This problem has irked me ever since it became a public issue. It really doesn't matter that these bullion coins are being minted in different locations, as there's absolutely no way to track the coin's origin after it exits a monster box. I'm siding with the US Mint here, those internal tracking numbers they gave to the public were never meant to be used to show precisely where the box came from. In the end because the US Mint doesn't officially recognize a difference between bullion coins based on where they were minted, neither will I.
Приветствую!Красивые монеты!Спасибо за обзор!
Hi J&B I just pick up a 2016 with no mint mark it look like it is proof only on the back can you give me a little more info on this coin thank you 👍
I have a 2016-W PCGS MS70 First Strike Silver Eagle 30th Anniversary. I've had it since issue. Today while looking at it, I noticed the top face edge, right above the E in Liberty has a cude error.
Upon closer view, thru magnification you can definitely see the mis-strike pressed off the edge. Would you advise if it increases value?
I'm confused how it could be graded MS70 with a mis-strike? Any assistance would be appreciated.
I enjoy watching your videos. I have a 2016 W DCAM MS 70.
Your coins, the Eagles are beautiful
Not rare at all
I need the 2016 and 17 burnish eagle
The 2016p is expensive
That's going to be confusing when the label says a 2017-S but its just a regular Eagle minted in San Francisco and it not the 2017-S special commemorative addition that actually has the "S" stamped on it. but the mint is smart because now people are going to be seeking out monster boxes that have never been opened all the way back to 1986 to have the "new" complete set including the D,S,P, and W for every year. It's a whole new ball game now and an exspensive one at that!!
Actually the US Mint hasn't been making silver eagle coins at every single mint in the years past, they've only recently had to expand production to other mints because of the high demand for them in the last couple of years. They went from minting between 9-12 million a year in the early 2000's to almost 48 million in 2015!
Milton Waddams wow that's a lot. well I guess it will not be all that hard to collect them all
