the most popular, this thing isn’t a hundred percent accurate as the real thing would have had a spotted texture and a slightly different body plan.
Sabertooth salmon - salmon with saberteeth were a real thing and it’s a shame they are extinct.
Sarco - giant dino eating croc, yep, and it’s pretty accurate save for the nose teeth and weird bulbing at the end of the snout.
Spinosaurus - it’s pretty accurate compared to some other games and media surprisingly, although they butchered much of it.
Stegosaurus - is pretty accurate, only significant inaccuracy is the 3rd row of spikes on the tail.
Tapejara - surprisingly accurate.
Terror bird - there are a few species, this is pretty close to phorusrhacos with the size of titanis.
Therizinosaurus - bit inaccurate, it looks more like a ground sloth than a therizino, the actual thing had a longer neck, smaller head, and more pointed beak,
Thylacoleo - the actual thing is not even close to the size of the one in ark.
Titanoboa - I could legit insult this thing for ages for being a failure hybrid of a cobra and a viper instead of being a boa constrictor, the real thing actually preferred fish as a food source.
Titanomyrma - this thing is in real life around the size of a hummingbird, the largest hummingbird is about the size of the palm of your hand, ants shouldn’t be allowed to get that big, probably why they are extinct.
Titanosaur - there are 40 known species of titanosaur, the largest of which is argentinosaurus huinculensis.
Triceratops - compare the one in ark to the one in Jurassic Park, as of this moment Jurassic Park’s triceratops is still accurate.
Trilobite - there are approximately 20,000 known trilobite species, they are some of the most successful animals to ever live on earth, living from beginning of the Cambrian to the end of the Permian, from 521 million years ago to 252 million years ago, which as far as I can say, is pretty impressive, the largest trilobite is isotelus rex, there are still animals similar to trilobites alive today, like isopods, chitons, water pennies, and tadpole shrimps.
Troodon - this is a relative of utahraptor, but it’s smaller, they were not venomous in real life but other than that they are fairly accurate.
Tusoteuthis - the tuso is very inaccurate but if similar to the vampire squid they would have grown to 6 meters long, if similar to the modern giant squid they would have been 11 meters long, the modern giant squids upper size limits are likely 13 meters, and the colossal squid could have gotten to 10 meters.
Wholly rhino - elasmotherium is pretty accurate.
Yutyrannus - it was more like 30 feet instead of 30 meters long, and it couldn’t summon dinosaurs.
Wooooooow I have a long way to go.
i like to build near or outside the lava cave. theres 2 metal rocks in there that you can get and at the very start theres crystal. sometimes you have to clear a huge wave someone left tho. or sometimes its just 10 max creatures which i can kill with a crossbow.
im a noob tho games very hard
No idea why i watched a guide on a game ive been playing for 4 years
this is probably a stupid question but say i beat the brood mother on alpha do i still get the tek grams from the lesser versions? I have been looking for the answer to this for like a month and still dont know. great vid by the way.

Search up how to change your dinos levels. That should guarantee that your dinos are in increments of 5 or you can even change it to be higher.
DogeyBoi But if ive done it and press “ join world“ all settings reset....
