How many people here wish their neighborhoods had this kinda curb pickings?!!!!! Goodness.
If he depended on what is curbside where I live, he’d have to get a real job!
Where I live only junk goes to curb,
hERE IN SWEDEN THEY WEIGHT the garbage ,so you pay after weight.Food you trow away you put in an special can brown, the other one is green .You pay rent on both garbage-cans.You are not allow to use your own cans.Iron,glass-bottles ,cardboard,plastic-bags you transport your-self to special places.Even from your garden you transport.Nothing goes to landfill. It`s not easy for old people that don`t have a car.
I live in a high end rental area...last and first garbage day of the month...good pickins.
Should have snagged the folding wood chair. That way you'll have a chair for flea markets.
Or just put a sign on it saying "rest awhile" as some older folk would love to have a sit down maybe. At the yard sale I just had an elderly gentleman came and sat on our chair on the porch and was conversing with me and my son. He ended up spending $35 on things. He'll likely be back when I have another 1 as he now knows he can sit on our porch lol
@@MissX905 : Just a small act of kindness goes a long way ! :)
The folding chair is probably oak and while not super sturdy people always love an extra chair to seat people at the table when you have company!
@@laurahopwood3332 : Never can tell when extra company comes !
Old towels would make a good donation to animal shelters - my local ones are always needing them.
Taco, the first pot you picked is a double boiler. Used for melting chocolate for dipping. I had a hard time finding one. Probably do pretty good on that.
and.... pick up ALL pots and pans and lids.... oh my.... $$$
you could donate the big band cds to a nursing home,or retirerment home
Nice idea!
Or try listening to them (lol). Wacky idea I know, I didn't grow up during that era , but I like big band music......
Peace to you too Taco! Hang in there with the entertaining runs, love what you do ! A fan, Patty
You don't know Chantal? It is HIGH END bake and cookware - and you put it back because it wasn't Pyrex! One bowl is $19 on ebay. Next time you see "kitchen stuff", just take the WHOLE BOX and then look up the items on ebay. People want that stuff, including the glass bowls with designs that you also disregarded. You sell at flea markets, so why not take it, even if YOU don't use it? Others use it! I would have bought that set, it was good!
Yep my thoughts exactly he should have just taken every box of the house where stuff there's a market for every single piece he's thinking maybe scrap the pots and pans I don't know..
I would have
taken all
those dishes 😃
Nice free stuff. If I had a van that big, some of that furniture would’ve come with me. At least those old folding chairs. People trash a lot of decent stuff there. Good for you, sad for some of the items.
You know you can survive having your own You Tube channel when you can ignore all the advice, smile, laugh, try to explain, and move on - Livin’ the Dream! You passed life’s test Taco. PEACE!
I know! this guy takes a beating in the comments sometimes, but people are doing it to look out for his bottom line.
Please tell us that the mobility / health aid items you pick up are going to people that need it and not being scrapped for 0.20 cents. That would be saving the planet and the people on it. 💛
I never, EVER, see stuff this good in the trash where I live. You must be loving this. Congrats!
I've been following you for about a year. I have watched many of your videos and I still can't figure out why you leave some really good furniture and housewares. I understand trying to sell it can be a problem, but one man's junk is another man's treasure and some of the stuff you have left, was treasure to me ... and I'm a woman!
You’ve been happy cheery lately, keep doing whatever it is thats making you smile.
The wooden folding chair!!!
You are A GOOD MAN "CHARLIE BROWN" ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP OUT!! PLEASE DONT EVER CHANGE!! I AM GLAD SALSA OWNS YOU.
You missed the boat on that kitchen stuff in the first stop. There were Tupperware glasses there that would have sold at the flea market as well as the yellow bowls you put back. Why not just throw the boxes in the truck. The spice rack looked like junk. You should have left that and taken the folding wood chair.
If the porta pot and Walker are in good shape you can donate it to hospice. They appreciate all donations.
I love watching your videos of trash picking!! I think this was a pretty good pick! IT doesn't look like a lot but some good pieces! We had one guy in our area who is a scraper ..... I have mad respect for him! He always has washer or dryer in the back of his truck sometimes a grill🤣! Keep up the good work!
Sewers like myself will repair the spice rack and use for supplies. I love the small folding chair
Last time you took old VHS movies over some really solid chairs - now you take cd's worth of a couple of bucks and leave a nice folding chair and mid-century furniture.
#IMSCREAMING
I would have taken that chair in a heartbeat!
Just wanted to say I recently started watching your vids, I even click the like button and shared on my facebook page. That's rare for me todo, but wanted to say thanks, I am living the dream through you because of work (7 days a week), I can no longer go out and sell at markets. Keep up the great job Taco. I truly appreciate your vids. James T
I was screaming for you to take the kitchen item boxes, donate what won’t sell. There was still good stuff in those boxes. You did awesome today on your finds. Why on this Earth would people throw stuff like this out. So glad Taco is doing what he is doing. I would hate to see what fellow Americans from all over the country are throwing away.
I've seen people throw out their entire living room set because it's a year old and they want something brand new
I like those brown stacking bins. Seems like you could use something like that in your garage/warehouse for organization.
Wow you could have furnished a house in your 1st 2 stops, unreal pots & pans & stuff today. Say hi to your pretty pouch
I like that your wearing sunglasses 😎! You’ll thank yourself later in life👍🏻😳
Just an FYI...when you were going through the housewares stuff in the very beginning you missed the blue and green Starbucks ice cream bowls...people love Starbucks stuff....
Those are selling fast on Ebay. Anything Starbucks.
Andie , yeah I wanted them.
Like the copper pice. Your nice how u take time to listen to people when u shop in there yard 😊. Your very pleasant. ! Tina Randall in California
I could see someone come out of their house after you pack up your van and the person was having a yard sale. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That copper- brass vase is beautiful on it's own, you certainly don't need fake flowers, and definitely not real flowers with water- either the water will leak or the vase will rust. Nice find, though. Where's Salsa? You forgot to show her.
What a haul! You are one lucky guy! That was a real treasure run.
Hi nice housewares..nice neighborhoods...a lot of treasures the vase pitcher is nice..thanks for ride take care, Margaret n Iceland
U can use the shovel for your stone
God bless this people who left the kitchen tools 💙🌷🕊💁♀️
Wish you had picked up that great wooden folding chair. I DON'T think that mid-century looking shelf thing looked liked pressed wood. The metal bred box was great.
Hi, Taco! Looks like your neighborhoods are all outside antique stores! It's really amazing! That table would have been good for the flea market if the legs folded. I think you really found some great items today! All for FREE! Thanks for taking us along!
😊🌮🐈
My favorite day with my favorite man.
Colander, not cauldron. You find the best items. I needed 1/2 that stuff at the 1st stop. That old Pepsi box.
😅 I caught that too!
I guess he thought he was Harry Potter. 😆
I like all the dishware. I'm glad you saved the walkers, a lot of people need those after surgery or an accident. Bedrails good too. Great job Taco Stacks! Stack some Tacos!
holy cow people where you live get rid of nice stuff.
Use that bundt cake pan for a dog food bowl it keeps a dog eating fast
Its probably better to use the copper brass pitcher as decorative vase rather than for food. Cooper should be lined to eat from.
It is a decorative item and never intended to be used for food or drink.
A interesting brass and copper pitcher. Thanks for taking us on another great adventure. Hugs
I hope he gets at least $15 for it at the flea market
Nicer stuff for kitchen on curb than I have !
Just a small idea about "saving the earth a little bit each time" like you say:
Why not use reusable water bottles? Those tiny single use plastic ones are not helping.
Those tiny, single use plastic ones can be recycled.
That's a huge idea...plastic water bottles are the worst...so many people use them. Ugh.
Refill single use bottles from our very good tap water - fill half, freeze, then fill with cold tap water & take on trips etc. After 6 - 7 uses they taste a bit off & get recycled. Good for iced tea also.
Hey Taco donate the toilet since its new, to a senior home! Pats n treat for Salsa!😊😊🐆🐆
"(Breadbox) has a pretty gnarly dint in it." CHUCKS it into the bin!
You left the folding chair I was screaming get it. Ice cream in the vase? lol
LOL! I wanted him to grab that armoire and the chair and book cases, there was so much stuff that he didn't take!
People need to understand what sells in your area may not his. I commented before about how the old sewing machines I can not give away and many try to dispute this. He lives in a rural area and obviously knows what is worth picking up and what isn't.
That brass/copper pitcher is better described as a ewer.
Are there no women's centers in that area? People putting good kitchen wear ,furniture ,out .Mind boggling!
I keep asking the same thing! Especially when you see the kids bikes and toys that they could use and car seats! I'm gobsmacked!!
All those things can be reuse
Hello, Taco. Love from the Philippines. You're such a great guy. I like that you're so positive and industrious. You were the first trash picker I ever saw on you tube. Keep safe. God bless.
I don't understand why ppl put their items on the side of the road..why don't they donate? Blows my mind..
Right? Womans shelter, homeless shelters...Salvation Army.
I know! That stuff looked better than what's in my kitchen right now lol
So wasteful!
I agree with you guys 100%. This breaks my heart people throwing things away that many people wish they had.
@@TheVintageBumbleBee At the Salvation Army in my town I heard the manager telling 1 guy he had to much stuff and the back room was full and he more less turned the guy away. I was shocked he did that. Then at the other used big name thrift store they take anything and some of it is pure crap but they put it out anyways and for a high $. Some stuff is just junk there :(. Some thrift stores are just in it for the $.
I had a friend that had 2 tires he dragged them week after week to the flee market. Odd size but great tread. Finally he told himself if no body bought them this time he get rid of them. A guy sees them and gets all excited. He was looking for that odd size and could not find them. SO you just never know who will be at the flee market.!!!!!
8:00 random Hardware on the curb guy... Love it. Too bad he moved
10:00 those trash compactors are crazy heavy.
That one shelf with the curved dividers- crafters would snap up! Same with the plastic one with all the shelves!
Absolutely! I could fill that shelf with the curved dividers with cardstock and scrapbook paper. I think it was a record rack. And records are about the same size as my cardstock, 12x12.
Nice video of your life....your humility shines thr....good job
2:43 - those were probably the lid selections to that " nice little cauldron thing " which was taken.
Ow, that 60’s shelf...! Think it would sell for at least €200 here in the Netherlands...
Some nice finds Taco :). I just had a yard sale on the weekend I made $148 , yard sale lasted for only 5hrs. so that was making good $. I picked up a small child's bike with the middle shocks and also a bathroom mirrored medicine cabinet they're in the online auction and I hope to get $30- $45 for both items. We've got 40 some lots in the online auction so hope to make $200-$300, will see if people are willing to bid high lol Thx for sharing
Can't believe you sometimes, you take a $1 basket and pass on a $20 shelf,I know you always say you know what sells at your flea, but every time I have shelves no mater what size, what material, or what kind I sell like hot cakes, but like you say it is what it is
Me too!
Marie Chrisman I am always baffled by what he does and does not pick up.
I would think hiswarehouse could use a few of those shelves for organizing.
Pass on that beautiful armoire? I'd definitely grab that.
I Love this Show! I watch it at Night All the time! Amazing the Staff you find! Good Luck One The Big One!
Nice new pots!
Lots of good stuff , you're a good guy helping out the pizza man . Peace .
Double boiler pots are really expensive. Wish I'd found that!
Meeee freaking too....that was nice!
Woohoo taco you’re almost have 200 thousand subs so exciting!!
If people where I live in Wisconsin just threw there stuff on the ground it would sit there for sure 🙂🙂 our trash service would not pick it up
A day without Taco Stacks just is what it is.....nice finds today.....
Very sweet to hear you speak of "pizza guy" as your best friend. Maybe you can have him on sometime.
Hey Taco✌That was defiantly a great pickin day😁
You should have taken all the housewares and sold it at the flea. I saw a few useful items! Good haul!
Your vids are so fun and interesting. You described everything as you are picking and keep it moving **thumbs up**
Hi Taco. FYI "walkers" can be folded up almost flat very easily
Then they take up very space. Love your videos.
I wonder if that small TV was working - I sold my parent's vintage RCA 13" TV for $95 on eBay (plus shipping) - people like them for retro gaming. The fake wood grain is also retro and some people like it.
Gosh...hope you aren't scrapping those new stainless pans. You even picked up a lid holder with them to show the glass lid in.
Great video, the things people put out for trash.
There is a pitcher, similar to the one you found, selling on eBay for $89.99.💵💵💵👍👍👍
Lynlalalala it’s a Ewer.
@@jeanineattenweiler4803 Thank you. Learning something new every day. 😉😉😉
Great job and I like your trash picking days very much. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day.
I like that folding chair. That would be so fun to find the good stuff.
Have you ever tried to sell the propane tanks at the flee market? Even the old ones can be traded for full ones.
I love your trash picking videos, such good stuff!
A fashionable mullet look lmao...who in the hell.😳😂
the brass and copper thing in an ewer. I only know the word because of crossword puzzles.
If that desk is the same as the one I had, it's about 40+ years old
Where have you been, Guy...we’ve missed you...from SC
Your van eats the gloves like washers and dryers eat socks. Take care, your neighbor from Delaware.
Great stuff today!
You are missing so many things you could use for your home😳
Weird. Cassette tapes, especially classic rock, have been bringing me good money lately, better then cds and comparable to good vinyl. New trend maybe?
Nice finds Taco I really enjoyed this treasure hunt .Something I thought would be good flea market items you didn't get but you know what sells for you and I don't so .But ya love the hunt .PEACE ✌✌✌✌✌🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶
More good finds again like that copper big vase thing, spice rack keep. Great video
You missed the Tupperware cups ! Lol wish I could come behind you or before .😊
Holly Mollie you sure got some sweet stuff today. Enjoyed!
Ice cream???lol✌🏼
:) yes good luck with getting it out.
Nice WOODEN folding chair😱😢handy to have around...😀
I love your trash picking. Keep up the good work !
The brass piece goes by the fireplace for long matches or twigs
The walker and the porta potty can go to a retirement home
If people have older loved ones that need/use them and they are in good shape, they will buy them
Also for going camping, especially if you have younger children.
I live in Memphis, our trash pick up is a truck that picks up the can, if your lucky.....they don't pick up anything on the curb....if it isn't in the can....SOL....GREAT VID....THANKS
I'd love to trash pick your area then
Hello taco
More great finds
Always looking forward too your next one
