For flatheads use live bluegills, bullheads, or large minnows. Since you're somewhere where it's legal, you should throw a live bluegill! They love these things

I'm off to Thailand next week where I had a beast of an Amazon Red Tail Catfish last year at 65lb, nearly ripped my arm off - But the Mekongs go to 380 and one guy had a 320 when I was out there that took him over 2 hours to get in! He could hardly move in the bar that night - You would love it

Looked like a fun day of fishing. I would suggest when fishing for monster catfish, that you stay a little closer to your rods so you don't lose any fish or fishing rods lol.

We often catch catfish here in South Africa. Sometimes you think you're snagged but it's actually the fish digging itself into the mud. We had it a few times
