Nice linework 👍
Nice layout
Thankyou
Steve I’ve only got one hornby KFA and have got hornby buckeye magnetic couplings on it, runs sweet, points the lot - I seem to remember the tension coupling being a bit droopy and catching on stuff causing issues.
Either way if you’re flogging them 😉😁
That burnt out couch is decent too 👍👍
I'm gonna try magnetic couplings. If they don't work I may be selling them 😂
Dr Who 👍
with the kfa wagons they only seem to run on straight track no matter what so ive switched to dapol and bachmann and they are much better
Hi, great video content, it’s great to see you have a rake of Bachmann JJA wagon as they look superb, it’s a shame Accurascale didn’t produce a BR blue large logo class 66 as it’s one I would like to add to my collection, I have Hatton’s and Bachmann class 66 models which are very good indeed, have you heard the Legomanbiffo class 66 sound file? Keep up the great work, thanks for sharing.
Hi & thanks for commenting.
I'm also waiting for a large logo br 66 from Accurascale!
I have several Legoman biffo fitted 66s and with the right speaker combination are as good as the accurathrash. Plus the spirax and flange squeal functions are more controllable.
Hello, I have 9 Hornby Touax container wagons and I have Hunt intermediate magnetic couplings on mine. They all run fine on my 18'x18' layout with gradients to upper level. I changed to magnetic coupling due to tensions uncoupling going down gradient. I don't know what you have on your wagons? but if you have tension couplings on I suggest changing to magnetic.
I find derailing is not always wheels back to back incorrect or bogie fault, changing to a different type of coupling such as KDE or magnetic sometimes cures the problem. Thanks for a excellent video and I admire your layout, Bill.
Thanks for your comment. I'll try magnetic couplings as kadees don't seem to make any difference.
Cheers
Steve
Love the burnt out coach and new track config should improve running and playability. Susannah
Thanks for your kind words!
"The" wife is delighted you are happy with your burnt-out but of kit. Less so at being called THE wife!😉!!
Stunningly laid track ! Looks mint . Any chance you can come lay mine lol
Great stock as well 🤩
Thanks for commenting! Track laying and electrics are the two model railway jobs I'd be happy to hire someone else to do!!!
How much are your rail track wagons
@@nathanorrell2057 I can't remember how much they cost as I bought them so long ago! They are available on eBay for between £50 and £ 75 used
@@wolvertoncentresidings5676 nice than you
