David Lee Roth lead singer, front man and studied Martial Arts during his time with Van Halen and that's why David Lee was so athletic and limber, and Michael Anthony on the Bass guitar. Ive been a huge Van Halen fan since the 6th grade believe it or not. My cousin played me their song "Dreams" and I was obsessed with their music.
I wish more reaction videos did their deeper cuts, but everyone does "Panama", "Jump" and other radio singles. Theyre excellent songs....but they have much, much better songs.

Van Halen have so many great original songs, don't waste time with a cover song like pretty woman. In fact, avoid the diver down album completely.
As others have said, Eddie is related to the drummer, Alex. The singer is David Lee Roth and he's known for being one of THE greatest front men in rock. He was quite the character. Michael Anthony on bass. The entire band as a unit is a powerhouse, there are no slackers. VH catalog is huge and full of banger after banger, but when you mentioned that he seemed to be one with his guitar, all I could think was why have you guys not reacted to Eruption solo, live without a net?? Please. Trust me in this one. If you really want to get a crash course into why Eddie Van Halen is a legend, you just need to start with that. Then you can move on to more songs and ...Van Hagar.

Some of their bigger hits, like Jump, eddie wrote the music first and then roth wrote the lyrics to the music. A little unusual, but whatever works i guess. And that roaring sound during the bridge of the song was actually a recording of a car revving, a lambourghini, i believe. Eddie's idea.

Just a few FYI's. This song was played repeatedly in Panama blasting from helicopters and ground forces (along with a rotation of a few other songs) by the US Military during Operation Nifty Package 1989-1990 as a psychological warfare tactic to get dictator Manuel Noriega to surrender. The music was played 24 hours a day for days. He finally surrendered during the song "I Fought the Law" by The Clash was played.-- NO im not making this up! Look it up! ~~~ Also, that is Eddie Van Halens Ferrari engine being revved that you hear in the middle of the song during David Lee Roths breakdown about the seat because why not have a Ferrari engine sound included in a song? Gotta get your moneys worth!

Darlins,..David did that crazy insane mess ALL THE TIME,..he was always flying through the air with the greatest of ease!,.(little circus humor young people),never a net,..people right up at the stage, front row,.he could've fell and crashed into,..and when he did all that flying,..the crowd would go crazy,..it only encouraged him,..and as you can see Eddie did it too!,..crazy,..There was just a second of it in this video,..but David also did the dancing with ribbon thing,..like gymnasts do,..gymnastic routine,..think he even would hang from a ribbon,..like the Circus Soleil acrobats,. if it wasn't hanging and swinging,..it was somersaults,. mid-air..splits 7 feet in the air,..lol,..they were young,.you know,..young and fit,. we loved it,..rock show and some acrobatics,..they really put on a show,..do check out Humans Beings,..they did this song for the movie Twister,..its in there,..Sammy Hagar is lead singer,..really awesome song,..Eddie kills it,..they all do,..keep going,..Godspeed young people,..Peace, ✌
