- Опубликовано: 10 июн 2024
- It's my last Tears of the Kingdom video on the channel for now, but I really wanted to do a video on the bosses before my break! I made sure to only include bosses known about pre-release in the thumbnail (Ganondorf is in his form used in his render & Colgera was shown in multiple frames in pre-release trailers).
Please enjoy!

Fun fact: If you’re out of splash fruit for mucktorok, you can use regular chuchu jelly.
sidon???
Just use any water based weapons or objects that can splash water
Or opals
Or use the Zonai device Hydrant. Clears up all of the surrounding gunk.
Yeah I attached a hydrant to my shield. And fired chu chu jelly at the beast.
My favorite thing about totk is that all the enemies feel like they’re on your playing field, like throwing things, yiga using zonai tech, and of course, demon daddy ganondorf perfect dodging.
GanonDILF.
I likes the ganondorf fight because he not only did the gloom, but some attackes “permanently” removed a heart, showing it crack and dissapear from your hearts bar
They can also instantly break ur shield like the hylian shield at full durability 😭
@@chroblok_ I just duped
that’s gloom damage
@@ticklingballsmore like gloom destruction tbh
@@ticklingballsgloom damage is in all his attacks, he’s talking about when he starts sending and shooting malice to you, that malice can two-shot any shield including the hylian shield if you block it and if that malice hits you a heart will break permanently meaning that you have lost that heart for the rest of the boss fight and there’s no way to get it back, no sundelion and no light will bring it back, just like in the beginning of the game where he takes all your hearts and only leaves 3 hearts
I will wholeheartedly admit when I first encountered a Frox and it turned to face me with the nightmarish music picking up I very audibly went "What the hell is that?!"
Frox's have no right to have such a terrifying sounding theme. It's straight up sleep paralysis demon music.
@@BillySYTI literally avoided fighting them until a few days ago because they just freaked me out
My initial reaction to it was kicking it's ass
In one of my first encounters with a frox I didn’t even see it. I just saw that the game was auto-saving and ran away
You can actually play dead man’s volley with Ganondorf. If you hit his projectiles (the ones that permanently take away your hearts) with the master sword. You send them back at him.
He perfect dodged my every attack so I thought I legit could not hit him. When I discovered you could Dead Man's Volley I felt like I discovered a lost treasure and turned the tide of the battle. Felt so good
@@Inkyinkdamn, I just double flurry rushed
TENNIS IS BACK IN ZELDA WOOOOOOH
@@guffthebir72 I just parried
I never knew I could do that until now, because I actually defeated him only three days ago. Feel free to congratulate me whenever you feel like it.
FYI: Dazzlefruit blinds Frox, sends him straight into his “disabled” mode and eliminates the need to wait on an inhale.
So does a Keese arrow to the eye
@@GoofyGE3Kyou can shoot it with normal arrow but its hard
5:12-5:15 that’s a very good point. An interesting thing to note is that nowhere in the boss’s name is the word “Ganon” or “Ganondorf” mentioned. Its title is “Demon Dragon: Draconified Demon King”. Not “Ganon Dragon” or “Draconified Ganon/Ganondorf”. Like you say, Ganon and Ganondorf are gone, and the boss’s name reflects that
I imagine it's probably me reaching or grasping at straws, but I think it'd be fitting if the reason Ganondorf truly lost was because he underestimated the power of becoming a Divine Dragon & thought he could control it, when in reality it feels like it controls him. I don't deny that he has some semblance of power in the boss fight, but he'd have had a better shot beating us had he stayed Gerudo.
Also I agree, Demon King Ganondorf was the best boss in the game. I beat the game for the first time two days ago and I (somehow) managed to beat him first try, even though he’d permanently whittled my health down to four hearts. Nintendo hit it out the park with this final boss, it felt like a mano e mano duel with the Demon King, where he can use your own abilities against you. And the moment you finally defeat him is oh so satisfying
@@BillySYTI honestly feel like you can draw comparisons between Rauru’s hubris and Ganondorf’s. They play out in different contexts, sure, but they were both their characters’ hamartia. Rauru’s hubris ultimately led to his ultimate sacrifice and his kingdom being doomed to an endless cycle of peace and then cataclysm. Ganondorf’s hubris, however, caused him to refuse to accept a loss to Link, and sacrifice his consciousness just to destroy Link and the kingdom of Hyrule. In the end, that actually made it a much easier task for Link to defeat him once and for all
@@BillySYT Zelda and Ganondorf's dragon forms probably had some control because it seems like a dragon form slightly reflects your nature and turns it into instinct.
The fact that mucktorok dries while we literally defeat him with water is just weird
...You make a very good point.
Maybe we sprayed him with Salt water? That could draw out all his freshwater
@@smirglepapier531 the water sidons has is just like t comes outta nowhere which means its fresh and if it is really fresh he should havent dried
@@DefDefinitly_NotMe No, we literally have no clue if Sidon summons Salt- or Freshwater. And considering that, like you said, Mucktorock dries out while being attacked with water, we have more evidence for Sidons water being saltwater
@@smirglepapier531 welll you kinda have a point "-"
I ... HATE ... MUCKTOROK!!!!!!
I 100% agree bottom of my list
I felt not because you could do bullet time because of the low gravity and exploitable when shooting it’s octo form
SAME ITS THE WORST BOSS, LAST IN THE LIST
@@hoangnampham4928 If you’re in the depths fight you can’t go in bullet time…
For the rematches: Shoot Opals at it. They cause a water explosion. Also, when it's running in Octopus form you can shoot its back and It will fall.
Sense of self does not translate to ones nature. Ganon may have lost his sense of self but if he did have Malice in him, his nature and Malice's nature are still strong.
There is gloom AND malice coming off of the dragon
You may know this now, but in case you didn't, you can aim Sidon's sage ability in the same manner as if you're aiming with the master sword to fire a skyward strike c:
I'll definitely try using it next time I rematch Muktorok, gracias ^^
@@BillySYTyou are most welcome 😊
There is also another benefit to his ability, mainly keeping Link's body doused in water which really helps in hot places like the Death Mountain Depths and empowers Zora weapons due to their 'Water Warrior' perk.
And that doesn't throw the weapon? Damn I bet you that's how they wanted you to clear the sludge blocking the waterfall on the right of the Water Temple.
I LOVED the boss music for Moragia! It was so right for the battle! It was done WAAAY to quick though 😢
We needed a second phase with that battle, for sure.
Yes defenetly, it honestly felt like an easier version of a Lynel, Hynox, or a Stone Talus.
Ironically, Lynel Bows counter Gleeoks and Gleeok parts deal heavy damage against Lynels. I def recommend you try and scout out all the gleeoks and kill them. Not even for treasure, just because I always have fun with these dragon fights. You can even learn a pattern (I won’t spoil) that actually tones the fear factor down, but still keeps them as dangerous.
Don't you worry - I fully intend to kill all the Gleeoks when I finally get some free time. I still have four/five videos I need to get edited before the month's end for my holiday, but once that's done, dragons are going down ^^
I can imagine Lynels and gleocks being rivals to be the strongest overworld enemy
And also, lynels and gleeoks seem to be the complete opposite, while lynels can shoot with their bows they only use it when link is out of range because they prefer meele combat while the gleeoks prefer to mantain distance. Lynels won’t ever change strat no matter if they’re close to death, meaning that they’re honorable enemies that will just fight till the end while the gleeoks change their strategy, cowardly getting out of range to strike. Lynels have a good handle of weapons and skill while gleeoks just go by the brute force. You require combat skills to defeat lynels while gleeoks require good equipment. I really love all of these details showing how lynels and gleeoks despite sharing the throne of the strongest enemy they’re quite the opposite
I really appreciate you making the thumbnail spoiler free. I, and a lot of people already finished the game. But I hate people spoiling bosses that weren’t in the marketing. Since there are always people who haven’t seen them yet. Kudos to you for that
when I fought Colgera in the wind temple I used arrows to hit the first 2 weak points and then ran out
learning I could dive through the weakpoints after that felt so intentional and so good
fun fact (spoilers) ganondorf also does your very own charged attacks: the circular sweep with the gloom sword, and EVEN with the spear, he does the same "ha-ha-ha-ha-he-HA!" as link (with a lower voice) and that moment for me was just mindblowing. (tho, seeing him do the charged attack with a club would have been funny)
What caught me off guard in the Demon King final fight was that he can destroy your hearts. When I was fighting him my health was already at half with the rest taken out with Gloom and then he hit me with that ball of energy and I was shocked to see one of the hearts with gloom completely getting destroyed which lowered my health. They really outdid themselves with that fight honestly.
This will be my last Zelda related video until September as I won't be able to record any footage in July/August. Please enjoy, I tried to ensure the thumbnail was spoiler-free by including Ganondorf in his normal form (Which has an officially released render the internet has lusted over), as well as Colgera who was the only boss shown in pre-release trailers.
EDIT: Hello to all the new viewers flooding in! Can't say I was expecting this video to shoot up in views so quickly, but welcome, make yourselves at home, put your feet up, engage in civil discussions in my comments. Have a cuppa tea!
The best way to use sidon is to avoid burning or heat damage
I used him a lot during marbled gohma since I forgot recall existed and used the shield to soak the explosive circle attack
5:44 i think that it did give him the power, and if he still had his mind, he wouls be the toughest battle yet but without his mind, he knows he wants to kill someone deep down, but doesent know what to kill so he tries to rain down gloom onto hyrule by blasting it into the sky
Very much driven by instinct in that brief moment. If anything, it's very reminiscent of the Calamity Ganon, and I was expecting them to be tied together somehow through his transformation.
I dont understand why people are rating the demon dragon so low and colgera so high. They're both atmospheric and spectacle based fights instead of difficult and mechanical. I'd actually argue that the demon dragon is more atmospheric and has better spectacle than colgera, but they're ultimately pretty even in my eyes because t least colgera can be pretty quick where the demon dragon overstays it's welcome just a little. Other than that, pretty good list which I mostly agree with!
Colgera, I would argue, has more mechanical depth given you can either skydive or use your arrows to pick away at it's weak points from below, plus the tornadoes in the second phase & the overall scope of the fight. Whereas the Demon Dragon was fun for what it was, but had to follow up the best boss fight in the game, and for the first two thirds of the fight, it doesn't feel like there's many "stakes". Once you reach the final portion and the sky turns blood red again, that felt like a final boss, but prior to that, it felt like a casual skydive at a fairly subdued dragon who wasn't attempting to hurt me all that much.
Both are amazing but Colgeras theme really helps it to become one of the best bosses in this game
I wish I remember which RUclipsr said it, but they described the dragon fight as a victory lap, and I couldn't agree more. Spectacle to follow the real last fight.
You can aim Sidon’s water attack like you aim the master sword beams, weapon throws and throwing items. But overall I don’t like Sidon’s ability too much, so I use him only for shields and getting my trident wet :$. A very fun way to defeat the mucktorok is combining a homing cart with a hydrant device. I made two of those and they followed the mucktorok around while cleaning the area. It also made it loose the shark form lol
I actually love that Ganondorf deals gloom damage because it puts a fat wrench in a problem with the finality of Calamity Ganon in the last game where if you just have good armor he can’t kill you, because you can just heal endlessly. With Ganondorf that’s not the case, you can’t heal gloom damage unless you use sundelion type cooked gear, which has a bit of thematic relevance too, with the sundelion being like Sonia’s thing, but then additionally that’s not the ultimate catch all, because Ganon can also deal permanent damage like he does at the start of the game which not only makes sense from a story perspective but also further limits how much you can screw up during the fight. I actually wish they further made the fight uncheesable by giving him some kind of counter to your bullet time arrow shots.
I think a good counter would be that using any weapon other than the master sword gets degraded faster.
@@squidlytv Master Sword is already the best weapon against him by far. But like I feel as if he should block the arrows more often.
He could use demon king bow and do a perfect dodge bullet time barrage
Those Gleeok fights are fantastic
Fits given your username lmao
you can actually hit the red gloom things in the ganondorf fight and launch them back at him
Wait really? That would have made things easier
I love that Ganondorf does Gloom damage. That means you can actually die and can't just pause to instantly eat 99 apples and heal all your hearts. There're actual stakes to the fight.
My first Gleeok was the frost one after I got my first fairies and felt brave enough to take it on. When it entered its second phase I just running around dodging icicles thinking it would come down eventually (I just forgot about Recall alright). After almost half an hour doing that, I just walked away lol
Pretty good list, I guess Rito dungeons just got that majestic feeling whether when trying to aboard Vah Medoh or fighting Colgera
I'm definitely excited to fight the other Gleeock Variants, because I can see they've had a lot of effort and care put into them (I just haven't had the time between video editing & prepping for my summer trip), but I could see them moving up to 2nd quite easily.
Let me tell you a story about my first encounter with a Frox.
Now, I had just gotten underground near the Central Mine, right? I was wandering around, looking for light roots, when I see this single orange eyeball shifting around in the darkness. I’m like, alright, big guy, let’s try and get a look.
So I run over to one of the twisty tree things and start climbing up, hoping to get a height advantage on him so I could observe before engaging. I’m looking directly at the tree, not paying attention to what Big Guy is doing (since I was like a mile away; even a Lynel wouldn’t have seen me), when I see a boss health bar appear with “Frox” above it
So I’m like “oh shit oh god oh fuck” and start leaping up the tree, trying to get every inch of height I can as fast as I can, when something comes careening out of nowhere and blasts me straight up in the air. I get just enough air time (and just enough time to look around before the game over screen appears) to see the Frox below me, thirty feet above the ground and about a *shitload* distance away from where he had been ten seconds ago
Still one of the scariest moment I experienced in the game and why I *still* avoid Froxs if I can help it, even when I’ll gleefully farm Gloom Spawn for the bows and clumps
I actually saw a clip on Twitter just recently of someone else who tried to climb from a Frox and had the same experience, horrifying stuff.
I beat Gannondorf after getting all the shrines, fully upgrading the fierce deity armor and fusing the master sword to a silver lynel saber horn and it was incredibly easy. so easy that it sucked a lot of the fun out unfortunately.
I guess that's my only issue with modern Zelda. It's so open-ended to a fault that it's very easy to accidentally spoil your own experience with end-game content. Older Zelda games, even when you had maximum hearts and upgrades, still had the final boss doing significant damage to keep things entertaining.
That's called being over-prepared. But you know, you can always just go down there again to face him with lesser gear. I myself noticed that you can easily cheese him with lynel bows, as with (fire) keese eyes, you can basically kill him in 5-8 arrows (if you have the 5 burst modifier). But nothing forces me to do that, as i can just equip lesser gear and fight him like it's a real fight.
Just like Colgera; you CAN use arrows to shoot his stomach(s?) and easily beat him in less than a minute. But you'd miss the experience of the intended strat to skydive through him and you'd miss the epic soundtrack playing.
I did the same thing I used the same armor and silver lynel master sword😂
You decided to go into the fight with your most OP gear. And you easily won. Which was a choice.
I personally wanted to fight fair, so I did the master sword with a light dragon horn and the basic champion set with amber earrings. So I was able to beat it but it was an actual fight.
5:43 Rauru even said to Ganondor “that pride will be your downfall”, and in search of power he threw himself away resulting in his downfall.
Up I think the reason the yunobo boss fight was so easy is because yunobo was such a nice guy and he was being controlled, we also got quite a nice friendship in both, I wouldn’t want to beat up yunobo tbh
A very good list in my opinion, maybe muctorok higher but since I did his rematch in the depths without the low gravity, it was so annoying.
He's the only boss I haven't rematched yet, and I figured he'd be the most "controversial" placement on the list given he's a main dungeon boss. Is he really that much worse without the low gravity?
@@BillySYT well there's an unsogabke attack without using sidon's ability, making you almost obligated to use water fruit.
The Mucktorok fight is actually quite fun when you utilize hydrant contraptions. My brother made a little homing machine with some hydrants spinning on a large wheel to act as an offense/defense contraption. When I did that fight I only used Sidon's ability and it was a slog during the 2nd half...
7:31 i thought i had to climb the base cus i didnt see zonai materials so i brought all the flame breaker set 💀
Same 😢
The gleeok monster medal was the second one I got, and I can confirm that they are a blast to fight if you don’t just stunlock them with elemental keese eyes. Also there are 4 king gleeoks. Also you can still play volleyball with ganondorf. He just doesn’t volley back.
bro when i first found a frox I hid on a the top of a tree to hide from it but then it jumped up and knocked me down and i had a heart attack
I'm so sorry lmao, that sounds horrifying
I was lucky enough to not know I could actually fight back against the nightmares that are Gloom Hands until *after* the Hyrule Castle fight so I got the full Phantom experience
Also I forgot for most of, if not all the story that I could use the Sage avatars in battle against enemies so heck yeahhhhh baby 1v5 lets do it againnnn
Lucky. I already fought the one under the korok forest. So I already fought one.
Which made the Hyrule Castle boss quite a letdown
I remember defeating the gloom hands on my third encounter when I was caught off guard and phantom ganon spawned and killed me while I was trying to take a pic of him lol. Then I continued the game and couldn’t find the gloom hands anywhere so I didn’t fight phantom ganon
I feel like the Demon Dragon is meant to be a more cinematic fight than a tough boss, since we did fight Ganondorf twice beforehand
I see the DD fight as moreso just an interactive cutscene rather than a boss fight. I like how cinematic it and the following cutscene is, but to me it functions better as the final scene in a movie than an actual fight.
Also, to me, that's still a W in my book.
Colgera was also my first boss fight, and DAMN when the Dragon Roost island theme hit, I was mad with joy and adrenaline to have such an epic boss fight "like in the old days". I am fond of the open-world possibilities, but having a few more of those memorable boss fights really was the cherry on top of this absolutely stunning and delicious cake that is TOTK.
(Also, yeah, we all agree: Daddy's back, and I was split between terror and heat through the whole last fight)
Billy, you are exerting yourself and I love it.
I won't edit stuff I can't handle, so don't worry in that regard ^^
don't forget Ganondorf's attacks in that last phase also get rid of your hearts completely so sunny food doesn't heal you either
I don't think that ever affected me. So I had no idea.
@@BillySYT yeah if you have enough gloomed hearts and get hit by the projectile gloom when ganondorf gets rid of the phantoms it permanently gets rid of one of your hearts like it did at the beginning of the game (When you start the dragon fight they return to normal though)
So on Sidon's ability, the problem seems to be you used a spear. The water that comes out matches your weapon range so a 2 handed weapon is like 4X bigger than the spear and the 1 handed sword is inbetween. I think even splash fruit is bigger.
So you used the smallest possible attack range for a boss that moves around so much.
I'm pretty sure I was using a club at one point, and I still didn't quite have the best aim. I suspect it's just an ability I don't click with, which is fine lol
10:37, for me, it was a surprise. I was shaking of excitement when I saw it for the first time knowing that there were 3 more unique bosses like it to fight and just in general cause it looked badass
The Gohma was a pretty fun fight it was just a little too easy
15:41 absolutely amazing, i never saw any of the hands until after i beat Ganondorf
Everyone gangsta till Ganondorf’s health bar kept going…and going….and going…
the moment i saw ganon do a backflip and pulling a flurry rush i thought i was praying my last prayers
I did the mucktorok fight with splash fruit! It was my favorite boss
Nice! Glad to see we have some Muktorok fans out there. Every boss deserves love.
The fact that I did half the fights the wrong way is absolutely amazing.
So I’m not the only one who wasted a bunch of arrows on Colgera! Glad to know that 😂
Such a gorgeous game. Im dying to play it!!!
The frox scared the shit out of me when I first ran into it because it was the one right at the east akkala chasm and I didn't expect it to be there
You probably didn't realized like some players, but you can send back his gloom projectiles with the Master Sword. You have no idea how excited I was when I learned you could do this.
You should rank the 5 sage abilities and the 3 labyrinths too
I dunno if I'd have much of interest to say about the sage abilities. Or at least, not enough to say that could make it it's own video. We'll see in the future though, inspiration may strike ^^
For froxes, I've found that the bombs just incapacitate longer, while any item will cause it to chew for a few. I've only fought 1 successfully, so maybe just confirmation bias?
Yeah I too realized that you could dive through colgera's weak spots only after beating the boss. I'm glad i'm not the only one lol
This was hands down the best version of Ganondorf. Samurai Ganondorf was just visually stunning and the battle was absolutely perfect. Didn’t die to him but the entire fight was so enjoyable and fun.
I feel like the over world Phantom Ganon variants should’ve only started appearing after you fight him at Hyrule Castle. That way it would have been even cooler when you fight him as the main boss, it makes the world feel more alive and gives Ganon have more of a presence in the game as he sends his phantoms to hunt you down.
Idk why but its so satisfying for me to go under Colgera in the depths and just shoot all the weak points lmao
Billy @ GanonDaddy "Thank god for pride month."
This is killing me 🤣🤣🤣
I killed the king gleeok in the gleeok den because I wanted the twilight cap… it was a NIGHTMARE but I somehow killed it!
Wait you need to kill the king gleeok to complete the set? Ugh, guess I'm never getting the cap then
the fact that ganon just absolutley destroys your heart containers is so fucking cool!!!
We really need a Moragia rematch with a larger health bar, maybe in a dlc.
I love the Flux Constructs because there are so many ways to defeat them. Like if you pull enough blocks off of it, it just falls apart.
There's 3 more King gleeoks on 3 separate sky islands around hyrule which safe guard a treasure chest
the master Koga Battle was so hilarious and funny. Easily one of my favorite of all time.
for sidon's abillity you can actually use the throwing move and throw your weapon and it will shoot out his water blade but I won't actually throw your weapon
you can still play dead man's volley with the gloom projectiles though
When i was fighting colgera i was listening to the music and then i had an absolute epic vibe
Ganon did it, he went OVER 9000😂😂😂
The point about Queen Gibdo is fair, but I have to say the way they handled her was very effective for me, as since I struggled SO MUCH with this fight, I was dreading to meet her again for the entire dungeon
I just wanted the twilight cap... Instead I received trauma.
I just looked up where you get the cap, I'm so sorry lmaoooo. Between that & Majora's Mask, this game was brutal with it's headpiece locations.
imo for difficulty
1. Queen Gibdo (extremely durable, plus summons a ton of enemies of various types, have to wait for light sage's range to increase, cant spam flurry rush)
2. King Gleeok (no weaknesses, cant even USE flurry rush, can two shot you easily)
3. Mucturok(sidon's ability is difficult to activate)
The first time killing a gleeok is life-changing
Bring these two things for the Mucktorok fight. A contraption with hydrants, and an opal magic rod. If you attach the hydrants to a hover stone, you can ascend on top of it in addition to moving it around with Ultrahand.
I see ganondorf in this game as a mix of soul of cinder and nameless king challenging to avoid delayed attacks while switching weapons then with the shock factor and the build up it was a great boss I wont soon forget
I’ve played many single player games before, but I’ve never gotten an adrenaline pump from this fight. I was fighting the best I could and yet I was still so underprepared for what he had in store. I genuinely was terrified when I started to lose the entire hearts, I only beat him with 1 heart left, best clutch of my life and one of my favorite boss fights
7:45 With the frox, you dont have to wait for him to start sucking, like he never has too start doing it for you to kill him. If you shoot him in the eye it does the same as the bbmb flower. Allowing you to then shoot him in the eye again after he launching you in the air by using bullet time. Once i figured that out, I've been bored of the frox fights again and hate them because he eats my Zonai creations that aren't even meant for him like my hover bike.
My first Ganon final fight had me with 2 hearts left and wearing the twilight princess green tunic. Wouldn't have had it any other way
I couldn’t agree more with this list
I made my wife mad for a whole day when I beat Colgera so fast that the music didn't even actually get a chance to kick in.
She was SO excited for me to fight it, and like you, I used arrows to kill it because that seemed obvious to me. So I killed Colgera in, like, 40 seconds flat and my wife was so disappointed that she didn't get to watch me have the fun she had sky-diving through it.
I have since done the sky-diving method in the depths, but I feel like I really missed out on really loving Colgera because the depths fight just isn't as cool as the one in The Wind Temple.
Maybe when I do it properly on a replay on my other profile, I'll finally get to experience how fun Colgera is, because I see it there... I just haven't gotten it yet.
My history with my first frox encounter is the following:
I was exploring the depths for the first time with my stalhorse, then suddendly I hear the terrifying theme as the health bar and the boss’ name appears. Then I looked to the right and there it was, I was scared but my first though was: “what the fuck is that? I wanna fight that shit”. So I leave the stalhorse and I proceed to battle it, it was such an unique experience I used a big tree that was on the way to hide from it, also to climb and with bullet time, proceeding to shoot it in the eye, I did that a couple of times till it died and I felt completely amazing. I lost my stalhorse though, guess sometimes there have to be sacrifices.
Tbh when we fought Marbled Gohma we climbed his legs in the first phase and just used Keese eye arrows in the second. Tears of the kingdom really is a diverse game
So when he dodges you when you get a flurry rush, if you just dont hit and press b itll cancel ur flurry rush but hell still be standing still for a while so you can get some wttacks
I actually encountered phantom Gannon for the first time in the throne room, even though i had found gloom hands before but allways fled before I had defeated all of them and when I finally got to the throne room Ii\t was amazing
I accidentally fought phantom ganon at hyrule castle as a 1v5 because I really forgot that I had the sages on my side and I always disable them whenever I can because it always blocks my screen but I kinda regret it during the fight
I know this video was make a couple months ago, but the mucktorock was a reference to botw. If youve done all the side quests, or if you just like the zora and talked to all of them, youll know that an elderly zora makes you look for all of the inscriptions around lanayru that king dorephan wrote. For the one underneath ploymus mountain, its about sidon going to fight a large octorock and being swallowed up, much like those before him. But he managed to poke a spear through said octorock and defeat it. Its a nice little touch but it wasnt even close to being something important to botw main storyline so lots of people didnt understand why it was there. Or it couldve just been a reference to splatoon, but whatever.
23:50 actually a kinda invalid point. You can return them by striking them with the master sword
It's something I wasn't aware of with my experiences, but that's pretty cool ^^
"cause daaaamn you guys liked that one, I'd be an idiot not to follow it up" 🤣🤣 as evidenced by me binging your totk rankings hahah
I'm happy to follow a trend if it also aligns with my own personal interests xD
You can actually use a fire hydrant against muctorok especially for getting rid of the mud on the ground
as someone who loves zombies and has huge insectophobia, the slow realization that gibdos are less the undead and more like a hive of humanoid bugs, capping off with the queen gibdo fight was so nervewracking and unsettling lmao
also on the topic of gleeok, i would love to see more really obscure zelda bosses return, cant wait for (checks the zelda wiki) rebonack to become the next op overworld boss that you have to fight on horseback or something
I’m a freaking idiot. I unlocked all the shrines and all the roots… I beat all the Frox. Never realized you can shoot a bomb into their mouth to stun them… god i love this game.
I found out that in the ganondorf fight you could do the perfect dodge but cancel the flurry rush instead and still hit him, I felt so smart
"Atop their circular arenas" *shows the only square arena*
I am a professional 😎
You can fight mucktorock with a zonai water device that you move with ultra hand
When I did phantom Gannon I didn’t even know about sages
I assume you mean finding Phantom Ganon through the Gloom Hands? Because you can't access the Hyrule Castle boss until after doing the four sage quest.
@@BillySYT yes
I like your final phase of the final boss theory
Another tip for mucktorok, but opals probably one of thr most common gems in the game, will give a spash of water when fused. No splash fruit or sidon ability needee
Dude I wish colgera was more of a challenge because spectacle- wise thats one of the best fights in the series
