James Earl Jones gets lost in the field of dreams
Didn't get to see Sly's moves/what's up?- - -
The antagonists of this manga are so so friggin good. All of them are memorable in their own right.
Wait! If they hook up the cable, we're all gonna die!
Haseo really built like a deviant art/tumblr oc 💀
Ed fucking Blaylock man what a voice actor. By far my favorite dubbed fight of all anime. RIP.
Always felt Scar was kinda coward even knowing his story he isn’t an admirable character
Bradley lost both arms & still almost won
This is not even Bradley full strength
meanwhile lion: i'm replacing you as a bad helper
Love this scene Die laughing every time
The song is clearly mocking Jesus Christ, the rock of all ages. I would assume the truth is that it's mockery as well
Scar is one of the stronger characters in this series and bardley wouldve killed 2 or 3 times this fight despite being shot, stabbed through the chest and after losing his ultimate eye. Bradley kinda nuts
4:52 Wrath pulls this exact same move on Greed when they fight in the Fuhrer’s mansion.
HAVE YOU ABANDONED YOUR GOD??
I like to believe that last furious monologue from Wrath about Scar and his god, he is projecting a little bit. "During the Ishvalan Civil War, when you were surrounded by despair, surely somewhere deep down in your heart you began to believe there was no god in this world at all." Remember, Bradley was a nameless human effectively forced to take part in a brutal eugenics program to become the host of a philosopher's stone. He was forced to fight and surpass his fellow peers and then experience unimaginable pain as the stone bonded to his body. To me, this feels like him projecting how he felt onto Scar. That if god did exist, he wouldn't have let him go through that. I think this is why he touts this "me first, nothing else matters" mentality. He simultaneously has an apathetic outlook on his life, but remains fiercely proud of his one allowed choice - who he chose to marry. To him, believing in a god is abandoning free will.
A woman wrote this ?!
Lmao yess
King Bradley is built different
Christ bless you, I love this fight so much
There's some great mirroring between the 2. Because Scar fought like a madman against Amestris alchemists and dirigeants, trying to find revenge for his land, his people. But when he finally fought Bradley, he finally understand. His own wrath, his full hate was nothing compared to that of the man he fought. Scar finally understood, there was nothing behind wrath, which is why he let it go. Bradley's wrath was worthless, he himself knew it, but he did follow it anyway, because that is what wrath is. Impulse, and nothing more. It doesn't matter if there's a great cause behind it or nothing, wrath is only the processus of destruction, nothing more.
This is actually what rafiki would do if this movie was realistic
3:18 God, that roar is SO good. The dub was truly a goddamn masterpiece.
Lol this fight felt so personal 😂
3:17
3:16 Chills 🥶
"Have you abandoned your god?" "You would leave him so easily?" "During the Ishvalen civil war, when you were surrounded by nothing but dispair, surely you began to believe there was no god at all!" What an amazing VA. RIP Ryan Blaylock

2:30 the venom behind Wrath’s voice is amazing, he’s such a powerhouse. Scar was set up as one of the strongest fighters in the series and this man is screaming in his face like he’s nothing. Great depiction of Wrath’s strength, an already wounded bleeding out Wrath too.
All the more tragic his VA passed away recently.
@@VRHyoumarudamn rip💔
4:02 I bought that shake weight you see on TV. Ten minutes a day every day!
Why did Bradley have only one soul?
Basically, the Philosopher's Stone containing Wrath was one big battle royale, all the souls within it fought and destroyed each other to assume control of the host until only one left.
0:19 Run! This guy's Crazy!!! 😰
700
0:22 the koala's a gamer
Hephaestus when he was born be like
King Bradley is the private account of Richard from “Friends”
This is accurate since Baboon usually kills lion cubs
What is he eating?
the dub for this series was so good
I absolutely love spiritual debate as they try to kill each other -- such symbolism
Imagine how strong he would be if he had the ability to regenerate, or if he would be in his young condition...
4:03 "I bought that shake-weight you see on TV. Ten minutes a day everyday!"
What the Lakers will do to Bronny after Lebron retires
I have said it before and I will say it again, this scene has the best screaming/yelling voice over. Espcially when Wrath trys to deal a killing blow in begginning of the fight when Scar's is on the ground. That angry rage filled scream is so well voice acted.
*Poor Simba😂😂😂😂😂*
5:24 That’s what I call Divine Intervention. Either that was a miracle or the end of the eclipse? If either one of them didn’t happen, Scar would’ve got murked.
What's insane is that despite taking mortal blows earlier, Wrath almost kills Scar anyway. If he were in peak condition, Scar would have been mutilated without question. In my opinion, only Pride and Father would be able to take on Wrath in a 1v1 scenario.
Thank you for uploading, such a unique take on a wonderful song
Did the Truth intervene in the end? What’s the shining that kills Bradely?
It was the solar eclipse coming to an end after father opened the gate quite the irony.
Best thing about this fight, Scar is established as one of the best 1v1 fighters in the series, and even he is only able to beat Bradley's dogged assault by virtue of two distractions. Its a great way to show how much of a beast Bradley was without diminishing Scar at all. The win feels completely earned, and the defeat, while violent, was also graceful and respectable.
Scar winning is pathetic
Man I remember watching this show when it aired. And I’m reminded soooo much of how unfun it was to watch with loooong moments of nothing shots happening on screen.
