@@NinaHansen2008 thank you again, 😘Nina, I think your new here so welcome!!! And just so you know, I have playlists of creations, broken down by category with a lot of functional art that you might want to take a look at😉
I’ve seen lots of poured ornaments can’t remember blooms but these are beautiful. Necessity is the mother of invention love using your drill to turn it. I’ve got tons of those ornaments I robbed DT last year lol. I live reckless abandon my kind of art
Catching up - love these Louise - I do not think I will even have time to do a video of my ornaments - so I will just enjoy yours - love your colors - amazing instructions :)
Thanks Jenn for coming by and commenting…check out the previous 2 videos too, 278 and 275 for blooming on flats and bloom transfer on discs. 2 more to come!
Woohoo, first to see your wonderful creation today Louise! I like to do things the whole nine yards 😅 Love your attitude. Definitely do something about it if you don’t like it. That’s part of the joy of fluid art hey. The blue ones are my absolute favourite. Just beautiful ❤🎨
Thank you so much, Jean😘 I appreciate your comment. And FYI, I do have an ornaments playlist if you want to see other creations and I will have a video coming out probably Monday of my latest set of ornaments that was a commission creation.
Louise!!! You have rocked my world in the best way ever!!! THANK YOU for this detailed video with using your drill!!!! BRILLIANT! I don't even want to say how frustrated I've been with mine, so much so that I look at my studio and don't enter through the doors lol. But now I know I can get back in and create to my hearts content!!!! Styrofoam just sucks!! Lol
Thank you and awesome. 🩵💙I have an ornaments playlist begun and I’ll have 2 more tutorials upcoming on rounds, bloom and bloom transfer. Fourth coming up later this week!
@@JamieMillen hi Jamie and welcome. This pillow was leftover paint from prior pores that I had strained and reused, did not add any extra colors to it. You could use any regular pillow White would be fine too.
Thank Maggie, sorry, I’m not clear in the video, but I do show where I have them drying where I’m showing the backside of them hanging in my storage rack. I slipped them into my storage shelf through the holes and let them sit there horizontally until they’re dry about a couple days. I will make it very clear in the next video how I store them, but it is a Jerry rig. How I do it is not as important as what works for you, but the next video I will be very clear about showing it.
@@LouiseMcKayArt Thank you so much for taking time to reply. I probably wasn’t paying as close attention as I should. You videos and instructions are always the best and I feel very clear. Thanks again!

Hi! Gorgeous work!
What did you use for the corks to hold the ornament??thanks!
Thank you Donna🧡❤️, if I was smart, I would get them from a bar, but I purchased them at Home Depot in little packs of four.
For the pillow did you add colour to the paint ?

Louise, these are beautiful! What are you using to let them dry? Styrofoam? I assume you keep them horizontal until they dry.

Also how thick is the colour paints?
At around the minute mark I show the thickness. It’s probably a 2 sec trace.
