Nice... looks great
Looks good. I have the same lift, waiting on the wheels and tires to come in. How long did it take you to install the lift?
Where you get your lift kit from? And wheels. Nice 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You gotta do a HD front end conversation trust me you won’t regret it
You did an awesome job! I've been seriously considering buying the same kit for my 08 Silverado, I have one question I wanted to ask you. I installed a 5" lift kit on mine but I had problems with the pinion angle, between 45-59mph the truck would vibrate so I had to install pinion angle shims. Did you notice any vibration issues with this lift kit?
These trucks always have pinion angle issues
@@MXTT2001 I upgraded to a 8" Super lift kit. The vibration is completely gone.
Is that full 9” lifted? What’s tires size & rims size? 18x12? What’s regears number in that truck? Nice build & looks awesome
@@JohnPonce nice, I like it lot w 9". My truck Chevy Silverado z71 LTZ with 8" superlift suspension kit in w fox racing shocks instead of kings, 20x12 & 35" toyo mt tires, still has stock great... I'm planning to get 4.56 regears kit in front & rear in future & get newer 37" tires nitto mud grappler with 18x9 wheels in future
whats the upper arm angle like at 9" with their arms. I have mine set at nine with deavers in the rear and the rear is now higher and didn't settle much. do you think adding a 1/2-1" level spacer would be OK with the kit?
@@JohnPonce I have icon delta arms and the are not correct for the lift height set at 9". they rub the strut coil at full right turn and over and decent sized bump. what would you recommend to bring the front up a bout 1"?
@@JohnPonce the shop who did all the work has the mcgaughys arms on order for me and will do a direct swap cus they know there won't be clearance issues. I'm just looking to lift the front 1/2-1" and hopefully the mcgaughys arms won't be to close to the strut coil
I bought the 7-9 ss kit for my 19 at4 1500. Waiting on delivery, when set to 9 will those stackable leaf shims make truck level?
@@JohnPonce thsnks man, just found your page, you got a new follower good stuff
How did it turn out? I was told McGaughys has some sturts you can put on the front to lift it 9inches I was wondering do you have to cut anything to add them?
i bought a 2008 silverado 1500 from auction and found it has the mcgaughys 7-9" lift on it but someone took out the swaybar and links, what type swaybar n links do i need to get?
Oem sway bar and end links, but what you’ll need are the McGaughys Sway Bar drop brackets and McGaughys Sway Bar Extenders.

^^^
These are the McGaughys lift kit instructions from their website. 07-13 Silver is probably the kit you have since the basic kit is discontinued. Should be able to order the drop brackets and extenders through McGaughys by reaching out to them if you don’t have them.
Did you have to norcal behind the front wheels or just the bumper?
@@JohnPonce thanks bought a mcgaughys lift for my suburban but I want 22x12 on 35s
What did he say? His comment is gone did he have to do the norcal mod?
35’s or 37’s tires ?
35s
About how long does this take?
