Great video! I really enjoy the tips and tricks youre giving us in layman terms before we attempt this ourselves. I broke the clips on the rear tie down covers too, theyre just cheap little clips that im sure most people will break as they work on their own trucks. Keep putting out the great content and it really motivates people when they see you doing it in cold/ crappy conditions. Up here in Canada we cant wait for good weather to work on stuff
Did a similar bumper and light set up the hardest part was indeed under the passenger side dash connecting the wire. Terrible location.. looks good nice work
Thanks. You know what I discovered AFTER doing all this? And maybe you know already, but I should’ve just removed the glovebox. Just 2 push tabs and the whole thing pops out. And then easy access to the wires in the footwell. 🤦♂️
Those Bronco's are pretty rare here in Europe, hell most cool off-road capable cars are nowadays. Would be amazing to take the Bronco through the Alps one day. Have a great weekend 👍🏻
Unfortunately, my JCR experience has been the same- first try for the rear tailgate, the table was too big for the molle panel. They sent me a new one, but sure wish they got it right the first time.
That’s too bad. Hopefully knowing that seems we all have the same issues gives you some solace. Fit and finish is lacking in allot of this aftermarket stuff. If you find a good brand, stick with them.
Looks good! Seriously considered the jcr bumper, but decided to go with the fab four in the back just because of the license plate placement. Going arb up front.. which is a ton of weight by the time I add the winch.. bit concerned there, but hey.. more mods :) .. just noticed you put on the trailrax roof rack as well... mine just arrived, hoping to get it on this weekend :)
The front of mine dips a bit from the weight,.. but not that bad. I came to a realization after putting on the rack,.. I like the way an overland looks,.. but I don’t think I’ll ever use it like an overlander. 🤦♂️ 😅
I found it's easier to access the rear wire from the passenger side rear door (4dr) without taking that panel off at all. Just pry it out enough to connect and chase wire to rear. Chase wire down and run under where jack is. Drill small hole through floor grommet and run wires behind bumper.
Nice. I was kind of going in blind .. and I’m the kind of guy who needs to open it all up to see what’s what. But, what you did is definitely a good way of doing it! 💪
Looked at a similar rear bumper from Havoc Off-road, had similar question, where have you decided to mount license tag? I saw a video about the bike rack on fifth tire, saw you had the tag zip tied still…
Lol. I had this ‘solution’ for about 4 months now but haven’t had time to film it even though it would probably take 1/2 hour (..or 4 hours, the way I do things 😅). Though I’m beginning to like the look of the zip ties, I’m sure I’ll get a ticket sooner than later (no light at night)(and no front plate (needed where I live)). Stay tuned for the video. But in the meantime, if you can’t wait, it has to do with my hitch receiver and is still questionably not legal. 🤷♂️
That looked like a pain to install. Those grommets look pretty janky. And then you RTV them in? 😬 I’ve seen some videos where it’s easier to remove the glovebox than to try to get to that aux wire from underneath. Nice job!
I had to watch rhe vid again , something kept me up all night. Shouldnt the wire in the rear quaterpanel be the switchleg coming from aux switch 4? To wire the lights , all u need is the switchleg , and have each light grounded . Why are you in the front of the bronco in the footwell messing with other wires. The connection shoukd be made in the quater panel.??? Thanks
Good question. The way they wired the bronco is this: they have 6 switches (inside cabin) all fused and powered with the wire ends all in the engine bay on the driver’s footwell side. Then they have a bunch of different wires that run to different parts of the car (front of engine bay, passenger side footwell, etc). Then they have 2 more extension wires from the passenger footwell, one to the top of the front windshield and the other towards the rear (the one in the video). That way, depending on what you needed, they could be covered for multiple wiring scenarios. Do a google image search for “wiring bronco aux switches” and it’ll be the first image. The chart that shows up in the results shows fuses, wire colours and locations. Hope that helps!
My guess is that because the stock plastic clips need to be broken to be removed. And, instead of manufacturing new (expensive, complicated?) clips, they decided to use the grommet and silicone. 🤷♂️. The solution is actually not that bad. They just have to double check they’re sending the right accessory package with the bumper. 😅

Thanks man. Very encouraging.
Doing it in the cold makes us 🇨🇦 strong! 💪😁
Keep up the great videos! It's only a matter of time before you take-off man!
Thanks brother. Much appreciated. Trying to keep up the momentum.

Hey, if you remove the glove box . . .
Saved for reference. Thx!
I’m loving the Super Seven
It’s awesome and, oh-so unique.
…but are you commenting on the wrong video? 🤔
One thing I notice is that people take off the rear tire when removing the bumper. When I have taken mine off, I just open the tail gate.
Yeah,.. I guess that’s way smarter! 💡😄

Same but opposite. Would love to drive something sporty through the alps… 🏎️
@@neverendingweekend Taking my Donkervoort D8 there this summer.
I love the bumper ijust got an ADD bumper so that is why i watched going to put light in it on my raptor
I almost bought the ADD too. Enjoy your bumper!

I’ll sub your channel for the “fix” on the receiver hitch.

I finally did that license plate video. Hopefully it's useful to you in some way.. 🤞
Matches imo. Good job.
Thanks!

Hmm,.. glovebox.. 🤦♂️
The parking sensors are actually really secure. I’d be surprised if they ever move or fallout.

Got it thanks, for what we paid they should have run the switch legs all over the truck. . Thank you for clearing that up for me
@@anthonygallo3576 💯, not only run them everywhere, make them easy to get to! 💡😉
Why didn't jcr just make the sensor hole the same as the stock bumper and use the stock clips? This is poor design.

I just removed one without breaking it.
@@WindsofChange2112 nice. I’m kind of hm-fisted/impatient when it comes to this kind of stuff. Perfect for doing mechanical work 🙄
I summated K2 and i dare say it was easier than that install.
‘I summated K2’? Whatever you mean,.. glad it was easier than my install 👍
