Many thanks for this post. new to your channel , but not your collection. i was born in the 60,s & remember "Costume Shops " . The masks i saw then , those are my grails. i too restore/ paint & even sculpt/cast my own. i ,ve loved this stuff all my life, & got into make-up spf, S-8 film & art. great channel. oh yeah , i also love Muscle cars too.
Glad you found the channel! What a Time to be alive, the old costume shops and of course the best time for science fiction and horror that lasted all through the 80s and up to the early 90s. It’s a great hobby, not many people understand it But for guys like you and me it’s a passion!

Man oh man, at least I’m lucky that my girl loves all of it. I’ve dated plenty though that would think I’m totally nuts and didn’t get it at all so I know what you mean.
@@RudysWorldOfficial I was with my Sons Mom for 14 + yrs. , then....single , livin in the Woods .My new ladys TRIPPIN ! my bedroom ALONE has almost 75 masks in it. I sculpt ,draw ,paint & bulid stuff ...a lot ...all OVER... & sadly roll in a Whooptie.

What a better time to grow up the 1970s were. All boys loved the Monsters and you could build them as model kits and car models of course where you learned what the car parts were through the kits. You learned who the race drivers were and people like Tom Daniels through them and then natural progression was high school and getting the real thing, a hot rod.

Great video and can definitely relate to wanting unattainable mask while reading that same magazine..lol. I also wanted to work in special effects on day. Thinking of starting a mask collection myself and look forward to watching more of your videos.

Great collection. I used to collect as well but sold everything. I only recently started getting back into it when I discovered silicone masks by Immortal Mask. Like you, my focus was movie characters from the 50's and 60's. You have some pieces that I would have killed for back when I was collecting back in the 80's and 90's.

Hey Rudy i have some heavy duty judy plastic injection mold display stand platforms that might work perfectly for putting some of your masks on that have the cardboard rolls in the foam. let me know if your interested i can probably ship you 1 for free to try out, i have small medium and large.
