I go there all the time. The only items you get deals on are Pokemon singles and packs sometimes. Everything else is well over market. There is a t shirt stand that’s pretty cheap but that’s it.

Sure I’m not getting it for Pennies on the dollar, but I’m not spending hours to get a Wii at a yard sale. I pay 280/month for my booth rent and get a lot of foot traffic and impulse buys. I actually enjoy rainy weekends now because the foot traffic doubles.

They can price them for whatever the like but they just won't sell them, things are only worth whatever someone is willing to pay, there is literally 2 other game shops in the same place that will have the games priced cheaper and now with the Internet you know what it's true market value is, I like to buy stuff in person and have it straight away aslong as the items are in and around market value I will buy them
Nostalgia overload. Great store, but one thing I was hoping for were the Batman the Animated Series classic toys on the shelves. I recently created on my channel a small tribute to Kevin Conroy using the classic BtAS toys, pretty cool if I may say so myself :) November will mark the second anniversary of his passing.
Their prices are super unreasonable and it has a lot to do with how much they pay to sell their each month, on top of federal and state tax. Theyre better off just selling online from the comfort of your home where there's barely any overhead besides eBay fees.
As a game store owner in Canada, it's crazy to see the gaming market in USA. A lot of our games are exact same price but CAD & USD are different so we are technically lower or for some reason, the games are more expensive in USA. Obviously, this is not the case with everything but I often see a lot of popular Nintendo titles going for $50USD when I can only sell them here for $40CAD as an example. That Minecraft and Mario Kart DD are perfect examples, I know they are overpriced at this market but I sell Minecraft $15-20CAD in store and Double Dash $80-100CAD which is always dependent on my back stock but I see them going for same or more in the US. Game prices are just crazy lol

He’s got them all marked as “Repo” so he’s not doing anything wrong. I used to run a retro modding business for handhelds and would sell these carts for $15 dollars so customers could have a new game to play but they all knew it was a repo. Not everyone wants to spend $50-$100 per gba cart.
We have a booth there (Blood and Teeth artwork booth 517). You stopped by our table at So Cal expo that weekend but man I wish you could of seen our both at Frank and Sons. We sell our zombie art mostly but we definitely have a game section as well. Even have a Phoenix Resell sticker on our glass case 👍.

Actually, we are not, as you know, prices go up and down all the time, as you see a very large inventory of games I can’t always reprise them. But all my customers know they get the best deals they come to me they asked for it pretty much get what they asked for so how about you come to the booth and check it out for yourself

As someone that's sold trading cards and video games, 50-60% is usually the fair market value for store buyback, especially for bulk games which there are thousands of and can sit for years. We used to buy certain high-demand games like Pokemon for 70% because they would move quickly, but even that franchise started to crash in price.

I have my toy hunt video up from Frank and Sons where you'll see a different perspective. I'm glad Caleb was able to get some deals but none of them especially the first booth he visited would negotiate, she wanted $30 for The Crow City of Angels VHS I asked if she would take the last sold on eBay which was $5 and she said no. That movie isn't worth $30 but I understand she's got high booth rent so I just said good luck with her day and moved on.
