Silver Torch I just sold 2 rolls of American Eagles dated 2000 and 2001 , I wish I had them back but I needed the money in a emergency situation. I paid $199.00 for a roll back in 1998 , so there you go time pays off. I got spot price but it's sure painful. Thank you for all your amazing videos.
The great thing about stacking is that we have that emergency access to our wealth when we need it the most. If you hadn't bought those two rolls of ASE's, you probably wouldn't have had the ability to handle your emergency situation. Keep on stacking!
The ASE is my favorite bullion- like you, it forms the foundation of my stack. I personally think that the Walking Liberty is the most beautiful of designs in ALL coins not only in US but worldwide. Excellent video, my friend! I always enjoy your videos.
Thank you Silver Saver, It is an amazing design that has lasted the test of time. Many say they get tired of it and that the mint should change it up for collectability. I am not one of those advocates. I like the ASE because it is a bullion coin that I am not attached to and can liquidate without emotion at the appropriate time. I collect the other pretty stuff!
Smart to stack eagles. When it's time to sell it'll be easy to do so. All this home made, hand poured, one off community silver will be hard to sell in 5-10 years. But the eagle will always have a buyer
There are buyers for every kind of silver but the question is.... do you have access to those markets? If you don't, then I would agree that the ASE's are the most liquid able form of bullion for American's. Thanks for your comment Wonka Willy.
Beautiful coin. I am too poor to enjoy those things. So sorry. My grandfather would have loved this channel. I have his 50 cent pieces. I'm content with that. Lovely channel, bye now. :-) Have a happy holiday!
If purchasing silver eagles individually, 4 or so per paycheck.. should I purchase the same year I order to eventual fill a tube? Or get different years?
Knightynight- I would buy the ASE's with the lowest price regardless of the mint date! Dates really don't matter unless it is a cherry 1996! 5 years from now, a tube of 2017 ASE's will sell for the same price as a tube of mix dates! I would even consider cull or damaged ASE's for the absolute best price available. Thanks for your question.
I would purchase the most recent year to get the most of your fiat currency! I would also purchase on a budget 4-6 ASE's spending up to $100.00 to get free shipping and avoid paying Sales Tax when possible.
