I would have grabbed the gray box. Free is the best price. I never have room in my car or storage, but the bar stools would have been a good grab, too.
Nice neighborhood to pick up free stuff, and close to where you live. Can't beat that! Even a day late, you found good stuff left over. Thanks for sharing.
So interesting to see different Pickers and what they consider treasure. Nice that you and that other guy we were looking for different things, so no competition.
Heavy trash day is awesome. Go out the night before. No one sees you and I grabbed nice bar stools, and art work. Weirdest thing I found was new dog collars with tags and several ice chest.
One either loads it up for the Good Will or leave on the curb, hoping ppl will come by saving the person a trip to haul items off. Geez I never thought to drive around AFTER yard sales looking for stuff, but think I will from now on, esp. hit the community yard sale leftovers, haha
Ive always heard in Ametica people throw out really good stuff.Im amazed where i live even stores sell chipped and broken stuff nothing is thrown out.You could have picked out more stuff like all the tea plates and mugs.
I cannot believe the stuff that people throw out in their trash. Around where I live people donate anything usable. It's insane that all that nice furniture and clothing was just tossed.
it's not tossed to the trash. It's just put to the curb for pickers. It'll all be gone before trash day. Every time I put stuff to the curb it's gone in less than 24hrs & I don't even have much car traffic on my street.
It is tossed out for the trash, if someone happens to come by and get something so be it. Unfortunately it's all put out for the trash man to take it away
Robert Walton It’s not tossed to trash. It was a community wide yard sale day. They know people will drive by afterward and grab free stuff. It always happens. And in my area there is no bulk pick up for trash, so they garbage man won’t take it.
I was just commenting that every area may not be like yours. Where I live anything put out on the curb is for the trash man to take and the people know it's going in the trash if nobody takes it
Omg you're killing me!! I would have picked up so much that you left behind! Straight to FB Marketplace!! Lol! And I cannot believe you left those stickers!! I literally shouted "noooo!!" 😂🤣 I am with stickers how you are with pens 😂🤷♀️🤦♀️
I have a hit it and go mentality. Quickly access, grab, and put it in the car. Seconds pass by and you miss that next great item by seconds whether it be freebies at the next house or at the next yard sale.
Passes up a billion more valuable things, grabs the markers. This is a train wreck. If she hadn't picked up the thread display I would have passed out by now.
@@maryluwhittle6366 Woah! My comment wasn't meant to be negative. This was her first trash picking video and I think she did GREAT! You have to realize she sells online... it doesn't make sense for her to pick up a lot of that stuff. Plus, if you watch her other garage sale videos you realize a lot of that stuff is really junk to her bc she can get so much more - better stuff. She already has a huge inventory with over 6k things so she can't take everything home. The thrill of what she might take and what she left behind MADE this video. It was sooo fun to watch 🙂
The other trick, if you can handle it when searching through garbage, is to go at 3 or 4 in the morning driving around, before the early bird pickers are out. When it's dark out you look for shiny things that reflect off your lights. Some very enjoyable time spent doing that. At one point I had 32 bicycles just from the garbage. I ended up donating them to a Caribbean island that had just had a flood and needed them. My favorite find was a complete Sansui stereo component system that was wrapped up in strong plastic and left out in the rain. Separate amplifier and tuner - the system is that good.
Hi Tina. You found some fantastic free finds! I LOVE searching for yard sale left overs! Good job. I always look forward to seeing what you found next! So fun!
I love your videos. I've had my fair share of picking the leftovers and it's a blast! I was cringing when you left the campfire coffee pot for the scrapper as he will get next to nothing for it and you would have easily gotten $20 to $40 on eBay, check the solds. It was in great shape and the little glass knob on top was still intact and not broken. Next time you'll know. lol Just lookin out for you Tina. :)
Aquagirl1111 I know ! She left a lot of sellable items, but she’s probably not able to list fast enough. Ppl who do this need space to put it all and time to list. It’s not as easy as it looks. Ppl cram their houses with sellable stuff, but can’t sell it fast enough, but donating to Churches is better than thrift stores cause thrift stores throw out good items.
Great finds. I live in a College town and the stuff they throw out is crazy as they can't take it with them. Usually they put things on facebook and say curb deals free and give their address. Great fun for sure. I have lots of free wall pictures from Kirklands that way. 35.00 on the stickers and all free. Thanks for sharing.
That double spouted vase you left behind that was with the southwestern decor is a Native American Indian Wedding Vase. Depending on how old it is, and how well the craftsmanship is, you can make a good sale on it. I sold one in my Etsy shop recently, and listed another one a few weeks ago.
I used to live in a state that had big trash days once a month and I loved going around like this and getting all the cool free stuff. where I live now in the Seattle area Nobody Does this. I wish they did.
Wow great stuff. Wish I had been there. So much of my Christmas things were stolen, plus the material and craft stuff. I would have been doing the happy dance.
I can't believe how much stuff people let go to the landfill. Most of that stuff was not trash at all and could have easily been reused or rehomed. I am glad to see you and others who take the time to save things from the landfill. I loved those southwestern wall pieces.
And the really sad part is they don't care that it goes to the landfill. I passed by this one woman's house after I guess they had a yard sale and I saw a lot of things I wanted. She came outside and said, "yeah that's all garbage, feel free to take everything away and I wouldn't be offended if you empty my garbage cans too since you like garbage so much". She then shut her door and only reopened it to tell me that she has more garbage for me
Grab it ALL. Why not? She grabs Bob the Builder, but leaves the Star Wars behind. That aluminum peculator too. 15:58 grab those blue and white bags. They look new. OMG it's killing me how much stuff she leaves behind. I don't get it. Plus, she could have grabbed some good bins instead of throwing all that loose stuff in her car.
Curbside leftovers.... laundry basket was good condition. Wire shelves were nice. Expensive in stores.those bar stools looked in good condition. Nice tennis racket, ball and baseball gloves for kids. Swim floaters are cute for youngsters, teapot, old coffee pot.
Wow. What a great haul. You saved a lot of money and you can make a ton of money with all of that. That's so cool that they can leave "trash" (really lots of good stuff) out like that. You can't do that in CA. Does the trash company get out of the truck and pick it all up? Here in CA it needs to be in trash cans. I remember going out like that on trash day in Long Island with my mother 60 years ago. She got a lot of furniture. I'm jealous but happy for you. Thanks for sharing again.
I’ve been watching some of your old videos and I mean this in the most friendliest and funny way…I think your car needs a “Gentle cleaning “ 😂…seriously love your videos!
That’s wrong that they don’t call a thrift store to pick up the rest. That’s what I do. I call them 2 weeks in advance and tell them I need a Tuesday pick up. If nothing is left I cancel that pick up. This way locals can pick through it too.
The worse I've seen it made me want to throw up until I realized that someone with some sense will get those items, lol. This actually made me sick to watch. lol
She forgot to pick up the TV's. That barstool is worth money Coffee pot is a good one worth bucks. Goodwill will accept most of that stuff from yard sales. Flea markets will take the small TV's and furniture. Toys and coffee mugs and dinnerware will be accepted by Goodwill. I also do garbage runs. I look for discarded TV's Stereos and various electronics and antiques. Upper middle class residents throw out a fortune of goods that could go to Goodwill and flea markets
thay thread organizer is gold. i had one but the spools were broken. oh, yeah girl, i know what it is like to live out of your car. i bet if you cleaned it you would find treasure...lol. love me a curb pick...if its free its for me!
I would pick up anything electronic. The football game, was that a Walkman style CD player? Also the frames, bar stools, bed frame. It's fun to pick virtually but it would be cool if you did it live one day. :D
At the 2nd house there was a tall wicker basket, I can't help myself, wicker & pottery always calls my name. Good haul-be safe. Nice neighborhood. Seems like you passed up alot of good stuff, a cute tea pot & cups, a candle in a wrought iron holder but I guess you have to be more specific for resale & that tall coffee pot (?). Good days work.
the wooden boxes at the 2nd stop would have been in my car so fast! People are nuts about stuff like that for Primitive/shabby decor...not something I'd want to ship but for a local sale maybe(of course I'd probably keep them)
I like how you left the toaster and that because you already have them. Someone who drives past might be in need of them. You're lovely, I just subbed too. Excited to see more of your videos

You seem to leave a lot of good stuff behind. The grey and brown boxes are sure fire sellers. You took the one with writing on it. It didn't have a lid when the others did and would have been more useful for a lot of people.
Wow, you get to drive around and pick up stuff for free. We never get the chance to do that over here in the UK. Really enjoyed it, thanks for sharing. I've subbed. x
That Windbag album is worth about $20-$25 on eBay and is vintage. I couldn’t believe u just threw it on the car floor. Could break it that way. The wooden ducks looked like sellers for eBay. I donate to Churches and pantries now direct cause thrift stores throw out so much stuff now. I have dropped off items to them like pricey like new expensive kids ice skates and watched the guy toss them into a truck dumpster!! They were originally $275. They could have sold them for $50 easy. I prefer to watch the faces of the appreciators at the outdoor pantry cause they are needy ppl.
L G yes the thrift stores are higher priced now and have so much volume given to them that they ship it to other locations or just get rid of it. They make big money these days and only a small percentage goes to charitable use.
Doris Shanks Plus, they pick through for themselves first. It’s so wrong they charge more than the gap and old navy do with their sales. So, ppl can buy new if they look for good sales at good retail stores. Thrift stores need to sell many of their items for a dollar. They’d get more ppl.
Not sure, if I'll ever actually go to the flea market so I passed this time around. I have a certain amount of space and dedicate that to my online items. This was kind of for fun and just testing the waters. I may do the market one day, but not sure
I seen a few things i wanted lol. The tea pot set to make a decorative birdhouse, the tall wooden house you said was broke, and a few more items. Wish I ould have been there lol.
At our community sales, the items put to the curb after the sale are for either the American Rescue Workers, or Goodwill. The sale organizers always make arrangements for a charity to pick up the curbside items. And whoever they called, starts at one end of the community and makes their way to the end. I guess everyone is aware, because I don't ever see people picking through the leftovers.
I don't know if you sell your stuff at a yard. Sale or whatever. But that coffee pot aluminum coffee pot would have been nice to put a plan in and hang it on a hanger, a hook in a flower bed or in a garden. You also could have used it for cooking on an open campfire with the grill. Take like a wire shelf from AO refrigerator and put over wood. And make your your fire and you could have coffee. Or hot chocolate it would make a lot anyway, just saying some people don't see the. See the use out of things like um like I do I think from trash. To treasure it's such a shame it's in the trash.I would love to be there.Would have gotten it cause it's old
Wonder why the people won't donate the stuff! But If I get a dollar that's a dollar I didn't have before! Flea market all the way baby or yard sale! ALL the old Nerf guns and water soakers yeah people want it just like the Legos!
@11:05 The bail handle coffee pot is great for camping. This is the perfect time of the year to sell them.
When I bought my cottage, previous owner left one in the cabinet, believe me I’ve used it on the gas stove when storms knocked out the electric.
I would have grabbed the gray box. Free is the best price. I never have room in my car or storage, but the bar stools would have been a good grab, too.
I cant imagine leaving the vintage wooden boxes at the 2nd stop but then grabbing a brand new wine box with no lid at the 3rd stop.
Wooden boxes can always be useful, whether refinished or not!
😊😅😅

We used that coffee pot when we went camping. I used to sew and would have loved that thread holder. Love that "bar" sign! Cool wooden box!

I thought so too

love that everyone keeps it from landfills great job
Goodness. iv never seen anyone so picky. what a lot of lovely stuff she left behind..

Plus, they pick through for themselves first. It’s so wrong they charge more than the gap and old navy do with their sales. So, ppl can buy new if they look for good sales at good retail stores. Thrift stores need to sell many of their items for a dollar. They’d get more ppl.
Hi Tina, I would have picked up the wood boxes...
Loved the vase and stand!!!
Thanks for sharing your story.
You are very lucky to find all that. I never find bulk like that. Also a gemini .
I find too much bulk lol
Lots of fun.❤
You missed taking a lot of good flea market stuff. The two wood boxes, the camping coffee pot, the band saw blades.
Awesome video, I do this all the time.
Those wood boxes were so cool,
the table is awesome
I don't know if you sell your stuff at a yard. Sale or whatever. But that coffee pot aluminum coffee pot would have been nice to put a plan in and hang it on a hanger, a hook in a flower bed or in a garden. You also could have used it for cooking on an open campfire with the grill. Take like a wire shelf from AO refrigerator and put over wood. And make your your fire and you could have coffee. Or hot chocolate it would make a lot anyway, just saying some people don't see the. See the use out of things like um like I do I think from trash. To treasure it's such a shame it's in the trash.I would love to be there.Would have gotten it cause it's old
I would go with you if I lived in the area, it's amazing the treasures you can find!! 1 mans trash, is someone else's treasure!!

I agree cause thrift stores throw out a lot of good stuff.
Wonder why the people won't donate the stuff! But If I get a dollar that's a dollar I didn't have before! Flea market all the way baby or yard sale! ALL the old Nerf guns and water soakers yeah people want it just like the Legos!
They won't donate it because hauling it to the curb for the trash man to take away is easier
Great free haul!!!
Those Styrofoam coolers are excellent for people that have aquarium s. They work great for transporting fish and keeping temps stable.
You amaze me that you leave so much good stuff. You don't bother to pick up China or any pictures
