as someone who has an on/off relationship with ark and has basically only played The Island in any significant capacity the idea of having metal tools, an Argy, Fortified base and irrigation by day 4 is fucking crazy lmao
His stats are more boosted than the ones you were prolly playing on. Hes getting 600 metal from a metal pick. Not that it's a bad thing, anyone can play however they like, just saying it so you dont feel bad about yourself lol.
You'd have to increase your rates as someone already stated A lot of the times these videos have modified ratings for better solo gameplay and to not spend 3 hours (What would be 3 in game days if left unchanged) trying to tame, grow, or grind materials with/for dinos. Not to mention how quickly you burn through materials and have only little weight to care them, so modifying the rates to where it's manageable but not outright broken is an exception by most players that aren't trying to be hardcore.

I don’t know if you are reading this but instead of the constant met farm go to the ice or desert cave a or even tek cave to do a meat run , you will get a big amount with no need to farm again for a long time, good vid anyway❤😊
Excellent video. I love Extinction too. Honestly, it’s so much more fun to fight the Desert Titan with a Lightning Wyvern (no native to Extinction), but it’s also super easy to do if you have 6 good level argentavis too. As a console player, I cannot imagine living in the city (it lags so badly) also, those are some nice Gigas.
in case nobody has said it yet: when damaging something for torpor and taming, wether it's a club or a sling or tranquillizers, you always get a huge boost in torpor per hit when aiming at their head. the giga's knockout about 1/3 into the video would have been a lot quicker
I thought that only goes for dinos with head shot multipliers(like raptors) since torpor is usually based on damage dealt, since that's how torpor scales with better gear?
@thecyanpanda241 i don't quite remember anymore, I have noticed that some dinos don't have headshot multipliers like ankylos since their head is all covered in plates, but pretty sure gigas do have it. I'd have to test if maybe with tranq arrows even armored heads are more susceptible but you're probably better off just looking it up on the wiki, I might very well be wrong
In my (very little) experience with extinction, I've found that you really only need the titans for the gamma king titan fight. Well only on sigleplayer settings tho! I learned that when my giga army died as well...... Soooooo, that can save alot of time :)
WOW, it is odd to think that everything I am doing on my server is working its way to this, wow that is one of the biggest things you can do in ARK. You amazed me with your skill at the game you are a great gamer to be able to beat the game

Me when i start a new run on the island: 1. Tame a moschops, 2. Go on a brutal killing spree with my overpowered max stat level up amount every time it levels up moschops, 3. Get recources 4. Get tools 5. Same as number 2 , finally 6. Make a base.
