Yes, what Lawrence is saying there - and I don't know the broader topic being discussed - is entirely true. I noticed that the national sport in the UK is not soccer (sorry, football), but accusing people of racism. Fox is right to say that it is happening all the time there, to the extent that it is now also boring.
Whatever you think of his politics, he's a tough nut to crack, compared to this lot. He's usually well prepared and has a sharp mind and a quick wit. I remember him agreeing to go before the Senate, or House committee in the Us. They were expecting to drag him across the coals. Instead he meticulously dissected their arguments, factually, rationally and with wit and humour. He wiped the floor with them! Most semi-competent MPs could probably do the same. The House of Commons is a whole different kettle of fish to the Senate or House of Representatives. Instead he meticulously dissected their arguments, factually, rationally and with wit and humour. He wiped the floor with them! Most semi-competent MPs could probably do the same. The House of Commons is a whole different kettle of fish to the Senate or House of Representatives. It sharpens you up in the game of confrontational exchanges and for all his moments of ridiculousness, (and some of those are deliberate, being not aimed at a mainstream audience) George Galloway is one of the best at it.
