Enjoyed the video but something about pointing a camera at a guy while negotiating with them doesn’t sit well with me. Some don’t mind but others you can tell aren’t comfortable with it and feel pressured to accept whatever number you throw at them

$230 for the Mario edition 3Ds is a fair offer. $30 for oasis, dragon quest VII and fire emblem is theft. That guy needs to do more research on his inventory 😂
A lot of people would. That game went up from being 50 3 years ago to 95. I got my copy from a friend and I paid them 50. Was looking at them again a few weeks ago and the selling price is up there.
Trys to act nice so he can finesse the vendors lmao even though he's already making a video recording their inventory as "content" which will generate him profit on the video.
@@hh-lg1heif you saved 4 minutes of your time and life and the vendors time and life x50 games by just paying the dollar how much money could you make in that time you saved by paying the dollar? Let’s say you spent 100 dollars but had 100 minutes, don’t you think you could make more than 100 dollars in 100 minutes? Especially at a damn convention?
Thanks for the con video. I met you there and told you these are my favorite videos. Thanks for taking the time to talk to me for a bit. Hope you enjoyed the con and hope I meet you at another one.
Love this channel but the videos just don't hit the same anymore. The focus is more on the business (Which is understandable) but it's just not fun to watch. It just makes the whole thing feel soulless. With the Gamecube gambit, it was exciting to see the old games you could find and the hunt to complete the list was fun. This just isn't for me. And the constant mention of your business model every 5 minutes just gets boring. I don't know, maybe others don't agree but I miss the old days of pawn shops, game stores, etc. Now its just you having a list of games, your app and knowing exactly what price you need to buy for. It makes for such a boring watch. Can't make it through a full video anymore.
I'm in agreement, these are not fun anymore and while I made it through this, I was more just checking the Amazon Renewed value and cringing as what he's paying these people
I love how uncomfortable you made that vender at the end trying to unload all your garbage inventory on the spot on camera. I feel so bad. Dude didn’t really want to buy any of your junk but was too nice. You can hear it in his voice. 😂
Feels like Caleb isn't spending much time on negotiating now. Feels like he is there to make a deal to satisfy his viewers rather than for the cash itself.
Absolutely, and to resell too. They probably feel obliged to go along with it. And asking a seller how much they paid for an item? I would have told him to fuck off.
I bought my Crystal Chronicles Gamecube CIB at a Book Off in Hyogo Amagasaki by a mall for 130k yen in 2018. Raved to the ATM as soon as I found out what it was.
Phoenix resale may be a huge part of your RUclips life when you take a nap and have a dream about the new Deadpool and Wolverine movie excited about all the cameos, and then Caleb pops up for a OneUp add in the movie🤣

Maybe I missed something but the comps (ebay) for a lot of the titles Phoenix picked up are right about what he paid for them. Is the idea to sell a ton of stuff with tight margins? that Mario 64 DS cart goes for about 19.99 and with the deal it looked like he got it for maybe 17 or 18?
This type of reselling has so many middleman trying to get their 10-15% margins that it makes it difficult unless you find someone who doesn't know the proper value or you haggle down the price with everyone
Pole Position is old af. I remember playing that game along with Dig Dug on my Windows 95 way back in the day. Honestly, I'm surprised the price isn't higher tbh. lol

He's willing to drive 7 hours to the convention but not spend 3 minutes installing a new battery, which should be sop. he could have bought a 5.00 game, replaced the back with a 2.00 nba challenge and saved thwee dollars. good video though
I miss the pawn shop videos
Pawn shops don’t fit his current business model
I can’t imagine pawn shops being OK with him walking around filming this stuff..

When are these amazon buyers gonna wake up and start shopping smarter?
Right?
It,s painful to see Amazon buyers getting ripped off with the kind of pricing they are willing to pay for used video games 😮
I love that these videos are back please do these and pawn shop videos more! ❤️
Riff is the best part of this video 😂 the simple “no” edit was hilarious
Not even hating on Caleb but in general anyone who would genuinely pay 90+ for Pokémon leaf green is fucking crazy to me
But people are paying more for what they want not necessarily because of price.
It sells on Amazon for $200+
Pokemon games almost always go up in crazy value.
The fact that you said "not even hating on Caleb" tells me you don't care much for him 😅

Ah, video game conventions. How I’ve missed you
I would pretend to be closed if Phoenix came up to me
“Hey I saw you got Tetris there for $15. Is is cool if I paid $13?” Not hating but damn, just pay the $15 at that point. Lol
Dude that would drive me nuts, like you’re really gunna haggle for 1-2 dollars????

I don't believe he paid 3k or the original seller was legally insane.

I resell in the neighboring country. There aren’t a lot of pawn shops near me so I have to hunt online or at yard sales

Mario 3 you had one left label and 5 right side. I think the left side is more rare I believe
He can pay the higher margins as he's selling on Amazon Renewed so that gets him the extra premium ($41 for Mario 3 for example)
