Being an INT owner I think I'm eligible to add some comment here
      1. Tyre could have been a little wider
      2. Missing Gear positioning indicator
      3. LED turn signals
      4. Like the throw of current head lamp. But a projector or LED could have been better deal.
      5. The most important point : RE should Educate their delears on how to properly service such premium class product. Without this there is no point in launching these exprensive motorcycles. RE will fail eventually.
      Good day Dhanil and team

Is it worth it? RE's superior line up with inferior features.
Alloys - Spoke rims and tube tyres in this generation? This is not an offroad spec bike like the Himalayan, hence Alloys and tubeless tyres (Not CEAT) are the need of the hour.
Fuel Meter - Fuel meter on this bike has its on brain. RE needs to fix this.
Front Forks - The front suspension is on the softer side and it tends to dive on hard/sudden breaking, also lessens cornering confidence.
Tripper Nav - It would be nice to have it considering the lower models already possess them.
Quick Shifter - may be as an accessory.
Finally Service - Not all the service centers are equipped with competent 650 mechanics, which is tragic!
Hope MotorBeam can share this with RE.

It’s made to be a simple retro motorcycle to remind us about what motorcycling is for- simple, cool and a great experience. It’s not made to compete with the KTM Duke or anything, it’s about the smiles per hour, not about the miles per hour. It’s about the mechanics of the bike, the coordination of every single part in the 650cc engine, that allows it to reach the redline. If you want most of the features that you mentioned above, you should search for a naked or sports bike or even an ADV, as they would satisfy you even more :)

Why isn't anybody talking about the spoke wheels on this bike, it should get an option for alloys as well.
To handle a puncture on this bike is a very difficult task....some of the roadside puncture shops even refuses to repair this kind of puncture. It really is a difficult task since this bike is heavy and has long exhaust pipes on both sides. All this problem could be solved to a great extent only if RE gave alloys as an option on this bike.
    No hate though.
    I really love this machine.

Does any INT650 owner faces problem of bike engine shutting down with frequent gear shifts while trying to push the bike hard. My bikes RPM drops below 1000 as soon as I pull the clutch in to shift the gear. Got it checked at RE SC but nobody is able to figure out the problem. Instead they told me if you want to go fast you should have bought Duke 790. This is meant for cruising not going fast. N by fast I mean 80-100 kmph. Last rectification was to increase the RPM to abt 1.3K at idle. It did work next day but then again started giving me problems of engine shutting down. Doesn't happen when I am cruising only when I try to go a little fast than usual.
If anyone has faced the same issue then please advise how to get this sorted as it is quite dangerous as the power is cut off to engine & the vehicle behind me might not realise that the bike has suddenly start to slow down without pushing the brakes.

There is a Massive narrative pushing the INT 650 as a worthy Motorcycle. Many are starting to realize that using nostalgia and over romanticizing a very basic Motorcycle is a technique to sell a bike that many bikes 15 year older out perform to include finish and .handling .
It is an inexpensive motorcycle that at its roots is more a beginner bike like when small 350cc bikes are used at Motorcycle schools.,
Had to say it because I see so many you tubers pushing this bike just for thumbs up’s.
I was looking for second bike and even test road it for-an hour. A gutless easy safe ride for those who say that’s all the power they need. Then reality sets in and realize they may get run over on a freeway that the average speed is over 75 MPH.
Almost any bike even a small Chinese moped can do back roads.
    That’s the truth.

The service cost is usually around the 3k mark for the major service unless parts are to be changed. That's half of what a general car service would cost.

It's a classic looking good performance bike (equivalent to 500cc bikes and very much underpowered to rest of the 650cc in the segment) but I would like to say it's an incomplete bike, it's not suitable for riding in Indian city traffic conditions and falls short of even basic features for touring. Price is it's biggest USP, else as a package it doesn't even offer as much as even 250cc bikes do in the market today. Hope RE looks up to it, comes up with a better package and doesn't disappoint fans again.

So basically you are trying to compare a high stroke low compression engine with performance oriented high compression engine.....let me remind u that Royal Enfield are known for cruising on long highways and not to race on a closed track and talking of lack of power you mentioned, take kawasaki W800 which is only 1 sec faster in 0-100 drag and 3 times costlier than RE and with same high stroke low compression engine.....if you want to compare, then compare with the bike of same class and not the same engine cc and all those short coming you are talking about, u can get it for well under a lakh instead of paying thrice the price of a bike

@@ankitanand676 Hi Ankit. Good point. In the same class there is no direct competition to Interceptor for now but not for long (BSA & Bajaj/Triumph will soon launch bikes in this class). The nearest comparison in class for now is the Kawasaki Z650RS which is a retro modern bike and twice the price cos its imported. I have been riding RE bikes for last 10 yrs and I am aware of the its cruising abilities on the highway, but the point of disappointment is cos they are not living up to their own standards. When they are giving Meteor 350 such features why is the 650cc twins being deprived of it even when you are paying nearly 4L for it. These are also made for highway cruising but it falls short of basic features too and that's why I said its incomplete. You can get a lot of accessories after market but I think RE only should be offering them for a bike of this class. Hope they offer a better package for the upcoming 650 cruiser.

As an interceptor owner some of ur points I agree with but definitely not with city traffic point. It depends on ur capability. I used to ride 150cc in heavy city traffic. Believe me the traffic is very bad here but I didnt hv and problem tackling the traffic with it the only concern should it's mileage in city traffic which is too low. I'm getting 15. Other than it cuts through traffic like a knife if ur a experienced rider

@@tirthankarmitra9574 bro i am from kolkata and traffic here is heavy and i own a continental gt 650 and usually i get around 23kmpl(lowest 20kmpl that too before first service) in city and on highway around 28-30kmpl and once i even extracted 33kmpl in a 250km road trip with an average speed of 60kmph @6th gear
A tip for you, try to not rev the bike above 2.5k and ur mileage will increase drastically
Note: i m using a redrooster performance exhaust since I bought the bike and it was installed even during that 250km trip, so u can extract even more, given the mileage decrease with aftermarket or performance exhaust
