1st episode of hotd came out recently and I ended up really enjoying it (even if I'm forever bitter over Daenerys...) it really sucks that HBO is releasing this a week at a time kjhjghg I'm impatient and I NEED to know how things go!
I completely fell in love with Daemon and Rhaenyra's dynamic. thank you Matt and Milly lol The chemistry is so there omg I can't wait to see more of them. As soon as I watched the pilot I had this idea of what if Daemon and Rhaenyra were the ones fighting over the throne, but also make it romantic lovers to enemies haha
Story summary: Rhaenyra doesn't think she has a chance to be the heir, so she never really lets herself think about the possibility even though she is ambitious and hungry for the iron throne. As two outcasts, she bonds with Daemon and they begin a secret relationship. Things go south when Viserys I does name Rhaenyra as his heir after her mother's death because until that point Daemon was the next in line officially. Both struggle to choose love or power, but ultimately the iron throne is too good to pass up (especially since neither of them wants to be a consort ahem power hungry much? kfdhgk) While the king is still alive Daemon stays in line, and continues the relationship with Rhaenyra even though both of them know how complicated it's gonna become once the king passes. After Viserys' death war breaks out between each side, aka Dance of the Dragons. While they still love each other both are fighting to be the ruler of Westeros, ultimately Rhaenyra wins and banishes Daemon from Westeros.

Shocks the chemistry is on fire with these two! I thought I would be so uncomfortable when I saw the trailer, especially if the controversial thingz happened, cuz Milly looked SO young, but dmn do I feel wrong. There's this unexplainable tension even if they haven't done anything explicit. This kind of chemistry with actors is actually rare.

True, I like them because their chemistry and their personalities matched well that make me forget they're related, not because I support incest which is I am not, but just prepare for the antists will come here to go against this pairing. I understand the controvercy of this uncle/niece couple but they should understand too it is only fiction. We're all sane enough not to do it in real life.
@@novitabasaria7282 completely agree! Imaginary fantasy land doesn’t reflect real life morals and what we like. It’s fine in a fake scenario as long as you’re aware it’s bad in the real world. Also, no one had a problem to ship Dany with Jon and they’re literally in the same boat as Daemon and Rhaenyra - niece/uncle and aunt/nephew. That’s the Targaryen way. If you think like antis you can’t even enjoy shipping anyone because each ship is related in some way. Like Rhaenyra’s mom and dad were cousins, her grandparents were siblings, she marries her cousin and so on. Yeah, the antis have already descended like wipers lmao i’ve been deleting their nasty comments all day

@@novitabasaria7282 Martin's books are historically accurate when it comes to incest. In some US states marrying first cousins is not against the law. Also, there are many countries that marry Uncles/nieces, cousins, etc. Cleopatra married several brothers - her parents were siblings. There's incest in the British family, as well as Spain and other countries. It was to keep money, titles, truces, and royal bloodlines.
Regardless, when Daemon asked Alicent for her favor before he takes down her brother in front of their father, Rhaenyra had a bit of disappointment on her face.
Maybe it's forbidden and it's a Targaryen culture but Daemon and Rhaenyra has a chemistry. They are True Love that falls down to a wrong circumtances. They are the only characters i want and curious to follow what happens next to their journey on finding Happiness Power' Acceptance and Love.
Gods, it is so great, visually. Better than any other great edits on Rheanyra and Daemon. Great chemistry between them, and dynamics, both are strong characters, even is Rheanyra at the begining seems to be more demure. I hope with the older Rheanyra actress there will be chemistry just as good. I admit Daemon stole my heart

As for Daenerys I hate Jon so that was a nonstarter, my girl’s downfall literally began the day she met him and agreed to help the stinking north. He always rubbed me the wrong way in scenes with Dany, I just could feel it wouldn’t end well. And the fact that he was a male Targaryen (even though I never include him as one, he’s a Stark through and through. A real Targaryen would put family above all, not let others divide them) he’s also the reason Dany would’ve lost her throne. Sorry for the long rant haha so yeah Daemon and Rhaenyra are my first incest ship🙈😭
