The Kingpin of crime himself recalls the days of his obesity.
I made all the captions, inspired by a lot of the amazing comments below.
I don't own the original clip obviously.

Though it may appear unedited at first, scrolling into the comments for a moment will make it clear that there are many edits hidden throughout, that are subtle for the sake of comedy. Every utterance of "because of my weight" is an edit of the original clip that changes the context. "Fat" is also edited. Additionally, much of the clip is cut down for good pacing. So, I didn’t read the title carefully, and I don’t think I’d ever seen the original scene before. So, for the first half of the video, I genuinely thought that the repetition of “my weight” was part of the original dialogue UNTIL I read this comment.

I genuinely love how Kingpin is the least logical supervillain to exist. He's ridiculously strong and durable, without any explanation other than him just being a big guy. Not to mention he magically learns to be a master hacker in prison that can code so well he can evade government detection and flip the economy upside down into his favor. The only explanation Marvel has given us about his general backstory is that he's fat.

The thing I love the most about the original is he complains about being Ostracised because of his *W E I G T* but it's literally just some kids playing with a busted fire hydrant, something even a fat kid can do, and he didn't even approach them, he walks all the way across town to join in on a bank robbery, like, maybe that's why you're ostracized mate, not because of your weight, because you would rather watch innocent people getting robbed, because of your weight.

Roscoe Lee Brown won an Emmy for his performance as KingPin, but I feel that he’s still underrated. His voice really made Kingpin a superstar villain instead of just a mob guy. He has a threatening voice mixed with a heavy dose of conviction and intelligence. It’s a gold star voice.

He is one of the most unique human beings on the planet...because of his WEIGHT...and is trying to start a life posing as a legitimate businessman. Any records of that WEIGHT in law enforcement databases, no matter what name was attached to it, would lead back to him, and thus needed to be eradicated.

This is everything!!! Also just wanna say that Roscoe Lee Browne's voice and acting are iconic. It's the little inflections that make him sound so menacing and Machiavellian! Like that little thing he does at 'but my father wanted 𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓮 out of life' for example... This show was just so so good
Definitely a show with a ton of great voice acting, and one of the best kingpins. Love seeing people like you pick up on little details like that.
