Mostly boils down to time. There are just too many of them to really keep up with everyone. You have to pick your favorites to get as much of what you like as you can. That, or just be spread so thin that you miss a lot more than you would otherwise.
I have this song on repeat since it came out im like obsessed with how cool it is (also got obsessed with biboo original song now too, you should react to it it is really cool ). This mv + choreo + song feel to me like kpop coded and i just frickin love this ! Thank you for the reaction
Kiara has been consistent with the quality of her songs, she got the right people for the job. Those highs in the background though! I recommend ReGLOSS' original song Feelingradation, Tokoyami Towa's original song ANEMONE and Bijou's live cover of Palette.
Its closer to her usual style but Kiara had a couple tracks dipping into different genres like in "the great wanderer" or "Retrospective" In my mind "Point of view" is a solid album

Some of the songs there include a leitmotif from Suisei’s first original, “Comet”, particularly the song “Moonlightspeed”. Their song, “Midnight Mission” also contains references to the songs in their “Overture” album. MGO recently released an mv for their song “Allegro” from that album, and I highly recommend checking it out! Other songs I’ll rec are “Sirens”by Advent (my oshis), “The Show Goes On”, Myth’s newest original, and Shunkan Heartbeat, to introduce you to the ReGloss girls.
Artists using motifs from previous work was so common at one point, it became somewhat of a cliche. Nowadays, it is generally used sparingly in most pop music because many writers see it as an "easy trick" or even "lazy". I think it works here because of the nature of the fanbase and the ammount of time since Do U first released. Also, it doesn't take over the song here and cause it to lose its identity. It's just a quick little easter egg that you can miss if you're not paying attention.
Since you mentioned the tracking: the dancing motion capture here is actually taken directly from her recent anniversary 3D live (also highly recommended) that was recorded in the fancy Cover studio in Japan, where this song debuted
The choreography is the same but the mo-cap was taken separately for the music video. The MV was already done by the time they had the 3D Live to promote the song. But the mo-cap is still Kiara dancing the same choreo.. just not from the live.

Kiara talked about it in her after talk steam and said that she intentionally arranged it that way so she could use the studio mo-cap data and the fact that she had backup dancers a hand there. There is no reason or time to rerecord the dance a second time for the MV if they already have enough data from the concert. I have also compared the concert and the MV and some parts definitly used same mo-cap data based on some small details. That being said it looks like she might have recorded some extra mo-cap for some special shots for the MV, but a good amout should still be the same recorded data used in the concert. Its just that in quite a few cases they use different angels and delete the backup dancers or repositioned them a bit. They also might have used data from some of the other recording takes that were not used for the concert version in the end if they fit better.
Out of curiosity, is there any active Austrian musician more popular than Takanashi Kiara? Also, Cover should start submitting songs to the Grammy's for consideration.
