Daiwa increases Spool size by 1-2mm not a big deal.

What I find interesting is in the Daiwa videos you do, you call out Daiwa fanboys and make fun of them in the comment section when it seems apparent that you yourself is a Shimano fanboy.
Every Daiwa video I've seen of yours, you tend to always be biased against it. But not when it comes to Shimano. It's quite apparent.
Shimanos are better, thats why I like them. I dont have anything against Daiwas, I have more Daiwa reels than you. I do however, love triggering their delusional snowflake fanboys 🤣

@@THEREELTEST I absolutely expect a rebuttal. I used to be a subscriber because I found your early videos rather interesting and informative. I'm a no frills no BS veteran who loves to fish and I thought what you were doing was great.
But then I started seeing you being confrontational with people in your comment section that may not agree with you on some of your content. It's okay to disagree and you can still be respectful. But no, you're highly confrontational. Hell, you did it with me. I guess it's a free country right? After all, it is your RUclips channel. I just don't like people who are confrontational like that.
I own many Daiwa reels and own plenty of Shimano reels. Do I like Daiwa more. Sure... But that doesn't mean I don't give credit to Shimano where it is due. I love my DC reels and Bantam. I have purchased reels from a mere $5 dollars at a garage sale to a stupid $1000 dollar reel that I bought on sale. Both Daiwa and Shimano are on a class on their own and the rest are playing catch up.
But regardless what side you lean towards, does it hurt you to be respectful to others that don't see the same thing you're seeing or like something different than you do? That's really the biggest thing I don't like about you. But do I think you have a highly informative channel? I do. Just highly disappointment at the same time when I found out about your attitude towards others.

6:25 You're comparison is off. The old Tatula 150 has no SV or Hyperdrive technology. That's the biggest addition. Man, I don't know what it is about you against Daiwa.
You need to clean your ears or find someone thats intelligent to watch videos and explain them to you. I was comparing the original Tatula SV to the "new" SV 150.

Your comparison is off because the new Tatula SV 150 was formerly just the Tatula 150 and then they added the SV spool and Hyperdrive. You're comparing it to the Tatula SV which is a different reel. It's okay to listen to your viewers you know. Besides, you admitted you're a Shimano fanboy. Why not listen to a Daiwa guy?
If you're going to compare a reel to something it wasn't previously, then don't say it didn't change because it's two different reels. The Tatula SV is not the regular Tatula 150 previously. The SV is the SV and the 150 is the 150.
@@mrfilamfishingLOL most Daiwa guys are CLUELESS and you are proof 🤣 The Tatula 150 uses the ORIGINAL Tatula frame DAIWA FANBOY. This SV 150 uses the CT frame, not the original Tatula frame DAIWA FANBOY. No Tatula SV reels have ever used the ORIGINAL Tatula frame that uses a much wider 27mm spool DAIWA FANBOY. I have more Daiwa reels and more experience with Daiwa reels than you DAIWA FANBOY. Actually know what you are talking about before you try to challenge me DAIWA FANBOY. Let this be a learning experience DAIWA FANBOY.

My US Zillion is my favorite Daiwa reel I have ever owned coming from a Shimano guy. The new Tatula SV100 should be a godly caster with the SV Boost.
My Daiwa Zillion HD slays anything I throw at it. Freshwater and inshore rock fishing.
Ill put it up against the Zillion 1000, but I dont expect it to do much better than the old SV. The Metanium crushes the Zillion

I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised that the new tatula frame with the cutout is extremely comfortable to palm. I felt it at a store. All but one of my reels are shimano but interested to hear your thoughts, this is the first Daiwa in a long time I’ve considered trying.
The previous Tatula SV was probably their best reel for the money, Im sure this one will be great as well but not liking the price hike
I’ve got a few of the previous sv 100’s and I really like them. Until you start throwing a chatterbait or any bait that really vibrates. They rattle. Like crazy. All of mine do it. I think it’s the induction cup rattling. I wonder if the new Boost spool will eliminate that issue.
just the slight bit of rotation will cause the air brake inductors to pop out
@@THEREELTEST No kiddin. It doesn’t take much and man is it annoying. Surely Daiwa knows this is an issue. I bet the new models are the same way. If space wasn’t such a crucial part of their braking system a small o-ring under the induction cup might eliminate the noise. I had a reel repair business for 20 years and I’m always tinkering with my reels trying to make them better. I’ll probably do some minor surgery on one of mine and see if I can come up with something. I’ll be sure to let you know if I do. I don’t throw chatterbaits a lot so I may just deal with the noise. 🤷

@@THEREELTEST Just a follow up. About a three foot mono leader completely eliminates the chatter. Lets you know just how much vibration straight braid transmits.
I'm confused about the whole lineup lol I do love my tatula 200 and tatula elite 100 . I just wish the brake dial was in a different place because I always move it on accident
Daiwa saves the more refined brake dial operations for their more expensive reels

It’s kind of confusing. Go back to a fuego, tatula, zillion, steez, maybe an alphas.
Not a tatula, tatula ct, tatula sv, tatula sv ct etc.
It's not that complicated to me but I'm a Daiwa supporter.
Basically it goes... Tatula CT, Tatula TW, then Tatula SV TW. It's just 3 different Tatulas. Entry level is CT, TW is your regular Tatula and SV is the most advanced one.
CTs come in 100 sizes. Regular Tatulas come in 80, 100, 150, 200, 300 sizes. The SV only comes in 103 size.
The Tatula has different varieties because it's their most popular and more affordable reel before venturing to the Alphas, Zillions and Steez.

I can't stand daiwa reels so bulky and too much braking. I wish I would of save 4 of my ss sv 103, a bit bulky but super light but sucks on distance
