The series is an interesting one, because it shows that the seven deadly sins are forgivable. Capable of change. Just look at Greed, as an example. Even Pride, who was capable of growing attachment to lowly humans (even though he'd never admit it). However, the only sin that couldn't be forgiven by Truth even with repentance, was blasphemy, which Father represents greatly. And to blaspheme against a god, not even Wrath could forgive.
@@gabrielbjornursidae Blasphemy? Pretty sure Truth's problem was that Father despite his long existence never learned anything. He was so blind by his arrogance that he couldn't even see the Truth when faced by it. After all, Father thought that Truth was his own gate of knowledge. A gate that was completely empty in reflection of how Father never grew as a person. When he grew in power,it was only through stealing power from others. He saw himself above humanity despite being born from humanity. He thought removing his sins would increase his superiority over humans, but all it did was accentuate his inability to grow as a person. His sins prove that Father was very much capable of growing as a person. They all in some way developed in ways that went beyond their established Sins (even Gluttony with his love and protective nature towards Lust). Yet the source of the sins remained as simple as he was when he was the dwarf in the flask. That arrogance and refusal to develop is what earned Father the wrath of Truth. A wrath that was born from Father's own words. He saw Truth as an ironic punisher of arrogance and thus he got the ironic punishment for his own arrogance.

Yeah and keep in mind in an earlier fight against Buccaneer, Greed-Ling and Briggs soldiers, Bradley said that he was far from top form and he wasn't injured at that point, yet he was able to take nearly all of them out on his own and even took down a military tank with nothing but his sword and a hand grenade. King Bradley was altogether a different breed of warrior/soldier-homunculus.
I like to believe that last furious monologue from Wrath about Scar and his god, he is projecting a little bit. "During the Ishvalan Civil War, when you were surrounded by despair, surely somewhere deep down in your heart you began to believe there was no god in this world at all." Remember, Bradley was a nameless human effectively forced to take part in a brutal eugenics program to become the host of a philosopher's stone. He was forced to fight and surpass his fellow peers and then experience unimaginable pain as the stone bonded to his body. To me, this feels like him projecting how he felt onto Scar. That if god did exist, he wouldn't have let him go through that. I think this is why he touts this "me first, nothing else matters" mentality. He simultaneously has an apathetic outlook on his life, but remains fiercely proud of his one allowed choice - who he chose to marry. To him, believing in a god is abandoning free will.

Blud deflected bullets and bisected a missile mid-flight without slowing down. He also clashed with Greed using a regular pair of knives, one he broke with Fu's sword later. That's not realistic in the slightest.
End of the day, Bradley's feats are unrealistic. The reason the blades didn't break immediately is because that wouldn't be as cool. It's the same reason certain characters have supernatural strength capable of keeping up with the Homonculi who are artificially augmented.
0:01 Do that with your hand and then visualize what's wrong with Scar's. Dude just popped all the blood vessels in his hand.
Always makes me shudder thinking about it.
Why did Bradley have only one soul?
Basically, the Philosopher's Stone containing Wrath was one big battle royale, all the souls within it fought and destroyed each other to assume control of the host until only one left.
