Mine came with the B&O system. It's not bad...
Mine came with 35's, not bad, I have nitto 37s for later.
Have a night vision driving system I took off of my Raptor f150
It has ir driving lights, need a roof rack and pull out fridge. Great for climbing onto the roof for night hunting.

those lights need a lot of power so I feel like you skipped a bunch of important stuff. Did you get power from the battery? somewhere in the fuse box? did you run relays? Video went from here's the switch to here its all installed.

    • @ChaseGentry
      @ChaseGentry  Год назад +2

The bronco has factory auxiliary switches that are related with two 30 amp relayed circuits and four 10 amp circuits. There are pigtails pre-wire so I did not include that as there’s a ton of videos covering that already.

Whats the point if you are lower than stock low beams? Need to stagger the lows with 1 set, 1 set slightly higher than highs. Amber needs to be same as high beam.
Amber is to use instead of highs in fog.
Whites are to add distance for white light and brightness in high beam area for high speed driving. The roof is for much higher so you dont outdrive your headlights.

Awesome video, Chase! I have a major concern/question about this... I was told that any time you have fog/sand/snow, amber is key. You said as much. I've also seen several videos from off-road experts who say that amber lights are on the whole much friendlier to your own and your buddies' night vision/dark adjustment, which can affect your and their safety, particularly off-road. I've also heard the same instructors and experts say that white light isn't in any way superior for what you are trying to observe when you're off-road or on. Why not, on this setup (not yours) or your own, wouldn't you go with 100% amber except for the stock headlights?

My set up is primarily amber. I do like to have couple whites for wide open never ending desert like terrain. I’ve out ran lights before in these conditions. But otherwise ambers are definitely the way to go!

This is so informative I appreciate it I'm going to install my light bar on my Bronco tomorrow. Also I was wondering for the ground wire do you have to unplug the battery to do that? I never worked with wires before so I'm just trying to be extra cautious when doing this but I was just wondering if that's something that has to be done or not?

I'm hooking up pod fog lights to my front bumper this weekend! Can I just wire the two red wires from the pod lights to the front grill non-powered circuit violet and grey, then ground the two black wires in the front gill somewhere, then connect the violet and grey wire by the dash to the Aux 1 switch wire color yellow for power? Or would that not work? Thanks for any advice.

i have a 2022 bronco and when i ran my light behind the cowl, there isn't the cut-out as there is on the 2021, so my cowl doesn't sit back down flush. Any thoughts on how to fix? :(

Did the power circuit come with the kit? I absolutely hate doing wiring. I've dropped rear ends, supercharger installs, suspension installs, Long tube headers, heads, clutch's all on previous Mustangs I've owned but I still hate wiring it makes my brain melt.

    • @ChaseGentry

Yes each set of two lights from Heretic came with a harness that powers the lights. I did off camera take two of those harness and made one main harness that feeds all 6 bumper lights. The 4 whites came with one harness that spilt off to two ends. But I wanted i main harness from auxiliary switch outputs on firewall to bumper.

Why is it that everyone who owns a bronco lets it stay so damned filthy.
Mine gets washed every week and detailed.
