I’ve never been able to touch my toes, not even close. In fact I personally nicknamed myself “plank” because I’m so inflexible. Ive been using a mix of your lower body follow along routines for the last 6 months including your first hamstrings video. I can now touch my toes (just) and whilst it has been slow progress it has been incredibly satisfying. Thanks for hamstring v2 (I’ll be doing it 2-3x a week) and thanks for sharing your knowledge ... it has made such a difference to my life. Cheers Tom 😀
I’m 40 and I recently decided to get serious about my flexibility training. Tom, your resources were a no brainer go-to for me. I’ve been doing this and a couple of other follow alongs for a few weeks now, and yesterday I finally touched my palms to the ground for the first time in my life! Thanks!
I don't know what kind of sorcery this is, but after doing this I was able to touch my knees with my forehead for the first time in my life. Thank you thank you thank you!
After doing these follow alongs I feel so happy my eyes fill up with tears. Really wonderful feeling, thank you bodyweight warrior!! My calfs and hamstrings had been tense for years, I thought I was stretching but now I really learn what stetching means, it’s really a miracle that I came across Tom through a friend... will definitely share his vids.
These are the best routines I have ever done. I have been a cyclist who did not stretch much for 45 years and now at age 71 I am actually gaining flexibility. Thank you very much.
Following your less is more approach, used to workout 6 times a week now I do 3 and seeing better results within a week, I know it sounds crazy but I think I was just overdoing it. Thanks a lot!
i dont know what to say you are just amazing i have never seen someone like you bro thank you sooo much and i had one question my ankle clicks and pops soooo much can you maybe please do a video about it please
Hi tom, i’ve been watching a lot of your follow-along videos and i found a really good stretch for the triceps, a pretty highly used muscle group for my sport. You basically go into butcher’s block on one arm, and you lean into one tricep, using the other arm to push yourself into the stretch. This also helps open up the lats and obliques, and it feels really good! I always get really excited when you upload more follow-along videos, because they’ve helped me make tons of notable progress in my flexibility and mobility. Thank you Tom!! :D
Tom, this is fantastic. Been using v1 since September, alternating with v2 since it came out. I'm 45, never been able to touch my toes. Getting there. At least 10cm closer since September. Love your At Home program too. Thanks!
So my partner and I started your work about 5 months ago and I’ve moved from too of my shins to the top of my ankles. So satisfying to be able to grab my feet now in some of these positions. Thank you!
Ok that was awesome. First time I’ve proper got stuck into one of your follow alongs. Got great improvement, definitely gonna do this a few times, felt like the right routine for me. Thank you.
Thanks, Tom - love the before and after test; it proved the routine! Before, just fingertips to the floor. After, palms all the way down. Wish I’d found this one sooner and will be doing regularly now. Forehead to knees is the goal. You’re the bomb!
Like many of you, Tom's videos have really helped me with my strength and flexibility, but also with mental health-related issues during quarantine. Healthy body, healthy mind and all that. This is totally off of my own back, but the guy now has a Patreon -- without many patrons at this moment in time. Just $3 a month is the first tier. While some of us have been hit very hard financially by the crisis and need to save wherever they can, I reckon there are other people out there that would relish the chance to say thanks to Tom by showing him some support this way.
Hi Tom! Wow, this is an incredible follow along for the hamstrings. I was so tight at the beginning I could barely bend forward but now I can get my hands on the ground. My hamstrings feels so good. Thank you so much!
You might find less is more! This is an intense routine and going 2-3 times a week with rest days will speed your flexibility gains! Less frequency, more rest, but with high intensity session is the way to go! :) keep it up! :)
I did the 20 min full body V3 routine and then decided to add this one on top of it. Despite having already stretched out, I saw great improvement! Went from fingertips barely touching ground to index joint touching.
I know u say flexibility takes time, but I can literally already touch my toes after the 2nd day of doing this evenn tho I’ve never been able to💃🏻🤪 thank u tom!!
I am over 40 and trying to get better lower body flexibility and mobility. All of your workouts have been fabulous, but this one is the winner. At the beginning I could touch fingertips to the ground. By the end my palms touched. Yay!
Mate, this is the most brutal stretch routine of yours I've done yet. I came into this with my hamstrings being tight after running yesterday and I think to myself, "let's try a different routine today". I can't thank you enough for your guidance, you are the unsung hero of my road to fitness. Somehow, by the end of the routine, I managed to put my palms on the floor in a pike.. for the first time ever! I can't believe it! Good to see you paired up with the wolf run too, I spotted you on their most recent newsletter.
Hi Tom, you should stop adressing me as a bodyweight warrior. I beleive most of your followers are other than that. My greatest gratitude goes to you as I am nearly 70 years old and have gained so much more life quality from regularly doing these carefully curated exercises at home. Many of my friends do them as well...with as many good results. Somagain THANK YOU for giving me quality of life beyond my wildest expectations. As you are so young you probably cannot estimate, what that means. Usually the „exercises“for older people are quite undemanding.
The one where you hug your legs gave me a different stretch. It made me realise how tense my lower back. Felt like I scratched and itch I didn’t know I had
Before the routine I could flat hand in the pike position. Afterwards flat hand in slightly bent angle. Thank you Tom, for this comprehensive and slightly more aggressive harmstring follow along!
I also made some pretty notable progress. The angle my arms were bent at before starting the routine had increased by a very noticable amount by the end of the video. I’m so happy that Tom made another hamstring video!!
made significant progress after about 2 years with the tightest hamstrings in the universe 🎉 Progress is exponential but it takes a lot of work on all parts of the body
Been using your trybe program for 2 months and I love it, I've made great flexibility gains over that time. I can't perform any specific movement yet, but I'm focusing only on achieving front splits. I love the content, and I request that more explanations be put on certain exercises on the trybe program. Some are difficult for me to perform and I would like more guidance in the app on how to perform those movements.
Great to hear! Absolutely, we’re working on putting together some coaches corner content so you can have more direction with it. In the meantime, just ask your questions on the forum. You can submit clips for review as well :)
This video helps me SO MUCH. Really targets all those spots that ive forgotten about. That bit where you have us bending the knee and straightening it back while pulling it over our center line was so brutal. But it activated a muscle i injured like 2 years ago. Consider my mind blown.
Wow, that made a huge difference. I started off with only being able to grab half way down my shins but by the end I was able to touch my toes. My headlights are now definitely hitting the ceiling
got hands to floor after about 3 weeks of doing this 3-4 times per week. I've been avoiding the pike position for a long time due to back injuries, but my back is feeling better than ever after regularly doing this routine. cheers tom!
Great routine. I am not that tall so putting the block in my core and was quite challenging. My hamstring inprove a bit afterwards. Will keep practicing. Thanks
I’m training for my first (virtual) marathon on 19th Dec and my hamstrings are a nightmare. This really helped loosen them. I’ll keep doing it a few times a week till race day. Thank you so much!
I have the goal of archieving the full pancake. I thought I would focus first on an easier goal so I am stretching everyday with your begginer V3 or Full body V3 routines (depending of im feeling). Now after a couple of weeks I want to do this routine on top of that. Doing this x2 a week as it´s more intense is enough? My starting point is palms to floor, I expect to get my forehead to knees soon :)
It was fun to check the before and after with the hamstring test! I am exercising more and did a weightlifting workout in the morning, worked 4 hours of Massage, then went for hour bicycle! So my hamis@f feel good now.
Hi tom I have been looking for an easy to follow along hamstring routine and come across your channel which is very useful. I just wonder if you could design one which allows beginners to have a bit of satisfaction and perhaps about 10 min max coz some of these are too hard for me e.g. can’t reach my toe, my back won’t bend etc., but still progressively improve hamstring flexibility?
With hamstring stretches the last part of your body you want to bend is your lower back! You’ve gotta start where you can with these exercises and move towards doing them how they’re shown with time! All of them can be adjusted to your difficulty! Don’t bend your back! Get those hamstrings burning whatever level you’re at :)
See update below I've done this routine last week for the first time, it worked pretty well for the time being - the days after though I felt painfully stiff and a lot less flexible in the harm strings. Today I repeated the routine after the pain had disappeared and oddly enough I didn't do as well as last week. Is this something normal so I'll have to force my body through the pain to teach it to adopt to it and not to fight against it? Update (for those who might find this helpful) I'd like to answer the question to myself: Yes, I had to force my body into the pain and with each time I did this drill I was understanding each exercise better and felt it. My harmstring flexibility has improved significantly now after only 4 weeks of 1-2 sessions. Today my face magically touched my knees whilest having my legs fully locked for the first time in my life. @tommerrick you're a genius. This is something a whole bunch of physios with their exercises failed to achieve with me after I had two herniated lumbar discs 3 years ago. Thank you so much!
This was intense! 😂 I feel great though and will definitely do it again. I had a slight improvement in my pike at the end of the session. Many thanks Tom.
I could touch my forehead to my knees for the first time. I have been doing yoga for years and I could not even reach the flexibility as I did with this routine. Thank you !
Wow to me after this routine, I discovered I could do something new, I can now put my hands around my feet and stretch the legs all the way down. I didn't know I could do that, thanks Tom.
I'm an atheist, but found myself praying at several points during this routine to get through the pain. 10/10 routine
😂😭😭
Atheists are good at stretching beyond limits
Funny, usually atheists are the more flexible ones.
🤣🤣🤣
Hey an Atheist told us they were an atheist, the world still pretty normal I guess

How's it been now?

Tom, your hamstring flexibility routines have helped me more than any stretching I have ever done. Ty.

I agree. Was following body by rings but just felt beat up all the time. Seeing much more improvement with training hard but less often.
i dont know what to say you are just amazing i have never seen someone like you bro thank you sooo much and i had one question my ankle clicks and pops soooo much can you maybe please do a video about it please

Best routine ever. I've been doing for 3 months now (twice a week because it's quite intense) and results are amazing ! Thanks a lot
You are amazing...your routines really work!! I can't thank you enough!!the only videos that really helped my body!!
Tom, this is fantastic. Been using v1 since September, alternating with v2 since it came out. I'm 45, never been able to touch my toes. Getting there. At least 10cm closer since September. Love your At Home program too. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video!! I did this routine twice - I started with my finger tips on the floor but now I've got my palms on the ground! ❤
So my partner and I started your work about 5 months ago and I’ve moved from too of my shins to the top of my ankles. So satisfying to be able to grab my feet now in some of these positions. Thank you!
Another brilliant routine, actually saved me through lockdown and improved my flexibility 10 fold. Amazing 💪🏽💪🏽
Ok that was awesome. First time I’ve proper got stuck into one of your follow alongs. Got great improvement, definitely gonna do this a few times, felt like the right routine for me. Thank you.
Hey Tom, awesome stretches. I did 80 library deadlifts today and this stretch routine is exactly what I needed. Thanks.
Thanks, Tom - love the before and after test; it proved the routine! Before, just fingertips to the floor. After, palms all the way down. Wish I’d found this one sooner and will be doing regularly now. Forehead to knees is the goal. You’re the bomb!

This is my second time with this session. Yes ...there is lot of improvement. Thank you
Loved it, Tom! I've gone from hands on shins to fingers on ground (palms almost there).

that was awesome. fingertips before the routine, palms after it. thanks!
That was tough but I can’t believe the difference this has made. Many thanks!!👍🏻
Wow this was what I needed! Added to my mobility playlist!

Just hiked many miles in Yellowstone National Park. Oww, right leg was tight! Thanks for helping get back to the road of recovery!
I sometimes search for other stuff but always comes back to Tom, best out there on flex
Hi Tom... my hamstrings have streached a lot. Thank you so mich !!!!

@tom Derrick Amazing routine....My hips are quite loose now, Sciatica nerve very much relax and I gain 10 cm of flexibility ..Thank you...keep it up!!
Yessss!!! Palms to the ground!! Before following the routine, I could only touch the ground with my finger tips.

Oh hell yeah! Was waiting for a new hamstring follow along. Thank you Tom!
Love this! Really helping me see progress in my flexibility. :)
Follow along videos are the best!

😂 "imagine you have headlights on your bum and you're going to shine them towards the ceiling" 😂 Not just funny, but actually effective!! 😁💛
🤣🤣🤣
It improved my flexibility. Thank you!

Wow huge flex gains I. Just 20 minutes. Thank you 🙏

Great session
My official new favourite, thanks for this!

Another fantastic routine. Thanks Tom
So good, thank you, I try to follow along few times a week
Just went through the routine it was awesome as always... Some nastiness in those calves and easy palms down at the end!
What a great routine!
this routine changed my life, thanks tom, i'm currently close to reach my palms full on the floor

whattajourney this was. It definitely hits deeper than v1 by a lot. That stretch with the blocks is gold. Managed to get my palms on the floor!
Awesome content thank you!
Thank you, this increase my toe touch on the first day!😄
Started with fingertips barely touching floor to palms on floor! Thanks for an excellent follow allow routine!
Hell Yes! I loved the old one, thank you for this
From fingertips to knuckles loving the vids mate
One of the best follow alongs yet my man, class stuff 👍🏼

Very nice. Thank you!!! 🥰

Great routine. Thanks
Great workout Master Warrior!
Great Routine!
One of my fav ever. You are amazing. Thank you and consider yourself supported on patron
First day today! Ouch! I have tight hamstrings this the start! 💪❤️ Thank you!

👍👍👍 there was improvement by the end. Great sequence!
Yes. I need this so badly. Thank yooooo
Thanks for the routine, getting palms to floor and gonna keep going until head to knees!
Thank you! I was able to touch the floor with my fingertips with straight legs!
love it, thanks!
Love this!! And all of the follow alongs! Can you PLEASE make a follow along for tight hip flexors??
Thank you! Finally can put my whole palm on the ground!
Killer on my hams, but, oh so worth the pain! I'll be back for this routine!
So cool! I went from 3/4 down my shins to touching my toes within 1 session. Awesome
This was intense! 😂 I feel great though and will definitely do it again. I had a slight improvement in my pike at the end of the session. Many thanks Tom.
