I am in the process of changing fuel filter in my 91 convertible , I have some cross bracing in the way I may have to take off , yours looks easy in comparison . Extra supports for convertible maybe since no B pillar ?
I did not. The tank was pretty clean inside and I was changing fuel pump, filter and injectors. If there is no dirt or rust in the tank then just toss in some B12 or Seafoam on your first fill to flush out the rest of your system.
Yes it can be done. You need to jack up the right side of the car to be able to get under it. Just be careful with jacking. If you can do the front and rear at same time to avoid twisting that would be advised.
Thanks for the input. Was not going for exciting, after all it is only a fuel drain. Please send me the link for your channel so I can see how you do it.
You are so right 😂 i just had this fuel bath and im sure i will rememver it for the rest of my life
Hope you don't smoke! Stay safe.

Did you have to do anything to get the drain past the anti-siphon valve? Does it have a anti siphon valve?
Thanks
It does not have anti-syphon so please don't steal my gas. LOL
i like the gas siphon tool - any links on where to find?
They call it a shaker syphon. Amazon has them as well as hardware stores.
@@justcorvettecrazy116 i found it on harbor frieght for like 8 bucks - thanx you !!!
Where did you buy the ball bearing suction tube?
Hardware store has them. Also seen them on Amazon.
Move the bucket under the filter once it has drained
Can this be changed without a car lift?

Well that sucks! Have had mine for maybe 15 years with no problems.
Bored me half to death. Had trouble staying awake. This 22 minute video could be about seven minutes.
