McGaughy's sent us on a mission: find a 14-18 GM 1500 truck to rebuild with their Stainless Steel Series 7-9" lift kit. Dustin and Junior begin the hunt around town and immediately find a clean 2015 Silverado at a nearby carwash. Turns out that Nick pays for the truck himself, he's 16 years old, working 60 hours a week, AND helping out his family. Could there be a better candidate for this badass truck build opportunity?!

Best build yet! I'm 39.. a truck driver who works 60+ hrs a week and for this kid doing it and going to school you know he loves his truck he paid for himself. Maybe he will be working for custom offsets down the road.
That would be awesome, we would love to have him some day! He's got a good start with the marketing classes.

This is such an inspiring video, this has been my dream and I am just getting started as well I just bought my first truck and have always dreamed of making my truck look like that. I’m 17 and a high school graduate while working all at the same time so to see someone like this kid in the same situation makes me so happy , and it warmed my heart. He feels like his hard work is paying off. Great job guys!!

14 to 15 because they switched the front ends in 16 and went with it up to 19 like the pink and blue truck is

I’m 16 myself and if this happened to me I would start crying that’s just amazing. Trying to get a 7inch lift on my 2018 1500 Silverado also . Do you think that that I’d have to trim stuff down? Also would 14 wides break anything or wear down stuff overtime? Hope y’all get back to me love the vids
Anything that isn’t stock will break stuff and wear out a little more then usual but a lot of it depends on the quality of parts and maintenance you put into your truck as well as the way you treat it

My Blazer went down on me a few months back in a bad spot. Unfortunately, I gotta ride the bus to and from work. Riding the bus has definitely provided me with extra motivation. I got 6 grand saved and want a 2015 raised up just like this. 😎 I can't wait to feel the way this young man is feeling. I've been working hard to get my money up. I'm shooting for 7500 + to go drop on one. 3 years ago, I was homeless and came such a far way. I lost 2 jobs during CV because I wouldn't let them force jab me up. Left me homeless. I lived in my blazer. My Pitbull Cali and I. I saved as much as possible and found me a place. By the grace of God 3 years later, I'm sitting here looking at something like this because my Pitbull Cali passed on me, and now I got 4 Pitbulls. Want a truck to take them to the park and much more 😎🦍🦍🦍🦍 Man, congratulations to that young man, and I can't wait to feel that happiness. 😎
