I know it says to drink it from the bottle but in my opinion this beer tastes way better in a glass. Plus you can't really appreciate a Guinness without appreciating how pretty it looks in the glass.
Can is better because it's a work of art with the Cascade effect. Thats what really sells the product because other beers do have the same effect except for Murphy's Imported Stout which I honestly prefer over a Gunniess. Its smooth and has more coffee note to it. Guninness has more of a roasty note and a thin body of flavor to my palates taste. I won't turn down a Gunniess. I'm just prefer one more over the other.
Oh I see. I've always had a Guinness cold when I drank it. I left it out once for about an hour, and drank it when I came back. I definitely preferred it when it was cold. Everyone has a different opinion though. :)

So idk if I did mine right or not; but after drinking it from the Bottle my first Guinness ever, it reminded me of that strong sweet flavor from Bud Light, then the middle taste was a bit okay then the last after taste had a hint of chocolate in it, I don't like it having a strong sweet flavor to it, is it just me or is it not my type of drink?

This is disingenuous first of all the bottle only has 11.2 ounces and it won't fill the official small pint glass it does not cascade properly any way you pour it and it has a funny taste to it. The closest thing to the tap is the Guinness can which holds 14.9 ounces and a widget that gives it the fresh from tap taste and cascading pour. Oh and it actually fills the glass to the top with a nice head.
Warning: the bottles taste like trash. lol. Although the can's are ok if you're at home craving a Guinness, you really cant beat the taste from a pub. And im not a beer snob. There's no bitterness at all from Draught poured at a pub.
Guinness is to be served at room temperature, definitely NOT cold. And the guy in this video explained exactly how to pour a Schlitz not a Guinness. Carbonation and/or nitrogen are not part of the beer. These elements should be reduced by pouring the libation straight to the bottom of the glass, thus creating much foam. Then two or even three more pours a re required to top off the glass once the head subsides.
I'm going to keep on trying this tonight until I perfect it. And with every pour I get drunker. The end justifies the means in my pursuit.

Foreign Extra Stout is my favorite Guinness product. It's a nearly perfect glass of beer, no nitrogen but the head will stand up beatifully.
