How is it possible that I have never come across your RUclips channel before? I love my drawing and have always measured everything within an inch of it’s life. I knew about sight size, but have only seen tutorials that focus on classes with a live model, which isn’t available where I live. I am so thrilled to have chanced upon your channel. Thank you so much for posting! Just brilliant.
Thanks ma'am. I'm an old retired carpenter and I've always wanted to draw and paint. I can't afford all of these expensive projectors and stuff like that, so I have to make do with basics. I appreciate your simple and easy to understand instructions very much. I know I'll never be another Vermeer or Leonardo, but I want to produce something that's not completely laughable. Anyway, thanks again for your hard work.
Awesome tutorial for a beginner like me.Lesson from a great artist I've tried eye balling only always get huge side planes 😊.Thankyou. I will watch the rest n try it.
Thanks for your feedback, really appreciate it. This is great way for new artists to start out, introduces you to very sound principles that can be expanded on
Thank you very much for your effort. I am a beginner in drawing and I am learning on my own. I hope you will provide lessons for beginners. Thank you.🌹🌹🌹🌹
Hi Carey, thanks for this video! You are a great teacher ! I have subscribed, I’m always looking to improve my art. I love doing portraits, both animals and people! 😊
Knock yourself out, but it will never teach you to draw. If you want to learn the skill it has to start somewhere. Learning about proportions , alignments, values, angles, line quality etc. and actually getting them in the right place is a skill that is developed. It starts with developing your observational skills, then adding increasing levels of complexity as you master each stage. This is step 1, and its for those who want to develop the skill, from there we move to other more demanding methods. Tracing and projectors have their place but not if you want to master your drawing skills. best of luck

Good technique. Using a T-square and triangle can eliminate most of the measuring.
The easier and more accurate way to create a sketch for a drawig or painting is using an art projector. Period.
