42 years here. Met on Castro Street in San Francisco, of all places, and have spent our entire adult lives together. Now my husband has Parkinsons and early dementia so I am his care taker. "In sickness and in health..." the love continues. Someday I will be alone on Christmas also, but I won't be a gorgeous young man like Steve but instead an old guy treasuring his memories of what was.
