had my continental gt for 4 years now the bike is reliable have had no problems with mine at all i have no difficulties with the height or weight , mind you i am 5-11 tall find it comfy enough for long rides just love it just want to take it out all the time

Did you prefer the interceptor ride wise ?
I love the look of these especially the blacked out wheels
I have ridden an interceptor myself but not one of these for a proper ride only round the dealers

Hey Phil, I prefer the Interceptor to the Continental, the riding position suited me better, I really like this bike, so easy to ride and fun too!
Nice review. I love the bike, the only thing I didn't find very comfy at all, you actually leaning forward almost like on Thruxton, after a few miles you beginning to feel it. I would say anyone who is buying for longer rides needs some sort of clip-ons extensions or go for Interceptor.

Thanks for the video. I agree with most of your points. The centre of gravity is on the high side which makes righting the bike hard should I drop it (again) due to the engine being mounted high with a lot of ground clearance (that I don't need). Also the saddle height is too high for me but I am very short. I've pulled 23kg out of this bike which while a lot is only 11% of its original weight. I've also lowered the saddle height by a couple of inches which has been a major improvement for me (I am shorter than you).. Apart from the far too common problem with the relays and the grease smeared over the relay socket contacts it has been a reliable, very enjoyable, good handling, very good looking and good value bike.

With the Kawasaki RS 650 Twin ?
The RS650 certainly feels a lot lighter than the RE, both handle nicely and have that same retro styling which I do like. Have you ridden the Continental Jeff?

Great bike. I have the interceptor 650 and love it. You can use all the power and it is great in the twisties.
