    Hello, am I correct that you used the blue psycho frame here and did not get a clear frame? Even in the OTB showcase? It seems like you are able to get colors like red to shine through well even without a clear frame. Care to comment on that? Any photos of red showing through well? I'm worried about RGB not being useful without a clear frame. Thank you.

      hello.
      yes, you are correct. i didnt even know you could get a clear inner frame for the pg unicorn, tbh. the clear blue is what i used - it comes with it. kosmos makes 2 LED sets for the PG Perfectibility: regular and RGB. I have the RGB one, but the way they implemented it is a bit odd as the G and B lights are bright clear while the Red is a smaller. It still comes through the blue frame but not quite as much. Check out the end of the video with showcase - it has a lot of demos of the lights. My favorite LED color is purple, actually. I have displayed since i built it on a shelf always on static purple.

      @skhobbies I was going to ask about that. I have this kit in red and I have the Bandi Led kit. But before I build it I was looking to see if there was a multiple LED kit. Also seeing how you have the blue version does it look the same as the other version like red, green, etc...? Or do they make a clear upgrade? Or am I able to 3D print out parts to customize it to have Multiple LED's. Since that would look sick.

      that’s a lot of questions :) in red - you mean the psycho frame? If so, that’s probably a regular pg unicorn. I haven’t dealt with Bandai original LEDs as I don’t like their quality and lack of always on mode and external power options.

    Do you do any top coat after applying water slide decals? i see people online say to seal them in with a topcoat and I see vids where people just leave it after applying softer. Sorry I am still noob lol

      Hey. I normally would, but only for aesthetics. I live in Canada and there’s a good part of the year when I can’t top coat due to weather. If you apply waterslides, even Bandai ones(they are notoriously bad, but third party slides every time you can) they will stick just fine if you use Mr mark setter. Top coat will further protect your water slides and paint. You can also use Mr mark softer to melt water slides once they I’ve settled in and before top coating. That will make them blend with the plastic better.

    Do you install the Kosmos LEDs the same way you install Bandais LEDs?

    • @skhobbies
      @skhobbies  6 месяцев назад +2

      Mostly, yes. For example, the main body LEDs from kosmos are a direct replacement of the original led set from Bandai so you simply follow the original instructions. However, if you build Perfectibility (this kit) or Phenex, or Banshee, or Final battle - kosmos sets for those have extra LEDs and those can be installed either by following the manual (Chinese and English) or videos from yan.z channel.

    Did your Kosmos LED come with the USB-C port out of its battery pack? How did you set up the battery pack?

    • @skhobbies
      @skhobbies  3 месяца назад

      yes, from my experience - all modern kosmos kits have a usb-c plug. sometimes, it would be on the battery pack and sometimes it would be a separate attachment.
      for PG Perfectibility - USB-C is a separate attachment to the battery pack. its also a longer cable so you can modify the base and make neat plug in the rear.

    I see the body only show blue and green color. Can other color such as yellow, purple go through the blue Psycho Frame ?
