It’s definitely a fun place to drive around! This video was also put together a couple months ago, it was kinda funny to see some frost on the ground when I watched it this morning. 🤪
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 I have a 40 mile drive over the Ortega hwy Rt 74. every day. Switchbacks and paperclips are my normal. I have a hard time driving in a straight line. I love the mountains!
okay so that was high 8s.. and the outback Xt or the wilderness you had at lows 7s... how much of a difference do you think the tires and the lift made? i thought the rav4 well the new one at least ive heard goes pretty good.
RAV4 hybrids definitely feel rather peppy in first gear because of the added electric torque. But due to its peak horsepower at barely above 200, it quickly runs out of steam, unlike the turbo Outback’s which pull decently better above maybe 20-30mph. 🙂 I’m sure the rav4 PRIME would in most situations smoke the turbo Outback’s. But non primes would get smoked. 🍗
I’d love to race those lol! I actually have a video I posted a while ago of my buddy’s Supercharged C6 Corvette destroying my turbo Outback. I’ve not spent nearly as much time in the Rav4s, but I’m leaning towards the Outback’s feeling more luxurious. They seriously as so well sorted out as a traveling car. I also have some day trip/ road trip videos of mine. I’ve gone over 800 miles in a single day in mine, and it did awesome. I wasn’t terribly fatigued or anything after arriving at the destination.
That looks like a nice place to enjoy the day.
