    Great video, definitely plan to do this myself but with the m2m bracket/panel

      What’s the m2m? If it’s for the traction board,.. you might want to wait for my mod review video. The short of it is: the running board sits too low and impedes departure angle.
      But if it’s for a gas tank… 👍

      @@neverendingweekend ill keep that in mind and measure twice but I'm a little concerned about adding dynamic/fluid weight onto the hinge and having it move around on the trail. Figured the boards would be lighter. M2m: mountains to metal

    Placed an order for a '24... guess I won't be seeing it until '25 or possibly '26. Will most likely cancel the order. Bummed, been watching so many vids and was anxious to get started on my upgrades..😢 BTW, ordered a 2 door, 7 speed manual with sasquatch, can't find this combo anymore in the '23

      That was me a couple years ago. Watched endless videos until I got mine. Then it was at the dealer for another 5-6 months for a recalled airbag before I even got to drive it. 🤷‍♂️
      Might want to keep your place in line while you do what you need to do until then. Who knows.
      That’s a beauty build. I would’ve got the same if they offered the Sasquatch with manual with the v6. 🤷‍♂️. This is the first automatic car I’ve ever had. Still love it though. Good luck with your bronco! 👍

    I didn’t understand why you needed to unclip the gate assist to install the initial plate. The shims seem to be just cautionary, yes?
    Like the boards higher.

    • @neverendingweekend
      @neverendingweekend  Год назад +1

      I’m not sure either. Almost feels like that would just be another way to keep the door inline. The shims you definitely need. Even now, the space between the door and frame when closed is too close (it touches). And I’ve even tried to realign it afterwards.
      I’ve decided not to put the boards on the back. They’re either too high (probably ok, but moves on the highway) or too low (lowers departure clearance).
      Now that I have a trailrax rack, I’ll put them either on top or on the side. Here’s the video of the trailrax mod and install if you’re curious: ruclips.net/video/zBIC4K5pVos/видео.htmlsi=ibJla3azk6l8AUtR

    Dude I've been making a list of upgrades for months, and I have pretty much every choice you have made here. How are you liking the front bumper / winch setup? Seems like a good combo. Also, I was thinking of attaching a krazy beaver shovel to my tailgate reinforcement rather than traction boards. Trying to decide between this HB one, and the JCR one. Awesome video!

      Thanks.
      I still really like how the FabFours bumper looks. Fit and finish are 👍. The Warn winch is good. Has someone on our group use a cheaper winch that failed. I’m comfortable with the tried and true Warn brand. Have used it extensively helping others. 😏
      I really don’t like the traction board on the rear. Hangs too low when off-roading. And is a bit worrisome on the highway, even though I know it won’t fly off. The shovel would be cool. And I don’t think you can loose with either the HB or JCR. The only reason I got the HB is because of their accessory attachments.
      Good luck with the build!

      Do the boards interfere with the backup sensors?
      No lock on the boards?
      Why is it so cold there?

    • @neverendingweekend
      @neverendingweekend  Год назад

      @@swooshdave my sensors are messed up because of the front bumper. No allowance for sensors so they’re unplugged and I get an error. If I get the courage enough when the weather is better, I’m thinking of drilling holes in the front bumper. I don’t really miss the sensors but I hate the error message I get every time I turn on the car.
      No lock on the boards. I’ll only put them on if I go off-roading. 🤷‍♂️
      Because we’re further from the sun then you are. 🤓

      Do you still like this set up? I have the Hammerbuilt brace, I like how you mounted this. I just don’t need it all the time.
