I recently wore my 18 karat gold Universal Geneve Polerouter Date with champagne dial to the Swatch store here in Miami. The representative immediately came up to me and asked, "Universal Geneve?" For someone to know what watch this is, they are deep deep deep into high horology. I was so impressed with him that I bought a watch, sistem 51 just for fun. It's literally the perfect watch. It's around 10mm overall in thickness but wears like 7mm thin, as the crystal is thick. It wears like a 35 mm, but it looks like a 37 or 38 mm because it's so vibrant, and it's so bold. The target style dial inverses the light play like no other. You can take a hundred different pictures and none of them look the same because of the way the dials designed with light play in mind. It's literally the perfect watch. Mine, from 1960, still has one of the smoothest movements. I have a Vacheron Constantin, 2022 Rolex Datejust mother of pearl/ diamond dial, Zenith, and a few others but the Universal Geneve Polerouter is art. You must buy one before they double in price. Bruce Lee's Universal Geneve Polerouter was sold for $20,000 in 2017
You can’t go wrong with a UG Polerouter, especially in 18k. The dial is always with light in an amazing unique way! We wish you a lot of great moments with your beauty
Salut, excellente mouvement. C'est moi qui a monté toutes les microtor UG 100 et 101. Édition spéciale. C'est une excellente montre. Merci beaucoup pour l'information que tu nous a donné.
Great video, the algorithm seems to have isolated your channel from me 😢. The Pole Router is also relavant to mining companies which explored various mines near the North Pole, this created a labor boom back then. One of the favorite laborer’s watch was of course the Pole Router 👍❤️👌.
Another great video on a true classic. Query: is there a particular reference number or style that best reflects Gerald Genta’s original design for the Pole Router?
This channel deserves so much more followers... Thanks for the great content!!
Thank you! Let’s see what the future brings 🤝👍
I’m new to the channel, but definitely won’t be the last video I watch!
We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed this one! Hopefully this trend continues :D
What an incisive review with crisp vivid video presentation - subscribed !!!
Thanks mate! Welcome on board :)
I've just inherited one
. Jet model. Gold. Classic design. Circa 1954. Checking tomorrow against records . It's 30 years old and works!!
Congrats!

Very interesting history.

Indeed, they are a great detail.

Thanks a million for all your feedbacks 🙏 i don’t know the exact ref. but the first one was named PolArouter with an automatic cal. 138ss.
Excellent. I need to do more research before I can buy, but your video was so helpful. BTW, did you know Bruce Lee wore a Pole Router?!?!?

What would a fair price today be for a standard 1950/60s microrotor version in steel?
Check the sold collection of our website :)
