I'm a 67 year old woman. In my day, I was a party until you puke, headbanger. I started listening to grunge this past summer. AIC, Pearl Jam, Incubus, etc. RUclips suggested Seether. I've been listening to them ever since. Yes, I might be 20 years late and a dollar short, but I am loving their music. Seether is at the top of my playlist. I listen to them everyday. I don't feel depressed from their music. But I sure feel something.

@@Nadatersit's great to know there are other women out there my age who enjoy this music. I don't know what I expected to be listening to at 67 years of age. Thank God I didn't turn to Lawrence Well (wait, do you even know who that is?) Id probably be listening to the same old stuff I was listening to back in the day. Long live these guys and the rest of the bands that rock!

This is not the music that makes you depressed. It’s the music that makes you understand you have depression. Once you understand the darkness and know it’s going to be your little friend for a while you learn to cope and accept it. Later it becomes a part of you, it hardens your armour and builds you stronger. It may darken your heart though you learn to move past it with some positivity. People wonder why your so hard when it comes to painful things and why you joke about it. Truth is what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Some people are built out of tougher rock. Some people will never understand this darkness and it will never be part of their lives so how could they ever understand.

    LYRICS
    Do you think I'm faking
When I'm lying next to you?
Do you think that I am blind?
There's nothing left for me to lose
Must be something on your mind
    Something lost and left behind
Do you know I'm faking now?
    Do you know I'm faking
When I'm lying next to you?
Do you know that I am blind
    To everything you ever do?
Must be something on your mind
Something lost for me to find
    Do you know I'm faking?
Then she told me she had a gun
It sounded like she'd used it once before on him
Then she told me she had a gun
It sounded like she'd used it once before, oh, man
I guess you know I'm faking
When I tell you I love you
I guess you know that I am blind
To everything you say and do
Must be something on my mind
There's nothing left for me to hide
    Do you know I'm faking?
Then she told me she had a gun
It sounded like she'd used it once before on him
Then she told me she had a gun
It sounded like she'd used it once before, oh, man
We have to succumb to the feelings we can never face
I need you, I breathe you
I can't go through this all again
We have to succumb to the feelings we can never face
I need you, I breathe you
    I can't go through this
Then she told me she had a gun
It sounded like she'd used it once before

This is my favorite #Seether song it's so beautiful🌷
    "We have to
    succumb to
the feelings we could never face
    I need u ...
    I breath u ....
I can't go through this all again "
