    Hayden's Chevy Caprice
    Hey guys! In this week's episode, we finally put the new JBA headers on the Caprice
    We took off the old manifolds that were restricting the air quite a bit. The new headers were made for a Chevrolet SS but bolted right where the manifolds were.
    Check them out!

    2014 ss parts fit the 2011 to 2013 ppvs? What did you guys do for the cats? We see you cut them off . Did you add v band clamps to each end and replace them? You make it look easy with out a lift.
    Keep the videos coming thank you.

    • @BlackIceProductions
      @BlackIceProductions  3 года назад +3

      correct, this 2012 can use the parts from the SS, same idea so many interchangeable parts. as for the cats we got rid of them all together and just welded pipe in place of them. now it is headers straight back, after all of the exhaust modifications! i’m glad it looked easy because it was a little bit of a struggle, but the help of our guys and those drive on ramps were great!

      @@BlackIceProductions ok so I would have to keep the cats due to the uncool laws here in ny. So I guess I would have to get the car up higher and look at how much pipe to leave and add a v band clamp.
      Have you added a trans dip stick ? I have one to install but I ran into an issue with my impact gun and I didn't get to finish. When I do the headers I'll do the stick as well.

    • @BlackIceProductions

      @@jeffboyer8214 Yeah those emissions are no fun but not many laws here in IN. we haven't done a trans stick, but you will have to update us on yours! hope it all goes well! email in the description for questions and showing off your build.

      @@BlackIceProductions I'm having real hard time getting what I need, my tuner wants me to get kooks but they're stupid expensive, and if you buy them on kooks website u have to agree not to install on a registered vehicle or be subjective to a 4900 dollar a day fine, clean air act!

      @@BlackIceProductions the clean air act is fed law, in order to complete your order u have to enter your VIN and all your vehicle info! Your immediately in violation as far as the epa goes, 4800 dollars and change per day. This is rediculous, even catted pipes are illegal. I spoke with a rep at kooks, they don't sell in CA at all! I tried to get them from summit, NG, I saw the waiver on another website but can't recall. It's not the issue of getting pulled over that's the least of your worries that'll probably never happen I live in Florida the point is the EPA has all your information I'm guessing it goes directly to them and then they can contact you by letter advising you that you're in violation of the clean Air act. I'm not overstating this believe me when I tell you just go on Cook's website and you can see.
