    STOWAWAY2 HITCH CARGO BOXES & CARRIERS are PERFECT FOR ANY VEHICLE WITH A HITCH!
    Maximize convenience; Minimize hassle. Stow Away hitch cargo boxes and carriers offer gear carrying solutions for road trips, travel and work. Hitch-mounted for ground level loading, with a swing away frame for access to the back of your vehicle. Available in several configurations to meet the needs of families, campers, RVers, dog owners (Especially us!), businesses and anyone else looking to maximize cargo capacity without sacrificing interior comfort. Form and function combine to make the Stow Away Hitch Cargo Carrier a formidable addition for your traveling needs.
    StowAway2 hitch mounted cargo boxes are molded for rugged outdoor use with a similar resin to that used to mold white water kayaks. Hitch mounted for ground-level loading, the StowAway offers superior function for those road-trip, travel and work necessities. The hitch frames are welded using heavy duty tubing for strength and durability, with a platform that can be used to mount a cargo box, cargo basket, grill station, bike rack or ski box, which makes StowAway one formidable solution.
    As a hitch-mounted cargo box the StowAway boxes offer easy ground-level loading and unloading without sacrificing access to the back of your vehicle. There is no need to teeter on the door jam or stool to lift the gear up over your head to get it into the carrier. Roof boxes can also be limiting in the size and shape of items that can be loaded, and usually max out at 125 to 165 lbs capacity. For skis and snowboards roof boxes are a decent solution, but for just about everything else a hitch cargo box is far easier to use and more functional.

    I could not get my door all the way open either. Had to use bungie to the stow2 rack to hold it open.

    What size were those Sterilite containers (dimensions)? We have a Stowaway and I haven’t found totes to fit just right. And how many can you get in a stack inside?

      They are worth it! But I think our two videos sold them out. Not available on Amazon. Crazy supply chain issues every where! Thanks for watching! Check out the new video on all the new RV accessories! We did put Amazon links to them.

    What is the tongue weight capacity on the Beyond? How much does the storage box & carrier rack weigh? Remaining weight is for the Contents so how much weight can be put inside ? Thanks!

    • @HowToHaveFunOutdoorsForKids
      @HowToHaveFunOutdoorsForKids 3 года назад +3

      Great questions! The tongue weight is 500 lbs on The Coachmen Beyond 22C. The StowAway2 is 47lbs. So if you round off, you are able to add 450. But I would think to play it safe, 250lbs or less would be ideal. We love it! But you do have to be more careful with parking.

    • @bevn362
      @bevn362 3 года назад +3

      @@HowToHaveFunOutdoorsForKids Does the 47 lbs include the hitch & swing away or just the storage box? 250lbs is doable. What is total length of the Beyond now? Is that what makes parking more restrictive with that added length? Thanks for the info

    • @HowToHaveFunOutdoorsForKids
      @HowToHaveFunOutdoorsForKids 3 года назад +4

      Yep, that includes the hitch and swing. Great design. These could be used on all kinds of vehicles and not just Class B. As far as parking, yes you have to be more careful. So far no issue. But the Camper Van is 22.5ft and then you need to add like another 3 Ft so you are at almost 26ft. Watch our 11 lessons in 11 days video. The bridge height is the real watch out. :)

      She is Italian from northern Italy. She moved here when she was 23 for her Masters degree. In Italy, it is pronounced this way.
