"Big brand" marketing can seem out of reach of smaller businesses yet as Laura explains so clearly, the principles and psychology ARE accessible and can be a huge differentiator for businesses struggling to stand out. This is really thought provoking. It's a different way to think about marketing and customer experience, and I really love it. It makes me think of all the times I've been "seduced" as a customer and it's definitely made me want to spend more with a brand and also tell others about it.
This is a fantastic talk, Laura is magic, I was lucky enough to be there on the day and I immediately started to reflect on how I can seduce within my brand and create an experience for my clients which I continue to work on. This talk makes so much sense and was a huge aha moment for me, it inspired me to take action and better my business. I would encourage everyone to give this a listen!

Loved listening to your talk on seduction. Must admit I love being seduced by brands. I always love when brands embrace technology to welcome me and keep me posted. I love brands anticipating what I want, before I even do. I would rather walk around a store with full price items so I can be seduced by the products, then visit when there is a sale on, for me it takes away the enjoyment see items all squashed together. I want my items gift wrapped even if I'm buying for myself, just so I can unwrap it myself!
Had the pleasure of seeing this live and we're so glad we can watch it back. So much gold to take away and yes the petrol station flowers are food for thought! Made us reconsider how we present and package but is also good for giving yourself a good talking to regarding self-worth. We want to be seducers! And thankfully we think we have established we aren't a comfy pair of slippers but it was good to check in!
It is such an interesting point when it comes to seducing your clients not only through your amazing photography work (which it is) but also seducing the clients with who you both are as individuals
