The South FL crew is the cool guys who came up to Central FL at Real St for a dyno day and let me test drive one of their Type Rs before I bought one. I let him drive my GTR as a fair exchange:) Good set of guys. You can also find a bunch of them on the Florida Type R facebook group.
Sonic Grey was my favorite color. But i couldn't find one in the right price range, under 42g. So, I picked a red one up for.... wait for it.... $38,000 Out the door.
if the vents were real the car will have way more drag - as they found when redesigning the 2020 facelift model, lots of changes had to be made to copensate for the drag
got my Rallye Red 67 plate from my Honda delaer with 14,000 miles and 1 previous owner for £24K ! 10K saving on a 70 reg lol! luckiest guy in England i swear

To me SiR brings another level of Si performance like Si..R, everything Type R a Si format sprinkle in typeR essence yes..and finally we got SiR back in the SiR I believe was a track focused ready upGrade. That gave the already perfect Si not focused and tradable...shutout!! To that first Si guy you spoke to...#SiR
Question: Take two Type-Rs, same year, same color, same mileage. But one is stock, and the other with lots of MODs/upgrades. Which one will have a better resale value? Me? I wouldn't change a thing:)
I only see 2 smart person in this video.. those 2 lady the R owner. the engineering already made these cars looks good and fast. some of these these guys think putting cold air intake and bigger pips gain another 60 more HP.. keep it the way is it is best
I don't believe Dynapack dynos (hub dyno) to be "whp". But on a Dynojet with just a front pipe, mine dyno'd 344whp 371tq with a lot of heat soaking going on that day. With it colder out now, and my intercooler and downpipe, I am sure my numbers on his dyno will hit about 380whp after another tune.
Don't know why I feel compelled to reply again, but my numbers on a dynojet with JUST a front pipe tune can be sent to anyone via email for proof. It was posted in the Facebook NA FK8 owners page last April. For my next tune, hopefully this month while it is still cold, I will go for a retune after the clear bra and roof wrap is done. I can honestly say I believe 380whp is doable with my current setup now. Someone else already did that on his dyno with his Type R.
Sad but true. I got mine "down" to sticker+$3K, after leaving my contact info w/dealers from upstate New York to Phila. On the flip side, it's STILL a bargain for the inflated price. No regrets.....
Cool man! My local dealer in Orlando wanted $10K above sticker and $2400 in dealer add ons like tint, free oil changes and who knows what else. They showed me a buyers order for $53K!!!! I said thanks but $10K is a trip for two to Hawaii and if anyone is going it's me and my wife not you. Needless to say I left that dealership without buying one.
@@CarStory Yikes, hope you & your Sweet Thing enjoyed Hawaii!!! I heard out West they were going for $10-15K over, one dealer around here wanted $5K to get on a waiting list. At dealer where I got mine, salesman said the last Type R they sold was to a guy in Texas who never came "up" to see it, had it flatbedded to Texas. I said "What a dope", salesman looked at me, and I said "If that was me, I'd have flatbedded myself to New York and DRIVEN the car back to Texas"! I hope you get yourself one some day. The best driving car I've ever owned, and I've had Alfas and a 911.....

front not back, back just shows the internals which I honestly don't like

A different bumper front and back will get rid of those ugly things
