Bought the same Fat Bob 5 days ago and love it. It’s my first bike so I don’t have much to compare it to, but it has some nice torque and find myself passing cars with ease when needed. Fat tires make me feel stable, the bike is more agile than I thought it would be. Overall I’m really enjoying it. Considering I’m a new rider I would recommend it for a first time rider if their good on the throttle and ease into it. Great review
I found your videos a few months ago on how to ride and watched all of them. I was going back and fourth on weather or not I wanted to ride. After watching a ton of your videos I made my choice. I got my permit and signed up for my course. Just wanted to say thank you for the videos, and the great content. Definitely got me excited to finally take the plunge
That’s awesome, happy the vids helped! Ride safe out there 🤘🏼
@@BlockheadMoto if you were to buy this would you put a 131 ci stage 4 in it? Also, I don’t know if you’d know but how would you compare this to an 05 victory hammer? (100 ci).
What’s your first motorcycle if you don’t mind me asking?
@@fluffycuddles8008 I started on a 05 dyna low rider
Man just started watching your videos for a few weeks now and gosh I get so FREAKING STOKED watching you ride I’m super excited to get my fat bob live in texas so your definitely encouraging people across country ✊🏽
Had a 2016 Fat Bob as my first Harley. Absolutely loved it. I like the beefy look the new softail fat bob has. I'll probably have one in my garage some point in the future.
I like the Fat Bob but definitely want a bigger tank. Low Rider S will be my bike. 👍
I love my saddleman step up seat on my 21 street bob. You are correct it takes a little bit but once it's broken in its nice and offers great lower back support. I also did the SE stage 2 and it really woke the bike up! Best bang for the buck IMO.
Love your reviews mate !👍👍 and wish your shop was around the corner I’d bring you my lowrider s to get a stage 2 ,but unfortunately I’m in Spain, anyways keep that stuff coming!! Regards !
Great review of the bike, thanks for posting it! This is actually the bike that I've been looking at getting as a replacement for a Yamaha FZ6 I recently sold (ergos were starting to be painful during any kind of ride). Hoping next year will be the year I get to take one of these machines home! I've already got parts figured out for what I'm going to do to it
Own one. Love it! Stage 2 with an S&S 475, Thrashin Supply exhaust and power vision tuned. It's my favorite bike I've ever had.
DANG!!! Beast mode. Ride Safe & Ride Often.
I’m in love with my fatbob. In fact it’s what drew me into my Harley addiction. I just can’t stand the tank. I really wish there was a conversion kit available.
( 3gallons is just awful)
Great video Blocky
Own one. Literally the best bike I’ve ever owned aside from my Pan America. The small (ish) tank isn’t even an issue. I can go well above 100 miles before i need to stop. I’d be stopping around that time on a bike with a larger tank anyhow.
💯 bro!
I almost bought a Fat Bob, but the smaller tank was the deal breaker for me as I already have a decked out Sportster. I got an amazing deal on a 2015 Road King instead. Personally I think the Fat Bob is one of the best looking Harleys on the market
I’m signing an application to finance that one there, I can’t wait! Been watching your vids a lot too. Helped me make my choice! Thanks bro!
I just bought a 2022 Fat Bob in sand white 4 weeks ago and I love it.
I rode the Fat Bob last year at a demo day, really enjoyed it. Great video Blockhead!
First video I’ve seen from you. Love it. Had to sub.
Great videos my dude. I'm about to be a new rider in Florida and I appreciate your work. I absolutely hate Orlando Traffic, though. :) I'm in Lakeland, so I still have I4 crapola to deal with, but not like in O-Town. Stay safe and thanks again for the content.
Great bike Review ride 🤟so I brought all these thumbs ups for ya fam 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💫
This was the bike that got me into riding. It's been more than two years since I started riding but I still haven't been able to ride it. But every time I see it I'm just 😍
I bought a black fat bob 2 months ago. Vance Hines pipes and remap a massive plus. Love the bike to bits!
I mean it sounds like a really cool bike. I’m more of a touring guy honestly. But great video and very informative!!!
Traded my 22 LRS for the 22 Fat Bob, same color, last week. Put a stage one w/ Rinehart exhaust. Love it way more than the LRS. So much more comfortable. Smaller fuel tank is a bummer, but that Mad Max styling is perfect for me.
I did rineharts too on my fatbob and yeah love love love it.
Congrats homie !
More comfortable as the Low Rider S, really? Thinking of trading my FatBob 107 for a 117 LRS, bad idea?
I really like how different this bike is. I got my dream bike recently but this was my second choice.
I have a 2018 fat bob 114. A few aftermarket parts has me at 131 hp and 128 tq.
I get so many compliments on it and questions as to what it is.
Great spot to ride! Nice overview.
It is really hard to keep looking at this bike and not buy one...I have my Tiger 1200 and Speed Twin, but I really like this over my 2015 Fat Bob I previously owned.
A 5 gallon gas tank and mid-controls and I would have bought this bike a long time ago. What's up with Harley-Davidson putting Sportster sized gas tanks on Big Twins? They self-sabotaged the Breakout 114 with that nonsense.
Agreed 100%
Touche...
Mid controls 💀💀
@@SxpremeXVI , Yep! Just like the Yamaha V-Max, the Indian Chief Dark Horse, the Ducati Diavel, the Harley Davidson Street Bob and Low Rider S, and the 2025 Buell Super Cruiser. Mid controls!
@@traeucity6087 bunch of shorties out there! Us taller dudes are always clamoring for more bikes with forwards. I'd say they should build each model with a fair bit of both.
I’m looking forward to my test ride in a couple of weeks.
The Fat Bob is iconic. It’s my Desktop picture.
Bought my FatBob last year. Always was my dream bike. Tradet it in for my Iron... The Iron was good. But we never klicked. With the Bob its a whole different Story. Great Bike, great driving abilities but the Tank really is a little but small for that Motor.
😎 the fat bob is great I prefer the Dyna version, I ride a Wide Glide now. You are dead on about the seat . People think my Corbin is stiff but after 20 miles they're soft seats are flat and I can ride all day. Sadly I'm going through the stator rotor and inner primary bearing issue now with my 06 dyna. Some say the baker bearing will fit mostly it won't the 06 is the beast of the change over year. The two-piece stator rotor has come apart so we're upgrading to the new kit basically an '07 but it has just a fraction of a field issue so the rear inner primary has to come loose for it to slide in. Oh well we're going to get into it here soon keep up the good work good videos.
That was cool thanks! I'd love to see what you think of the Fat Boy 114
On "those carburetored bikes" I'd say: Ah, but the character ! Can't be beat !
I've always liked the look of the Fat Bob! 👍🏽
It costs $43 to fill my 2011 fat bob here in Australia its getting to the point where its cheaper to watch Block ride im parking mine up
I like these, but the things I don't like is the small tank, the forward controls, and the gauges. I wish it had cruise, but that could be added.
Have a 21 fat bob stage 2 best bike I have over owned. I traded in a me too bike for it . I absolutely love it
For real love my fat bob. Best bike I’ve owned.
IMO every bike is throttle therapy.
Adjustable bars cool as Heck 😎🚀
Blockhead just talking about ya at Harley don't worry Florida on Top ☝Cali shoot cool as Heck 👊love those winding roads 😀
Yah nice bikes im thinking about getting the 103 model it's a bit old but still amazing but yah love the video bro 🤘
I own a 2019 fat bob 114, first Harley, can’t think of one issue with it. It came with a 15 wind screen from Harley wich is nice but the buffering isn’t great. Power, handling and looks are amazing.
Ya I agree with the 15", I bought a 19" but haven't given it a spin yet.
Thoughts on this as a first bike? I found a good deal on one and love the bike from just sitting on it walking it around.
That's a nice bike!👍🏿
This is one of my favorite Harley’s
Always been a fan of the Fat Bob. Stands out and would be my choice for a new buy.
Looks like a fun bike to ride and have!
I love my my street glide and will never get ride of it but if I ever am able to get a second bike the fat bob will be it. I love the looks of the bike.
I can live with the tank. Fat Bob is my favorite HD.
Like the new Fat Bobs. Was going to get one but going to get a Pan America instead due to the overall riding I want to do. If my financial situation changes for the better, I will get on for sure.
Will be picking this one up on Tuesday weather permitting. Paid and acessorized
Block are you going to try the streetbob? Im super curious to hear your opinion on it.....
Gorgeous looks
great vid
When I did my motorcycle class at Harley for my license a couple years ago, there was a retired marine in my class who was showing off before class started showing all of us his brand new 2021 fat Bob that was sitting inside that he had just bought. Told us he'd be riding it home after the first day of class. We talked, he said he had ridin before and was experienced, I told him the same, I already know how to ride, just here for the license. We proceeded to start the first day of riding on the street 500. Unfortunately he didn't last 1 hour before getting kicked out of the class because the instructors were worried about everyone's safety because he was NOT doing well.. Out of control. Needless to say they refused to let him ride the new fat Bob out of the dealership. I wish I knew what happened with him, if he came back and finished the class or not. Or if he returned the fat bob, or gave up on riding all together.
Yeah, you have to be really bad to get kicked out but people who do get kicked out or not certified, the instructors are saving their lives by doing it. Tip: be aware on group test rides or group rides in general like "Toys for Tots" types, because you will find bad riders and they put everyone at risk.
I wanted the FXDR and rode one this weekend, I jumped on a Fatbob too and now I'm second guessing the fxdr as the fatbob felt like it was easier to ride and felt more comfortable. I live in Deltona FL which you probably know as its close to Orlando. The local roads are twisty so I'm wondering if I will be happy riding the FXDR, I love the look if it.
i've had an iron 883 for a while and it is so tough to choose between this and the low rider s (softtail), not to mention the low rider st. adding another bike to the garage is difficult, apparently. goddamn you. lol. but thanks for the content.
So Blockhead has a giant beard! Nice
Love my ‘21 fat bob.
I am a fan of the Fatbob. I had the 2011 and now I have a 2017. I'll probably keep this one until forever.
Only thing I don’t like about the bike was the location of the air intake. My knee was resting on it. Maybe mid controls would fit better for me. Aside from that, I think it rocks.
I have a 2018 Fat Bob 114 and I love it
ok so my opinion is, since I own one as of 2/4/22 great bike tank size is ok 150 mile range in Cali we have plenty of gas stations.
dual disc ABS brakes fat tires and M8 best cruiser for me. commuting, lane splitting, canyons, WOW it has all one needs to break away from the daily 🥵. love it coming from sport bikes yeah.
I'm looking to buy one what would you choose/like better?
This bike or the low rider S? (Both with 114) overall handling, etc)
I am considering purchasing this bike. My question is if I put a stage 3 or 4 kit on it will I lose the low end torque?
I really like the fat Bob. Do you know if you can put bags on it.
I live in pismo beach area. Cruise up high 1 enjoyable ride and nice views
Want this bike so bad ! Someday 🤞🏼
How would it go for a second bike I’m currently on my Ls Ps this year I’ve got people who have Harleys and are saying it’s a good bike
Would you rather have this or the Sportster S?
My dream motorcycle ❤️
Hell yeah I wanna get this bike and crack the throttle on it!
I was about to trade my 2011 fatboy for a 2021 green fatbob and the only reason why I pulled off the idea was I was thinking about adding to the stable with a sport bike and my attention drifted to the street triple and the RS660
What a beautiful place!
Do the make a bigger fuel tank
There's also an option for mids but from what I've seen they're pretty awkward looking aesthetically. Definitely an afterthought workaround.
I just want to see on this :- the digital gauge of sportster s, 117 engine/evolution max engine and some rider aids which can be turned off
I love my 2021 Fat Bob. I did go with the 131 stage 4. Only thing I don't like is the tiny tank, just like so many others. Think a thundermax and a cam are in my future.
I have V&H long shots with the THUNDERMAX. It's awesome, and sounds proper now.
Goldzilla bike baddest beast 💪
I test rode one of these and found it too wallowy and not that comfy tbh, rode a new rocket gt and gave me bigger smiles and more sure on the road so I brought the GT 😎
I purchase mine this year and it's my baby, I just love it but its a 2018
Been testing this bike... 1000miles.. na it fall so short with the Low Rider ST. ST for the win!!
I haven’t been on the Softail version but my brother had a Dyna FatBob and it was a fun bike.
Does your brother still have it?
@@Taino871 no he changed bikes last fall. That 103 was feisty tho.
Been wanting to buy a Harley for a while now. Ive had dirt bikes but I’ll be your first time Street rider really like the fat Bob would that be a good bike for first time street bike? Not a fan of the sportsters want to go straight to a softail
I have a 18 fatbob the issue is there isnt as much after market support for the bike as people think. Like buying risers for the stock bars are almost impossible. Saddle bags youll only have 2 choices for no locking option like the lowrider st or sport glide. And the tank kinda sucks when i first brought mine i worked a couple of miles away the tank would last a good while, but if your working far 30-40 minutes commute look elsewhere
bitchen seats have risers for the stock bars 3 inches with abs
Makes cool black club style bike!
I like that bike.
I have the 2019 fat bob 114 I like it a lot but I have had a problem that the battery discharges very quickly and in 3 years I have had to change 3 batteries, I did not want to invest money in looking for the problem and I decided to change it for the same 2022 let's see if it is the problem with my motorcycle only, if the same thing happens again with the 2022 I will let you know.
Are there any differences between 2019 and this 2022 model?
They need to put the nice gauge of the sportster s on this.
Can't decide between Sportster S or a Fat Bob. The rear suspension scares me the Sportster, and the single disk upfront. The two seem very similar ( if you go stage 3 Bob )
Fat bob is better. Sporster s is really small
I am absolutely torn between this and the Sportster S
What kind of camera do you use?
Good luck finding any bikes that are available at this point. And if you do, they’re marked WAY UP. kind of a joke at this point
Riding awesome HD wearing top comfy Indian hand socks 😎🤙🏻
I have 2011 fatbob. You can get them cheap. Upgrade the motor, change suspension(lift it up a bit) mid controls and you have a great bike that does it all. This new fatbob looks amazing. Thanks for review.
It's not the bike he wants. He wants me! I was rolling!!!
I’d love to trade my 2020 gixxer 750 in on one there some really nice looking bikes
I really want the new Low Rider ST.
I love this bike but the price tag is nuts for what you get. Almost 20k and no cruise as standard? If it was 10-12k it would be a great buy but at the current price the value just isn’t there.
