- Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (Japanese: 鋼の錬金術師 FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST, Hepburn: Hagane no Renkinjutsushi) is a Japanese anime television series adapted from the original Fullmetal Alchemist manga series by Hiromu Arakawa. Produced by Bones, the series is directed by Yasuhiro Irie, written by Hiroshi Ōnogi and composed by Akira Senju. The series was conceived in order to create a faithful adaptation that directly follows the entire storyline of the original manga, after 2003's Fullmetal Alchemist anime series strayed away from it to tell its own story.Original run begun in April 5, 2009 - July 4, 2010. Production for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood began in 2008. The series was broadcast for sixty-four episodes on MBS-TBS from April 2009 to July 2010. The series was first licensed in North America by Funimation and was broadcast English-dubbed on Adult Swim from February 2010 to September 2011. In 2016, Funimation lost the rights to the series and it was transferred to Aniplex of America.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood earned acclaim from critics and audiences, and is considered one of the best anime series of all time. Reviewers noted its faithfulness to the manga and its introduction of characters and plot details that were not included in the 2003 anime; the climactic episodes were also lauded for both its action scenes and moral messages.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood scored 9.1 out of 10 on IMDb.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood scored 9.14 out of 10 on MyAnimeList.

It's so insane how it took all of Bucaneer, Fu, Greed/Ling, and Scar to take down Bradley. And even then Scar was only able to defeat him at the end because of the timing of the eclipse. Bradley truly is the most terrifying being in this show I think

He's also the only human, he doesnt have a healing factor so all damage on him sticks. He just has higher resistance
@@DarkenMidnacrystal That’s exactly what I mean. Even without any healing abilities he was still one of the biggest and most menacing threats in the series.

Gonna sound heartless but the scene with Mustang roasting the hell out of envy I felt zero sympathy for envy. Deserved everything they got and then some.

Oh man I don't think you're supposed to BUT, I think it gives a lot of depth to a character that up to that point was pretty flat- They would've been way more forgettable if not. But yyeah, nothing but a "fuck yeah Mustang" in that scene
You go from pitying him to feeling no sympathy every time Envy opens his mouth during that scene. Somehow seeing no-one react to his jabs and pleas makes him seem more pathetic than if they actually reacted to them
Always loved FMAB fights. It’s wasn’t based on being stronger, or having a higher level of ki, Chakra, or spiritual pressure. And the fights didn’t drag on forever either. Just his stakes fights that you felt like mattered

Ed is such smart fighter. How he figured out how Greeds Ultimate Sheild worked and with his knowledge of alchemy learned to counter it.

Bradley was most impressive among all Homunculis🔥
I saw the backstory but it is confusing to me a little bit still. He was already a soldier right? Is he able to fight so well as a result of that training when he was young or did him being a homunculis make him seem so invincible like this? It looks like reflexes but a lot of things should’ve killed him…
@@fairylaw7847 he was a well trained soldier. The homunculi powers allowed that training to do imposible feats otherwise he would be like greed, but with future sight..
I'd say Greed was almost as impressive as Bradley.
He acted like he didn't give a shit what happened, but he ultimately did.
Honestly, if Ling was in control of Greed's powers he'd probably be the best fighter in the show

I know they're supposed to just be fodder but it's insane that the Briggs soldiers didn't even try to shoot whilst Bradley was distracted, they only wait until he's not fighting and can focus on them

Brady's sword is such complete and utter cheats. It's a saber yet rams right through the vision port of a tank. Someone will cope and say it's monomolecular however it should've shattered at a dozen points regardless.
